My wife and I went to Stanton thinking we would get our glasses the same day we paid for my wife's glasses then before I paid for mine my wife asked what time she could pick her glasses up then she was told 7 to 10 days we asked for refund haven't even left the premises yet and was told no refunds I took my business elsewhere and have my glasses my wife is still waiting we will not be back

Showed up 2 minutes after closing. I understand I was late but I drove two hours to pick up told the workers inside this. They did a little hand wave at me like shooing a dog away
I went there for the eye exam and a pair of glasses and after everything was said and done my bill was $527 so I thought that was very high and mislead then after I tried on the glasses the prescription was wrong so they rescheduled to do another prescription and the same problem it was way off and because I paid for the glasses I felt trapped so I asked them to use my old prescription that the VA had done for me prior years. I wouldn't never recommend anyone to go there.
I had an excellent eye exam & the customer service was outstanding. I am very happy with my new eyeglasses, as they perfectly replaced my favorite pair in the same designer, style & color.

I just relocated to Greenville SC and I put my last contact lens in my eye last week so I needed to find a place that would give me a new prescription. Stanton Optical advertises many times a day here in Greenville. "2 pairs of glasses for $69 plus a FREE exam." Well... that sounded okay. So I went online, made an appointment and when I arrived they had my appointment and all was well... until they asked me what I was there for. I told them I'd just put my last contact in and needed to get my eyes checked and a new prescription. I also added I saw the ad for "2 pairs of glasses for $69 plus a FREE exam." "Ohhh sorry," they said. Contact lens are a different exam, which is crock, because I still got examined for glasses and contacts. But apparently to get contact lenses its $89 for an exam and nothing free. Except if I bought the contacts right then I get a free exam the next time I came in. I opted not to buy them there and I'm glad I did as when I went online, their lens were double the price I got at lens.com.
I broke my glasses so I needed to get new ones fast so I went to a place that promised same day only to find out they only do standard same day and they wanted $175 for the exam, Went to Stanton in Palm Beach Gardens Anna was great not only did I get a free eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses made but also got me a frame for my old lens I could not be happier
Please do not subject yourself to the duplicity and defective products that they sell. Of course, the $79 for 2 pair of eyeglasses is a tip-off to bait and switch; but that is not my primary concern. We walked out with an order for one pair of eyeglasses for my husband with protection coating and a two-year warranty for almost $500.
When the coating began to peel after a few months, my husband went to return the glasses. He was charged $90 to get a replacement! When I called customer service, I was told that our warranty helped reduce the cost (20% of the replacement). It was the defective protective coating that was bubbling, I explained, so this should be their responsibility. More conversation disclosed that the coating was only $45, so why were we charged double that cost?
We were given new lenses, he explained. So it was 20% cost to us with the two-year warranty. I asked to waive the $90 additional charge, but they wouldn't budge.
When my husband returned to pick up the new glasses, there was a different frame; and they explained that the old frame did not fit the new lenses. Well, the lenses are shaking on these frames, as well.
Shoddy workmanship. Poor customer support. Terrible experience overall and getting more $$$ for their defective work.
Five visits and multiple requests for credit with no response or apology. It is a nightmare experience.
I have been purchasing prescription glasses from this place for years, and i must say the quality is excellent. The eye exam and customer service were incredibly helpful.

