For two days I've gotten texts reminding/confirming me of my appt. Then, exactly 9 minutes before my scheduled appt (while I was already in the store) I get an email cancelling the appointment! I was also informed by store staff that a phone call was made also - except the exact phone where the texts came to show no incoming call, nor voice mail message. This is absolutely ridiculous service. This is the second time this has happened. Never again. I work at_________ - and need prescription safety glasses, computer glasses, as well as regular prescription glasses. Definitely will not be returning, and will gladly make an effort to warn others of the sad service and methods of operation. This is the worst operation I've ever seen! TThe entire staff should be embarrassed by this. Nine minutes before a scheduled appt., via email, not accessible until I arrived home. No phone call. No employee of Stanton would ever appreciate such shoddy service from anyone if they were on the receiving end.
Please save yourself the aggravation - go elsewhere! Anywhere! I know I will.

Hi I went to Stanton optical to get glasses after a tele video doc checked my vision they told me i didn't qualify for the $79 fr 2 pairs because i needed reading glasses. So the charged me $135 for progressive lenses. They Lied to me! When the progressive lenses came in they were Horrible at best. Couldn't see up close or at a distance. Anmol Bahia was extremely RUDE to me after I wanted a partial refund for the difference. I told her I was lied too and they will lose any future business. Anmol Bahia stated SHE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT MY BUSINEESS!

So they had me see the doc and I again said I want Distance only. The doc said the first prescription was wrong and wrote a new one fr distance only. The $79 pairs. Which are OK now. Anmol Bahia said they won't refund the difference for ridicules reasons. Anmol Bahia was VERY RUDE talking over me. Go somewhere else as they bait and switch and treat you horrible if you have a complaint. There corporate office is a JOKE. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

I went to Stanton optical for the 2 for 59 glasses when I came in they did the exam immediately after I asked which glasses were 2 for 59 they were the worst glasses I've ever seen did not match the ons they display online after that I was upsold to a pair of three hundred dollar glasses 2hich I could not afford but I had to pay for the exam so I bought the glasses anyways they were supposed to be done in a week I am still waiting I can't see and I can't return to work til I have glasses this is the worst optometrist I've ever seen would not recommend to my dog... these people suck

Bad customer service
March 17, 2019

I went to the store on 3/9/19 with my brother in law and got told that they had a special of buy one frame and the other one free and $99 for the glass including both frames so made an appointment and went yesterday 3/16/19 did everything got my 2 frames asked some question and they told me that my glasses where going to be ready in an hour went back and they only gave me one pair i asked for the second pair and i got told there was no other glasses for me only this pair i asked why and explain what i was told on 3/9/19 and the girl said that she talked to her manager and the manager said if i wanted the 2nd pair i had to pay $50 more and i asked why if it was buy one get one free and the glass was already pay for and the manager said to the other girl "JUST GIVE IT TO HER I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH HER NOW" that made me kind of mad and im never going back and i dont recomend going there. I have had astigmatism as long as I remember. I've never had blurry vision with contacts in or wearing glasses. Out of right eye with new script it was cloudy, I went back and doctor very rudely told me it was because of astigmatism and my contact wasn't for astigmatism, mind you they have that contact to me. I told him I've never had this before he said I would have to live with it. He then said I needed to give new script 5-7 days and come back because I would not give up my position that it was not correct. I went back today, still not correct. He told me to be quiet and he was the doctor and I have astigmatism and that is how it was and I was going to deal with it. If I wanted old script I could do that. I said old script wasn't cloudy but you said my prescription has changed so I must need a new contact, it something is wrong with this one. He opened the door and said get out. I said excuse me. He said you get out now. I said okay, do I get a refund. Do I get my script? Let me call someone because I'm not understanding... he said you get out now... I walked to the front and that lady was nice, but no refund, nothing... the doctor was so very rude both times I seen him. This was the biggest waste of money and month and half of my life wasted! I will be reporting them to BBB and everywhere I can too. This doctor is insane!

