Today we officially uninstalled spotify. We use Sonos studio now. Because the ads on Spotify are so disgusting, loud and annoying. Every 2 minutes there starts the spotify ads. Highly recommend uninstall spotify,we don't need this crap.
Where are the Samhain albums? Where is Judas Priest's Jugulator and "All Fired Up"? Where is Deth Red Sabaoth? Where is the remastered version of A Small Deadly Space? Where is the expanded edition of Halford's Resurrection album? This is an outrage, and these are just a few examples!
For the money people pay who for premium we should be allowed to add our music that we have downloaded on our phone to the app, spotify makes it so inconvient to do this, first you ahve to download it to a desktop then some other craziness too much, I may be leaving this app alone
Once I discovered Spotify, my life changed for the better. They really transformed how I listen to music and how I discover new artists. All my favorite songs are on my playlists, and I keep discovering new great ones.
Music is a big part of many people's lives. With people spending more and more time on the internet, online music sources have become increasingly popular. There are a variety of sites. Some of which require payments, and some are not so legal.
On Spotify users can create an account to stream music on a computer. Unlike Pandora, you can select select specific songs, skip songs and make playlists. However, there are some commercials. Another unique feature to Spotify is the newsfeed. Here, you can see what your Facebook friends are listening to. You can also share playlists with friends. It is very user friendly, all it takes to find songs is a simple search.
I love Spotify. I listen to music all the time. I'd listen to music more if I could. Spotify is bae. I love Discover Weekly. I have made way too many playlists on it. Also like being able to see what my friends are listening to. It's just great.
So, for the last 6 months I've tried Spotify instead Youtube, and it looks like they're comparing not whose gonna play better music or stuf like that, no, it looks like they're comparing about whose gonna play more ads! Please do something about those ads.
It is just another scam. Have to pay for no commercials. Youtube has way fewer commercials than Spotify. It is super buggy, made my computer crash every time I started it. I uninstalled it no crashes! Youtube is way better.
I used to listen to music on pandora a lot, but I disliked that I couldn't listen to a specific genre without other genres of music popping up on the station. Spotify allows me to pick a station and listen to music just from that genre or just from a specific artist without worrying that unwanted music is going to pop up. I do not pay for Spotify, I use the free version. I don't mind dealing with the ads or that my playlists shuffles the songs. However, my one complaint is that every once in a while there will be an ad that you're forced to watch and will make everything go quiet if your phone has the screen turned off. For me, who likes to play spotify while driving, it's frustrating since I'll end up driving in silence until I can pull over to get the ad to play so I can go back to music. It's something I put up with since, overall, I do love using Spotify and don't want to waste money for premium just because of one frustrating ad that probably happens maybe once a week.
Spotify is a music app it has every song by evry artist imaginable, but it does requier you to make an account, but it is free, and does not have as many ads as YouTube.
I used to use Pandora, but I was annoyed that I couldn't choose what song to listen to when I wanted. Then a friend told me about Spotify and I decided to get an account and I use it every day now. I didn't buy the "premium" membership because the ads and such don't really bother me and there aren't that many. However, my friend did get premium and she said that it's worth it. I don't think I'll pay for premium but I love Spotify so much because they have a TON of music to listen for free and I save money because I don't have to buy all the music. Or if you do buy music, you can listen on Spotify to see if you really want to buy it. Anyway, I think Spotify is pretty great. Obviously.
Please …. The only place I can listen to hard rap and brown noise at the same time…. I love to make playlists, but I hate when people follow it I'm so scared of the public. I wish they didn't change the heart to a plus sign so I could love my songs instead of just plussing them. Also they never help discover new music that I like- it's always new music that I hate.
I've had Spotify for years and never had a problem until today. At random it logged me out and trying to get back in has been a nightmare. Of course I have a different email and forgot my password so that's not on them but the service they offer while I'm trying to figure it out is ridiculous. They don't have a call center like you'd expect from a huge company that's been around for years and when going to there support site they have you message a robot, needless to say nothing came of that. Not to mention the support site was sloppy, confusing, and difficult to use. When I finally figured out on my own how to create a new account I figured I'd sign up for premium. It's says " you can't upgrade to premium in the app. We know, it's not ideal." Ok… well how can you? Any instructions? Not any I could find. As far as the app goes if all goes well they are great when wanting to listen to music for a decent price. But managing your account or and trying to find help when needed I would give a zero out of ten.
YouTube is better (its free) but if there was no YouTube this would definitely be my main source of music. I gave it 5 stars because there is good music, live radio, and I can make my playlists as long as I want. But if you don't have any money I recommend YouTube but if you overall just want any music with really good quality get Spotify.
I have to listen to more ads than song time only for the song I am waiting to listen to, to not actually be that song!
How is it that I select song A have to listen to 3 minutes of ads go to Artist (whatever) and song (whatever) but it is showing the artist and song I was trying to listen to?
Example: I selected Rob Zombie, Super Beast.
What I got was a random 90's song from Rage Against the Machine. Guerrilla Radio, to be specific.
Do not force me to hear ads then NOT PLAY what I asked for.
Garbage service.
I was a subscriber for years and i was very happy with my subscription, I had a bundle of Hulu and Spotify which was a great deal. 2 days ago I lost my credit card and I had to cancel it, guess what? Spotify canceled my subscription due to being unable to process the payment. They did not put the account On hold not send a warning indicating to update the method of payment on the account. I chatted with a rep and it was useless, they said they did not cancel the account but instead the payment did not went through and CANCELLED the account. The solution is to resubscribe and lose the bundle with Hulu. You cannot make them understand that ir was not my intention to lose my credit card and they could care less. I used to like this app a lot but I am so disappointed that I will not even use the free app, I am switching to other music app.
I'm glad that spotify exists. Because you get top quality music, and you can choose anything you like. Although those commercials sometimes is really pain in the $#*! but oh well.
I don't understand why anyone would give Spotify less than 5 stars. You can pretty much find every song in one place, for free. Pretty awesome if you ask me
I've had Spotify for the past 6-7 years.
The connectivity service in the past 6 months has been extremely poor.
Example: within 1 hour of play time, I get disconnected about 6 times. Requiring me to simply log back into the app and I press play.
As bad as that is, imagine I'm not near my phone to re-play
THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE
IM OUT!
Found another music service that works well
Really bad service when my account got hacked - sure it got hacked at Spotify end as no other email/account/anything on my iphone or mac got compromised... just the Spotify account. Spotify's response? Shut me down, log out all devices, close the account and delete payment details... without tell me or asking me... then asked me to provide payment details again? It's been 2 weeks and still not account access. Their Live Chat rep hung up on me and Spotify have told me that that didn't happen. But rather the chat continued at his end but I must have dropped off. These guys are so contemptuous and rude they seriously don't give a F about you. Every email is answered by a different person... Also they treat musos badly. Don't do it there are other good streaming services out there. Also their account verification system is just 'can you send us a screen shot of the receipt we originally sent you' that's scary in how low-tech it is. If that's how high tech Spotify verifying your account once hacked... then what is their protection like for managing your data/banking details?
Answer: I would try to just use another acunt, but if that does not work then idk how to help
Answer: Do you think I could get you to advertise mine? It was recorded at Sony Records in Nashville, TN.