The customer service is horrible they overbook and make you wait hours to get seen. The hours more to get your order processed. They WILL NOT call you to tell you the glasses are ready, because their robo calling is "broken". Then my glasses were made wrong the messed up the astigmatism! The overall experience was a NIGHTMARE. In 50 years of wearing glasses this place was hands down THE WORST! Going back to America's Best!
My buddy and I went in to get exams and new prescriptions for both of us.
After his exam he was told they didn't accept his insurance. This is something they should have explained to him before the exam ever took place.
I was told my insurance didn't cover anything (exam, frames or lens) which was an outright lie.
After calling my insurance company, my Rep called Stanton Optical.
After spending a day on calls with Stanton Optical, my Ins Rep called me back explaining that everything should be cleared up and she faxed Stanton Optical a copy of my coverage and I should call Stanton Optical and make arrangements for a refund of what I was charged for the exam and so forth.
I tried calling Stanton Optical but was given a run around and Stanton has been avoiding me making no effort to communicate with me.
A completely untrustworthy and incompetent facility.
I would have given Stanton Optical minus 5 stars but sadly they don't make that an option.
I have been in business my entire life and never have I seen the garbage I see today.
In my day you could not stay open acting like these people are.
Anyone doing business with these people are fools.
I've worked in customer service for over 30 years. I was trained to put customers first and to sincerely resolve issues quickly and satisfactory. Currently this culture in most cases has been extinct not at Stanton. Every year I order glasses and contacts which can cost a pretty penny, even with insurance. Case & point 1-I had gone to get my contact exam and went back to get my glass exam, reason being my insurance will ONLY pay for one or the other. So I was prepared to pay out of pocket. NOPE not here. I was told that when I got my contact exam two months prior that it covers glasses. WHAAATTT you say! 2. the associate worked with me on getting two of my frames (repurposed frames) with lenses that was cheaper than going thru my insurance. Mind blown! Above and beyond what I would/could expect. 2-went to pick up my frames and they told me they have scratched one of the frames and for me to go and pick a frame and they would put my script in them for FREE. Proactive and think of the customer. The damage was minimal but the fact they would do this gave them major points. My eye wear journey has always been expensive. I have always expected to pay crazy money but to go to a company that helps the customer save money, holds themselves accountable for mistakes and generally wants the customer satisfied is unheard of in this present day. The icing on the cake was they gave me a lamented card with my script for future used which is so smart. They thought of everything. I have been singing their praise every since.

I went to Stanton Optical at the end of March 2020. I spent in between two and three hundred dollars. Why did three or four weeks for my eyeglasses to come back because I broke the pair I had. When they come back the prescription was totally wrong. I could not see anything. They asked me to try them out for a week. They called and said my second pair was ready I never picked them up because I knew the prescription was the same. I had to wait a few weeks went back in had another eye exam done. I had an 11 appointment. I feel like everyone was taken in front of me because they had not collected their money yet. I sent there for two and a half hours. Finally got my eye exam done. There was a big difference in the prescription. They took my frame back and was supposed to get the pair I never picked up and send them off for new lenses. That was 4 weeks ago. Today I call to find out about my glasses and they tell me that I have one pair ready. It's the same pair that are never picked up because the prescription was wrong. They're showing my order has never been placed. I can't see to drive so I am so upset right now. My experience has been nothing but the worst.
Kimby was extremely helpful. Great job with personal care. She made me feel like I was the only person in the room while recognizing others as they entered the store.

I purchased my glasses and they appeared fine. Within a month I started noticing what appeared to be spots in the lenses, clearly in the integrity of the lens, more spots appear as time goes by. The worst customer service! I was told the issue could only be resolved if I returned to the original franchise I purchased them from. I travel for work and asked if there were other locations I could go to should there be a problem, of course I was told yes. In N.Y. There weren't any. I reported the problem to the location I purchased the glasses and have gotten nothing but a run around. The one time I was actually able to speak to the Augusta manager he showed no interest in actually understanding the problem and stated a 30 day return policy. Wondering if anyone has experienced this same issue with the spots in the lens? Also, the worst lenses to clean, better quality for a pair of 20$ cheaters. The run around from customer service and associates at the call center has left me frustrated and fed up. I've worn glasses for 15 yrs. And never experienced such low quality and poor service. Choose another company that will provide some concern for customer satisfaction. 0 rating

Exam from a Doc in third world very broken English via Skype.
3 pairs out of five showed up NONE... O say again NOT ONE PAIR WAS CLEAR Or near focus!
Several phone calls and about 3 months later after the eye exam they claimed I received all Sets I paid for 5 pairs in all never saw the 4 or 5 units lolololo
Been 3 months now in fight with bank for money back.