They suck they lie about the prices for the glasses and the exam they claim my sons eyes were so bad rhey wouldn't sign off on his prescription took him somewhere else no issues then my daughter never wore glasses at all said here eyes were horrible they prescription they gave her glasses had her head hurting first night took her back that exam was worse then the first then their was me they gave me contacts in a bag didn't have me try them on or anything then I couldn't even see out of them had me do another exam then said the Dr couldn't change the prescription had to email another about that so why even do the exam then said they would call by Monday its Thursday nothing then everytime I call customer service hangs up just awful I will never use them again and I'm out of 500 dollars for a trial pair of contacts glasses my daughter can't wear never again

I would say Stanton optical is absolutely the worst by far eye care facility I have ever went to. My first appointment I started my exam and then their system went down I waited for 30 mins and it still wasn't up. The second appointment I checked in and the system was down as well. They do virtual eye appointments which is a complete joke. They didn't see if my prescription was correct before I left with contacts. When I completed everything to get my glasses and check out it took them 3 hours to process my transaction with care credit. When I was trying to contact them in regards to this I was sent to a call center in which they tried to fix your issue. They associate at the call center did not understand my problem and had me repeat it over and over to try and grasp an understanding. After I gave up on that. I called three more times and continued to receive the call center I ask to be transferred to the store to speak with someone directly they finally transferred me. The issue was not corrected that day. I had to wait a whole week to get the issue resolved and by this time I was over it I cancelled my order and went to Eyemart express it took them under an hour to do the exam and have my glasses done. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Delano California Office

Good afternoon, this email is to file a complaint against, the Delano office for poor communication, customer service and accountability. Months back my husband went in for glasses and did not find anything he liked. He was offered the opportunity to bring in preferred glasses of his choice and they would replace lenses to accommodate his medical needs. Upon bringing in his birthday gifted Gucci glasses he was given two to three week turn around time. They had him sign paperwork for the accommodations/modification to glass, but never informed if there was possible loss or damages that SO would not take any accountability. Upon multiple calls and messages left about the updates on the progress of his glasses. Delano office staff would only say that they were in customs being investigated. Several weeks continued my husband was not able to drive eventually SO offered to let him borrow some glasses. After several weeks later I continued to call with no response. I finally received a call from the office manager stating that the glasses were lost/stolen from UPS and they can't do anything about it. They offered to upgrade his prescriptions and pick any glasses of his choice. However they don't offer Gucci or designer products! And upon sending my receipt for reimbursement the office manager denied my request stating that we signed paperwork on the implications of loss or damages! That was never addressed, explained to us upon us leaving the glasses in their responsibility! I am reaching out to you to see how you can better resolve this situation rather than me having to go and leave bad reviews and persuade our small community to avoid doing business with you. We have been at various local owned optometrist and this has never happened.

Horrible!
November 13, 2020

Went to return both glasses. One pair came on the 12th & another pair came on the 15th. Had 30 days to return them. One pair was reimbursed but the other (11/13/20) was 1 day over the 30 day return because I had been tested for Covid19 & couldn't be here to return it, (I was negative thank goodness). The branch manager (blonde on 1210 E County Line Road- LeAnn) said that the system would not let her override it but she IS the branch manager & there is a COVID-19 epidemic! If I would have came into the business & breathed on her I would have been responsible!

Unfairly treated

There has been a month since I ordered my daughters and my glasses. I told them to ship glasses to my home. 2weeks later i received one of my pairs. Frames were correct but I couldn't see through lens. BY THE WAY I HAVE CALLED THE STORE NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET NO ANSWER) A week later my other pair came in. Wrong frames, correct lens. We were told to expect our glasses to arrive on 08/04/2020. As of today my daughters glasses has NOT arrived. I tracked her order and they are shipping her glasses to store. Why did I PAY FOR SHIPPING IF I WILL HAVE TO GO GET HER GLASSES AT THE STORE. TODAY, 08/20/2020 I WILL CALL YET AGAIN PROBABLY TO GET NO ANSWER AND NO HELP. I RATE STANTON OPTICAL A NEAGATIVE 10

WORST SERVICE EVER
October 3, 2020

Staton optical in Stockton, CA on Pacific Ave is the worst. I spoke to a lady named Addie after being transferred around twice. She was rude and would not let me talk. I called in because my contacts were ordered and i wanted to cancel them because they said it would be 3-5 business days it was 5 business days yesterday and when trying to ask her then why say 3-5 business day she proceeded to interrupt me When I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor she said she was the supervisor then I asked to speak to a manager she said she was the manager of the building. She kept interrupting me when talking would not even let me speak and stated to me, " Are you going to let me get a word in?" after I let her speak. Then I asked for a district manager she then said to me they dont give out the number its the weekend and they are not working. I told her I knew that and that I would call on Monday she refused and hung up on me. This is the WORST SERVICE EVER! My advice to anyone who choses to come here, DON'T waste your money go some where where you are treated kindly
