Puchased two desks by Techi Mobili. Attractive, fair price, heavy enough for office use BUT each arrived banged up in boxes about to fall apart and missing assembly parts which prevented assembling the desks. Many types of office furniture use parts available at Lowes, Ace, and others, but not TM -- they use a cross-dowel that is smaller than all the others. So, call Tachi Mobili, expecting them to ask my address and send the parts. No. They send me a form, demand proof of purchase, photos (of the missing parts I guess), details from the product, etc. Wow. Missing parts is a good way to bring my review from 5 to 1. Good customer service can mitigate that BUT, in this case, I would choose minus 5 if that's possible. Ordered from Staples because of reputation. Will just use Amazon in the future.

Went in Staples in Jersey City, NJ to "SCAN" a 90-page document. No printing - just scanning. They charged 50-cents per page to scan a document! AND worst of all - it's only self-service. UNBELIEVABLE! I've been a long time customer of Staples shopping there at least a few times a month. I will now BOYCOTT them forever!
Don't ever buy anything on line especially w a gift card. They take return and won't exchange until you get a HARD GIFT CARD even though refund is processed. Bought on the 8th and still waiting on the 20th. Can't buy anywhere else because they have my money.
I threw away the receipt accidentally that would have connected me to their survey but I just wanted to give a proper shout out to the Manager I believe his name is Richard. I went in, I needed some photos of my sister who had passed away he was kind he was professional and he was incredibly helpful and I just want Babylon to know there is a great Staples on Deer Park Avenue in N. Babylon.
What a horrible experience! 48 hours of wasted time, aggravation and disappointment. I brought a simple 8"x10" flyer in to have a few photos and text arranged. Because the employees working in the print center have under the table cash jobs they are hustling through large editing jobs... only one employee is handling all the other walk in customers. This employee was aggressive, rude, beyond difficult and a waste of time to even try communicating with any longer as it had already been 24 hours and 4 trips back to the store with nothing completed. Greatly frustrated I called the "corporate office", explained the issue along with my Friday at 5 p.m. deadline and the women offered to whip the flyer up and email it back. This call was at 10a.m., she notified me at 5p.m. That she would be finished at 8p.m. As she is answering call too, and it is now 10p.m. With still no flyer, no email, no response. What a waste of time! Staples is not what it used to be 20 years ago...
Good morning: I am so upset with the guy that took my print job order today at 10:30 AM at the Port Chester Staples store. I only needed 50 color copies back and front. He said, would you like to wait for them. My response... oh okay, you guys have the time now to print them. His response, yes. I said okay I will wait for them. When I pay for them I have a $10 charge for express printing. When I asked him about it, his response what, I asked you if you you wanted to wait for them and you said yes. Exactly, that is all he told me and did not say there was going to be an extra charge for it. I did not need these till 6pm! I could have saved myself the $10! He did not comunicate exactly that there will be an extra charge for it. He needs to make that clear to customers. I am not happy at all... I should have not paid the $10 becuase he did no make that clear!
I was told my supplies I ordered would take a month do to covid 19. I decided to order and planned for a month. A month later they cancel my order. So, they make me wait a month before the cancel it instead of just canceling weeks before, This is your typical online store that just doesn't give a $hit about you
Atrocious packing of Staples premium paper: Crushed cardboard box (NOT Staples box) & opened loose reams in box! $54 on loose, out of ream (500) packages. Called USELESS off-shore Customer Service, have to WAIT 5 plus days for pickup and another 10 days for my refund. I WAS a Staples customer, but NEVER AGAIN. I'm calling my bank tomorrow morning to block the $54 debit.
My last three Lap Tops and Devices I have bought at Staples Online. When you shop do not forget to shop Staples Online. It surprised me as a better price and to save shipping ship to your local store. The Laptops I bought did not fail I just upgraded to newer technology and Ipads...
I was amazed when trying to order TZ labels from Staples, that they would only sell me the stock on hand, and could not, or would not order any other tapes I required, even if I paid for them pre order!
This would only be done if I had a registered account, needless to say, I walked away, disgruntled.
I went into local store to purchase a common item. The item was out of stock. The sales associate indicated I could order the item on line and it would arrive the next day by 5pm. I placed the order and paid for the item at the store. I was promised my item would arrive by 5pm. At 4 pm, I had not received my order or heard from Staples. I called the number on my receipt and was assured it would be delivered by 5pm. I called again at 5:15pm and spoke with supervisor who had no clue as to where the item was or when it would be delivered. Next time if the item is not on the shelf, I will leave and not trust the Staples on line order service for timely deliver. It is now 5:42 and still no order or notice of when it will arrive.
I purchased a shredder from the Staples on Ocotillo in Queen Creek, AZ. I also purchased the store warranty. I was told if there was a problem I could return it to the store. After using it off and on for a couple weeks, it jammed and I could not clear it. I was not aware what I purchased was a short time warranty. My husband recently passed away and I was busy with arrangements, did not realize the shredder return needed to be a priority. Today, 6weeks after purchase, I was informed I would need to deal with Asurion to get my money back. I will contact them, but will not deal with Staples again.
I also had a package I needed to return via UPS. This Staples had a UPS outlet. I had all the prepaid labels, but needed the package taped. The person at the desk treated me like she was doing me a favor by taping and receiving my package. I cannot say enough about how poorly I was treated at this store. If this is an example of the Staples service, I will not use them again.

They are very bad with store pickup. I called a store to check if they have a specific laptop and they said yes and once i drove there turns out they never had it.
Online: I submited an order and 2 days later called to check on my order they said the order was canceled from there side and never informed me and by that time the item was sold out.

If you buy online make sure you deliver it to the NEAREST STORE, otherwise you'll never get the item (unless you're sitting at home and waiting for the package). They don't call when they're about to deliver - they deliver between 9 and 5 (when everybody works) - they never deliver on the weekends - and they have 3 attempts. To make things worse, delivery guys enter the building without permission - I never got a call from downstairs, I was nearby, I could have come to take the package. Simply ridiculous! NEVER NEVER NEVER buying again with staples online! Don't bother calling the customer service 877 number - they can't do anything. And then you wonder why Best Buy takes over the business.
I went to Staples on Slauson blvd of Huntington Park,California to buy color inks for my color printers.
I picked 4 different colors of inks and waited a casher to pay for 15minutes.
Nothing busy.but only one cashier-red haired teaching for something for a lady endlessly and other check out site light was on but no one stay there.
Online pick up desk was right next and a girl was sitting without anything doing.
I asked twice someone can help me but all ignored …
Almost no customer inside and several store workers are here and there.
But no one helped …

I don't know how this store still exist this location.
Always their service was rude and slow in my 8years experience to visit this store.
Also store workers- mostly Latinos- don't know about product well. This was my last visit of this store and Never gonna return again.
I draw acrchitectural drawings. The other Day I brougt one in to be reproduced from a "thumb Drive". I've done this at Staples for a few years up until two weeks age with no issue. The drawing was 1:1 scale. They couldn't get it right. For some reason they tried to scale it to a paper size. My paper size was not noted. They could have printed the image on any size paper.
To shorten this up. They were new and used the excuse that they didnt have the program to draw it... 1:1 scale? Give me a break.
