I have 45 years of experience entertaining for exhibitors at trade shows Coast to Coast by drawing cartoons, not caricatures, on paper imprinted with the exhibitors logo. I have used Staples for years to print my paper. I didn't think my local staples could print A postcard with a business reply card attached, but I asked anyway. They told me they have a corporate printing department that could handle the job. They printed 12,000 cards for me. I provided the art from mailings I had done in the past. The Post Office had changed it's requirements, and I had to trash all 12,000. Even though it was my fault, to my surprise Staples refunded 100% of my money without me asking.
I order supplies from Staples on line and recently was blown away by their excellent customer service. I had ordered printer ink while in the process of moving, and by accident the ink was sent to my old address instead of my new address 2,000 miles away. I don't know if the address mistake was mine or theirs, but in any case the ink was delivered to my old house. When I told them they emailed me a return labels to put on the box and said a a delivery person would stop and pick it up for return within the next 4 or 5 days, and the box would be sent to my new address. But I could not reach the person (whom I really didn't know) who moved into my old house and so that solution could not be accomplished. I emailed them about the problem and they are sending a new order of ink to my new address at no charge. I'm impressed! They really didn't need to do that, but they did.
I like Staples for the variety of services, i. E. printing, UPS, FeDex drop off, fax service, but as a "store" it carries less and less, because they moved a lot of items online. If you need something now, you go there and chances are they don't sell it at the store, only onlione. Lot's of online stuff not available for same day pick up at store.
I was not asked to do a review but I am led to. This review is directed to Staples located in Arlington, VA on Wilson blvd. The customer service is of superior quality and it is always a pleasure to visit this store. The staff actually cares about providing great customer service. From the manage to all support staff. Thank you for your work and your great attitude! You are a model of how professional and kind customer service is provided! God bless you!
I got my order today from staples. Con and of course it was here fast and the prices were right. But when I opened my package and seen the condition of the 3ring binder makes me think I got it from a yard sale or out of a trash bin. It is very dirty and does not look new in anyway
Bought Adobe Photoshop 14 from Staples and it crashed my computer, took 2 days to get my computer working again. Staples would not give me a refund (out $170.00). Had I bought it on line direct from Adobe I could have got a full refund. Be cautious if installing his product and buy direct from Adobe in case you have problems.
I ordered an outdoor banner which they have to send away for. Order got lost some how and they expedited new order. Banner came in with wrong font. They gave me that one so I could cover my business while waiting for a new order to come in. Order came in with correct font (yay) and they didn't charge me for my troubles. It's really great to see a company that will stand by you and I want to thank my local Staples for their effort in remediating my situation. I will always use and recommend Staples printing department going forward. You are a class act
I was in the Findlay, Ohio Staples store this morning and they were short of staff. I was looking for two items and neither were on the shelves. Aaron who works at the store was kind enough to go to the warehouse area and hunt up both items and stock the displays with them. He was pleasant, helpful, and had a big smile on his face. He moved around quickly and came back with the items I was looking for.
I was well pleased with his great attitude and working qualities. The Findlay store and Staples, in this day and age, to have such an quality employ.
I had a school project to print for my Graduate program to study for my BCBA license. I attempted to call my local staples several times a day for 3 days in a row with no answer. I then sought help through their customer service line which kept me on hold for several minutes only to hang up on me before getting through to a live representative. At the end of the day I was unable to print my project at Staples and went through Amazon instead. Don't waste your time with Staples if you have an important project to get done.
Staples is the best place to get office supplies and equipment. They have a wide selection of items of great quality. They always have the newest computers and laptops. They have all the necessary accessories and gadgets you need for your computer. Their other electronics are all top of the line equipment. They always have great back to school sales. I always take my kids there because they like the school supplies that they have there. We bought a paper shredder from them and it has worked wonders. I will always go to Staples for all my office needs.
Over the years, I have shopped many times online and in stores. The selection, quality, and convenience are top notch. In store customer service has always been considerate and helpful. The prices along with discounts and coupons are as good as anywhere. I have always found any dealings to be ethical and above board.
Have been a customer for over 20 years and always very good service. Such a shame some local branch depots have closed and there is no longer a loyalty, customer card. I have not tried on line ordering.
I bought a Logitech mouse with a $20 discount code that Staples gave. Just looking at receipt they charged full price with no discount. Dont like to deal with companies that try to take advantage of you. Now
I never have to wait for a sales person to offer help. I don't know
Everything new in electronics so explaining what I am looking for
Can be difficult to understand without the lingo. They listen instead of pushing a hard sell and I get just what I need and don't have to waste time hanging around in the store.
As a small business owner, I always needed things done quick with high quality and a good price. Today, I visited the Staples on 442 S Oyster Bay, Ararad from the printing depart helped me to make a banner for my marketing event this weekend. I was impressed with quality of the banner. Ararad was a true professional, I struggled with sending the image to Staples and he patiently helped me. I also visited the main cashier where Stephanie helped me locating the accessories I need for my marketing event. Stephanie was very resourceful in helping me getting what I need.
Do not give Staples your business. In late July of this year, an immuno-compromised, senior woman was assaulted in a New Jersey Staples store. It was a racially based hate crime, even if it was nominally triggered by an argument over mask wearing. The victim was grabbed and thrown to the ground, with force, by the younger assailant. The victim lay on the ground, in extreme pain from a broken leg, and NO ONE in the store stepped in to help. NO EMPLOYEES came to her aid, for the several minutes that the security camera footage ran. Everyone just stood back and watched this woman writhe in agony. After the attack, the assailant breezes through the store, with no one intervening. She even circles back to the woman she attacked. And appears to kick her. And no one stops her. So cancel Staples. They no longer exist, for me. I would not feel safe in any of their stores.
I have just got off the phone with Staples re their rewards system. Apparently what you order online does not count towards their Rewards system ONLY what you purchase in store! So don't do it! It's a SCAM!
Presently Staples has an offer... 10% off your next Online order if you sign up for emails. Nothings about any exclusions. I got the coupon code and again nothing about any exclusions. Tried to use it and could not. Per the person I spoke to on the phone it has a GLOBAL EXCLUSION and is only good for items not on sale or discounted and only on office supplies. Definitely false marketing.
Long story short: All I asked was they return the delivery fee when i had to retrieve my own item due to no available delivery drivers. They refused, and argued with me over how I got my item instead.
Details:
I ordered a gaming chair online, shipped via LaserShip with a anticipated delivery of 11/23. They charged a 9.99 Handling & delivery fee. It never showed up. Instead of fixing the problem, Staples re-shipped the chair a second time via LaserShip. LaserShip has no delivery driver for my area. I had to go and pick up my item from LaserShip myself. Staples not only refuses to refund the delivery fee, they proceeded to argue about how I am "not allowed" to pick up my legally bought and fully paid for merchandise from LaserShip!
Avoid purchasing anything from this company. Go with AMAZON or OFFICEMAX instead.
I bought a wall mural on their website 2 months ago. It arrived fairly quickly (within a few weeks) and was well packaged. It was cheaper than any other store I had found, and the quality was great. The mural, once placed, looks absolutely amazing! Very pleased with the price, the quality and the service!
Answer: Good service at their brick and mortar store, now good service online
