Simple functions are not available and disabled on android devices. Very disappointed cannot play my favourite playlist in its original order, can only listen to playlists in shuffle mode on my Android phone. This has been done deliberately by Spotify on all android devices but not on apple or other devices. Very disappointing.
I never had any issues with Spotify so far. I had a free version for a long time and there were just too many ads, so when I upgraded during the big sale for three months, I can't even think of going back to the free one. What's best is that it has those personalized mix playlists and even podcasts.
I love spotify because it recommends music to you based on your listening habits and preferences. It has helped me to find some awesome artists because most musicians have similar artists that you personally are not aware of, but with the help of spotify you will find them and love them because they are quite similar to music that you already like but at the same time a little bit different and fresh. Its especially great with friends because you can create collaborative playlists and share awesome music easily.
Playlists are pointless with the new update. I make a play list, and Spotify plays songs not on the list from the beginning. It will play every couple songs on the list and then the play any random song that is terrible. I'm about to quit Spotify. I'm so disappointed. Pandora was amazing. What ever happened in to that?
My friends list disappeared two months ago. I have tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the program to logging off and back on. I attempted to contact Spotify regarding this issue. Nobody can give me a straight answer and the customer service is just as shoddy. Every few minutes in the chat, a different agent popped in and said they were there to help me. I would respond and another one would pop in. Spotify needs to fix the bugs and work on their customer service.
I never encounter any problems with Spotify. I upgraded my Spotify to premium for months now, and they never failed to notify me about my bill. They always reminds me to pay my Spotify via email or via the Spotify app itself (I used my savings account as a payment method (visa).
I've been a Spotify user since 2007 and I was just simply trying to change a song. I have a premium account. I clicked on the song and they would play a different song, by the same artist. So I kept clicking and they kept playing a different song by various artists. I had no queue.
I've tried a lot of different music services and Spotify is hands down the best bang for the buck! I have yet to find any songs that I like that aren't available and I don't have to worry about using my data when playing music!
I use it for work as well, I'm a massage therapist and I let my patients choose what type of music they want to listen to during treatment. Spotify makes it so easy to find a great mix for anybody's music taste. For $15/mth for a family plan it's a steal!
It's good for people who just want to have noise in the background but not for listening music you want to listen to. If you want to hear a certain song it makes you listen to at least 4 "like songs" until it finally plays the one you searched for. Not user friendly at all. When listening to the music, they want you to listen to their sponsors. I don't mind listening to a sponsor but not for ten minutes at a time.
The inexplicably high price compared to competitors and the reduced functionality do not allow me to enjoy the platform and listen to music. It also does not contribute to the sound quality, which frankly sucks.
I signed up today for the first time with Spotify, and they were offering 30 day free trial for Premium and when I entered in all of my information it stated payment would not go through. So you are offering 30 day free trial but you are lying because you expect payment without following through with your 30 day free trail. When I looked up the customer service number for Spotify I get a number which is located in London UK Spotify customer service phone number
+44 2032 879 990
Customer service is a joke, they connect you to a BOT that is supposed to connect you to a live person, but when they connect you the live person isn't really a live person, it's just a more sophisticated BOT. I have had the service for about 3 years, it's not great, it's barely mediocre. Today was the last time to try customer service, cancelled my account... they don't have a telephone support line either. Going back to "free" music, no sense to pay for something that doesn't have real access to real people.
Spotify so far has been the best choice for music on the go for me. They allow you to download playlist's and listen to them offline for a small fee that is. But it is a reasonable fee and for that I'm grateful for Spotify
I tried Spotify three times and gave it my best, but I just don't like it. I had difficulty every time I tried it. The bottom line was that it just didn't provide variety without repeating in short order.
I want a music service that will work well in the car. I don't want to fuss with anything to stream music while driving. Isn't that the point?
It failed miserably on local errands as well as on the highway. In some instances it would go off on a totally irrelevant tangent, to the extent that the service would go into folk music in a foreign language. Laughable, yes. Like it, no.
In the end is was the gift that kept on giving. Three days into another free trial, I cancelled the subscription, never to return (or so I thought).
I noted the end of the free period in my scheduler and wouldn't you know it, a week later the subscription fee came out of my checking account. So far, Google Play seems pretty darn good.
The premium is the way to go, and definitely worth the money. The option to download the music you listen to directly to your PC/mobile device allows you to still listen to your music without constantly streaming. Music is always current. There are no limits on what you can download or listen to.
If your team reads this, please take note of the following: do not "recommend" music to me, just add it to my playlist and if I like it, then it stays, if I don't like it then it's shouldn't stay. I don't have time to sit and spend one hour creating a playlist, or adding songs to my playlist. We're adults now, please start valuing time again.
They are CONSTANTLY accusing upcoming artists of fraudulent streaming which is why I pulled all of music off of there and will NEVER use them as a platform again.
Here's how it goes: Put your songs on spotify then sooner or later your songs start to get grayed out and are unplayable.
Ask spotify about that, they blame your distributor.
Yeah DUH your distributor removed them or greyed them out because SPOTIFY
Contacted them about bogus streaming by YOU.
So spotify fines your distributor who in turn passes the fines right onto you the artist
So there is really no way to get your music heard or to make any money.
And this is with no concrete proof.
It does not matter which source I use, when I use them or even if I use no source for plays at all.
I NEVER had any problems like this with any other platform.
You can google about this.
And NEVER EVER use any playlists.
Your song(s) get(s) captured and then put on a botted playlist and there you go.
Do what you want, just a GENUINE word to put out there.
The advertisements on this platform are VULGAR, Nasty, disgusting and some are downright DEMONIC. Not to mention the ads for government propaganda. I would NEVER waste one red cent to support this horribly offensive platform. No matter what kind of music you like, they will thrown language at you that should be illegal on the airwaves. Better be quick on the mute button if you have children or care about decency at all.
Spotify is a way to listen to music and include a social networking aspect to it as well. I personally don't like how everything and all sorts of apps and websites are being linked into Facebook, because I don't like "allowing application to post on my behalf." Being that i'm particular about what I post and what shows up on Facebook, that is one downfall for spotify for me. As far as the functionality and music selecting algorithm developed by the site, I'm impressed. There is a great selection of music, it is easy to manipulate and maneuver through the songs, artists and pages. All in all it is a good application with room for improvement and a good presence in networking.
I have been a member of Spotify for over 10 years and have enjoyed their app very much. Sadly recent decisions they have made by standing by comments made on the Josh Rogan show hosted by Spotify has offended me deeply If their stance does not change immediately I will have no choice but to leave and I hope others will do the same.
Answer: I would try to just use another acunt, but if that does not work then idk how to help
Answer: Do you think I could get you to advertise mine? It was recorded at Sony Records in Nashville, TN.
