Please do not subject yourself to the duplicity and defective products that they sell. Of course, the $79 for 2 pair of eyeglasses is a tip-off to bait and switch; but that is not my primary concern. We walked out with an order for one pair of eyeglasses for my husband with protection coating and a two-year warranty for almost $500.
When the coating began to peel after a few months, my husband went to return the glasses. He was charged $90 to get a replacement! When I called customer service, I was told that our warranty helped reduce the cost (20% of the replacement). It was the defective protective coating that was bubbling, I explained, so this should be their responsibility. More conversation disclosed that the coating was only $45, so why were we charged double that cost?
We were given new lenses, he explained. So it was 20% cost to us with the two-year warranty. I asked to waive the $90 additional charge, but they wouldn't budge.
When my husband returned to pick up the new glasses, there was a different frame; and they explained that the old frame did not fit the new lenses. Well, the lenses are shaking on these frames, as well.
Shoddy workmanship. Poor customer support. Terrible experience overall and getting more $$$ for their defective work.
Five visits and multiple requests for credit with no response or apology. It is a nightmare experience.
