I have insurance first quoted almost a thousand dollars for 2 pairs, you have to remember I bought from them last year. When it was on our dayfront, name or ownership walked out with 2 pairs for less than $200.
Argued with the salesperson, she dropped it to 540 i wasn't going to pay $540.
End it up with 1 pair 450.
They have no clue what they're doing. During the eye exam, the person that was doing the exam felt like he was in another country. Reading off a script sheet wasn't happy with that. Most of the time, the technician was not in the room with me. Had to readjust the vision piece, you look through on my own. She had it sideways and uncomfortable.
When I went to pick the pair up, the person handed him to me. Said there you go see you next time. No adjustments, no fittings. Nothing at all, as far as help went.
This will be the last time I ever go to this establishment.
If you buy from them, you're doing it out your own risk.
I went to Stanton in Knoxville Tn about 1.5 years ago. I got my glasses and absolutely could not see out of them. Went back they adjusted the lens and still couldn't see. In the meantime the frames tore up. I went back a third time. They replaced the frames but told me they would not again. Still couldn't see out of them. He told there was nothing I could do and I must have been dishonest about my eye exam. So 1.5 years and 550.00 later still no glasses and have never received a phone call after calling customer support several times. Stay away from Stanton Optical.
I went in to the Stanton Optical experience blissfully ignorant of the MANY, MANY negative reviews. Unfortunately, I purchased a week before their third anniversary sale. Although customer service said they would give the 60 % discount, the store management wouldn't follow through. For shame, Stanton Optical!
Nothing is what it seems inside this store. You think you're going to visit an optometrist, instead you're dealing with people who don't have the qualifications to tell you what's going on. No optometrist onsite. All their prices on frames are scammy
I bought glasses at Stanton Optical and should have paid more attention to the glasses I received. Well past the 30 days I noticed they were crooked with the arms not set equally on both sides. I also found they did not follow my optometrist instructions and the left lens was improperly ground. Don't waste your time and money with Stanton.
Awful visit, they advertise 2 pair of glasses for $79. But that is not true, my 2 pair of glasses was over $600. I refused to pay the $600 but they stuck me for $109 for the eye exam which was suppose to be free. STANTON EYE IS A SCAM.1
I thought that changing the name from My Eye Lab to Stanton would improve things, but I had the same negative experience with my eye care. They gave me the wrong prescription, providing a lower strength than I needed. When I tried the sample contacts, I couldn't see at all. Additionally, they won't refund my money, claiming they provided a service. However, I don't understand how someone can evaluate my vision accurately while sitting behind a camera or a screen. I do not recommend this place. I'm very upset.
It has been 25 days and theese people couldnt deliver me my glasses which are 10 days overdue, this place is garbage and a scam it doesnt deserve any buisness at all.
KAYLA Z. The sales manager was so nice she immediately fixed my glasses it took less than 5 minutes to get them fixed thank you so much!
Though the staff were friendly, the virtual exam was horrible. I'm certain my eyes were transposed during the left/right.
I came in for a contact exam, which also included an eye glass exam. My contact prescription is -5.50 in each eye plus I have a astigmatism. I was on my last pair of contacts and on the morning of my appointment I lost one and so I arrived with only one contact. I original booked with them because they had appointments the next day. When I got there everything seemed fine, however as the appointment came to an end I reminded the clerk I needed a trial pair because as I removed the one contact I had, it slit. She went to look and couldn't find my prescription. So, she called the store manager to come and help her. I explained that even if they don't have my exact prescription, to please give me something because I couldn't see and it was snowing outside. The manager came back and said unfortunately she didn't have anything that I could wear. I was overwhelmed because I needed something because I literally could not see. I begin crying and asking whyQ was she treating me like that and I asked her was she willing to take responsibility if she let me leave with no trial, in the snow with my eyesite being so bad and she said YES. It was at this point I begin to ask her to contact the doctor back, shecwas clearly being very rude to me (her customer) and I should not have had to continue explaining why I had to have some contacts before I left the store.
I was at the eye doctor and they had just verified how I couldn't see from my eye exam. At this point I was very tramatized and scared because I didnt know what was going to happen to me or how I was going to get home. It was not safe to drive for regular persons with 29/20 vision, so imagine how unsafe it was for me to drive with my poor eyesite? At this point the manager gets upset and said I was causing a scene, I wasn't being coopertive and that I could leave, I was like what/why? She proceeded to say because I was disrespecting her (I was shocked and appauld). I could not believe she had the audacity to expect the highest level of respect from me, when she gave me zero respect? I told her she was being disrespectful to me (as I was the customer). So, I again asked her to re call the doctor, because I needed to leave with a trial pair. She got mad and told me to leave and I was like fine but I need my trial lenses. So, she says out loud "I am calling the police" and she did (making it seem like, I started it). I just wanted a trial pair of lenses. She lied and made me out to be the angry "black person" to police. I was like why you calling the police, what did I do? She again said I was being disrespectful to her. Police arrive and tells me they talked with her and she wants to WORK THINGS OUT AND GIVE ME MY TRIALS. I again asked the officer, why are they here. They said the manager called in a disturbance and I was so shocked. This could have all been avoided, had she exhibited better customer. Long story short the other manager came in and gave me a pair of trial lenses. By this time I was so hurt, she made me out to be the "angry" woman. The police finally left and no charges were filed. This was the most unprofessional, embarrassing experience I have ever had.
El Servicios de confection de lentes son fatales, se toman muucho más tiempo del que dicen para entregar las gafas y lo peor de todo es que a nadie le importa. Son unos irresponsables. No cumplen lo que dicen.
After sitting appointment and asking questions.
We Get There and it all starts over Totally misleading staff and horrible experience. Staff Not trained. Had me sit in room waiting for the "virtual exam" for thirty minutes. Then put me back in waiting area. Then to another room and could not adjust their equipment. Had me slide almost out of chair. And lean forward. The "virtual" examiner said I needed on site exam. However, it was going to be over a month out; as their doctor was out of the country. Odd for a large chain. Still wanted to sell me glasses, even though there was still work to be done. Then was going to do a referral. They said no one really does what the examiner just told me I needed. Three people up front tried to be argumentative and rude with my wife. Never again!
I ordered glasses on 9/20, I wasn't told until after I paid that they could not have the glasses until 2 weeks later, and guess what today is 10/7 which is over 2 weeks and the glasses aren't ready and they don't know when they'll be ready. Also the $79 for 2 pairs is bs, I paid over $413 for 2 pairs of their value collection so be aware. ITS ALL A SCAM
Inattentive staff. Helped incoming visitors while halting our business...several times. I was attempting to purchase 2 pairs of glasses, and had a vision test from hardly trained staff. After 2 hours they exclaimed computers were slow, we could leave and they would contact me. They texted a follow up appointment to be at 1:30 p.m...AFTER we had left at 2:15 p.m. We were there over 2 hours without purchase status. I'm am going elsewhere to buy my glasses and AM NOT paying for the FREE exam with purchase at Stanton Optical.
I got an eye exam on July 2,2024. I need bifocal and was told that it would take 7 to 10 days for my new lined bifocal lenses to be put in my existing frames. This seem a bit long to me but I accepted and went home.
This morning 15 days later I hadn't heard anything so I gave a call to check on the status. I was told that my glasses were not ready and would not be in until July 23rd because they are bifocals. I told the woman I spoke to that 21 days was completely unacceptable.
I asked that they give me back my frame and refund the charge for the lenses, I am willing to pay for the exam. The woman said ok she had to talk to her manager and would call me back. No call as of yet.
I went in for my appointment and all seemed well. It is a virtual appointment and was a bit odd but seemed to go well. I was asked to go to the waiting room and look at glasses while my prescription was sent. I went to the wall that said 2 for $79. The front lady comes over and I asked about the 2 for $79 and she said "Oh, those aren't included. They have a color coded tag."The pair I had in my hand weren't anything special but had a tag that indicated they were $159 PLUS lenses as plastic lenses weren't available in any except the 2 for $79. I asked where those glasses were and she pointed to a table and there were exactly THREE pair of buy 2 for $79.
We can not get this company to communicate. My wite's glasses were suppose be to about two weeks delivery now it seem it's going to be over a month. You can not call the store direct all call go to central location. Then we ask them to contact the lab and that is only accessible through emails. The store has sent at least three emails with no response. Then we go up to the store again to get refund and no one is capable of giving us a refund. The supervisor says she needs to contact her boss. I said call him now or give me the contact number. Neither of those suggestions we received well. So l call their corporate office. Guess what still waiting.
Don't do business with this company. No real customer
I called Stanton Optical for an eye exam. I spoke to somebody in a call center who gave me an appointment for Saturday at 5 o'clock at their Coral Springs location. Today I get a message reminding me of my appointment. 10 minutes later I get another message saying that they're rescheduling my appointment to a different time. 10 minutes later I get another text sayin they're rescheduling it again.
Then I get a call from a young girl at the company. She told me that she had to reschedule my appointment again. I asked her why I was getting so many text messages. Her answer which was snide stated she doesn't control the text messages. But she had to control the text messages since their office was the one trying to reschedule my appointment.
I did mention to her. It was the call center who gave me that appointment. Then strangely, she said that the call center has no idea of the times when the doctor is available. I thought that was a strange answer. I said, so you're telling me that when a customer calls and gets the call center they're just giving out bogus appointments? Believe it or not she said yes
I said, do you spend half the day calling everybody up and rescheduling everyone. She said yes. I thanked her, but I told her that I didn't want to go to a company that was so disorganized.
Wait time 0/10, I asked for a refund for the lens/glasses within 72 hours of leaving their store because of insurance. They refused a refund. Lady on the phone was rude and not understanding at all. I spent over $500 and can't get a refund. 0/10 for this place. Could not even get the manager on the phone
