I purchased a new Sony Bravia TV in 6/2022. The "smart" TV worked fine for 4 months with the added Apps opening and performing well. Then I could no longer access Paramount, Peacock, Disney, and Hulu. After many hours on the phone with Sony support, the "alleged" problem was my Fios Internet provider using an advanced IPv6 and not an older less secure IPv4. They could not offer a software updgrade to fix the issue. So my "smart" TV became dumb overnight. Sony will not replace the TV despite being under warranty. There is a work around -- buy a Roku or other similar streaming service. Obviously this is an unacceptable solution and speaks to a major software flaw in the Sony TV. Avoid Sony.
Ordered a camcorder. It didn't show up by the provided worst case delivery date plus two days. Did a chat with an agent, was told that they don't know why it "stopped processing" but would have a "specialist" call within 1-2 business days. No specialist called. Did another chat, tried to cancel the order was told it could only be canceled within the first 30 minutes. Agent expected I would probably have it in another week. Another week, no package. Sony status still says "processing". Talked to another agent, asked again to cancel the order, she said it wasn't possible. I respectfully pushed the issue asking to escalate to a manager, she just hung up on me (ended the chat in the middle). I can't believe that this is really Sony with such completely horrible service that they can't even tell anyone when an order might ship? I thought for sure that I had accidentally ordered from some fly-by-night company posing as Sony. But no, it is the legit Sony Electronics. I don't know if I will ever receive my order, but I do know that I will certainly never purchase anything directly from Sony again.
What amazing console, got it last week! My previous console was Xbox and I was like that sony never be that great like xbox but I decide to give try. I was very wrong, this is amazing, controllers looks beautiful and very fast, and your game Horizon it's perfect for PS5
Sony refused to repair my TV and deemed as not a viable option. They coerced me into a trade in deal, discounted OLED 77" TV as an option and I was stupid enough to take it.
In less than 6 months, the OLED TV died. Major failure and won't turn on. I have asked for a return and refund the full amount PLUS the cost of the TV which they took. Sony said they can only refund the paid amount as the old TV is gone. Now I'm out of pocket and their Customer Service team is rubbish. I've been calling them everyday for 4 days and they didn't give me a resolution despite being promised to. They also arranged DHL to pick up the OLED TV without my consent.
I've tried now for 4 months+ to retrieve my 2sv codes from support as I no longer have access to my old console. I try to use the online portal which goes in literal circles. I call the Support line and if I press 1 for account help my call is immediately drops. I had to go to the hardware people to have THEM transfer me, the hardware folks were fine, except after she transferred me I was still dropped. I'm so happy to have spent 5 years on their platform building up a library for them to deny me any kind of access to it. At this point I just hope I can save any of you from making the mistake of trusting this company. Save yourself money and broken controllers/walls. Just go buy an Xbox, they probably have a solid enough company to provide at least the bare minimum support, which still dwarves what Sony has done to be helpful.
I bought a car stereo unit which had terrible sound with a very weak bass and silly equaliser controls. A few months later the function switches started playimg up and i was unabe to play radio and cd's!
Worst part is they said its out of warranty but I argued by LAW it should last a few years not months!
Never again will I buy their plastic rubbish.
I bought a Sony Bravia 60 inch and it's Been stuck on standby mode for a month and cannot get it off. I contacted customer care but they are no help they're telling me to buy a new TV well with that being said they should not be selling defective TVs I will never buy a Sony I will go with a Vizio all the way never had a problem with that one sony sucks. And they will not honor their warranty

I just really felt the need to share how incredibly wonderful the Sony Bluetooth speaker model GTKXB90 is. The affects that it had was almost magical; and the changing colorful lights that played to the beat of the music only made it that much better at night. Truly, having it was amazing and made life experiences so much more colorful! It truly is insane to watch the affects that it had. An ordinary day at the beach or park would transform inn such a beautiful way. The level of Euphoria was greatly enhanced and infectious! Families would transform from sticking to their "designated" spots to gathering closer together; and everyone would partake in dancing and laughing; conversations went from strained small talking to sharing intimate moments about where they first heard the song and whatever moments that went with it. And as time went on; it only gets better— people of all ages, sizes, races, classes all grouped together doing the Cupid shuffle! So much laughter and love! Truly blissful moments. A circle of 30 people in the water passing a volleyball and laughing and not wanting to leave because the energy that the speaker puts of is so intoxicating! I hope you guys find some joy in my story that I am about to share with the random purchase that I made when I laid my eyes on your GTKXB90 and how much of a difference having this speaker has affected not just my family but everyone that I share it with. Life is full of surprises and challenges but with music no matter how dark times get it brightens your mood. People would request songs and would thank me for sharing and telling me how much more awesome their day out was with having that music. Asking me where I made the purchase because they enjoyed it so much that they wanted to go get their own! Something so simple is able to light up people from all walks of life! I can't remember how many times I was told I should deejay; and I can't remember how many times we had a flash mob of people doing the Cupid Shuffle together. Kids would form chains and dance around and sing and laugh and never once did it never not spread love laughter and joy! So many smiles and the sound of the laughter that it would bring was priceless.
I bought a Sony XZ2 Compact from AliExpress which failed after three weeks of use. The battery would not accept charge and depleted within hours. Sony have inspected the product and confirmed that it is genuine, but because I did not buy it from a UK retailer they are not interested in either fixing it or providing any compensation. I appreciate legally I have little recourse, but come on Sony - talk about diabolical customer service. I won't be buying another Sony product in my lifetime.
Cheapest on Sony wireless, noise cancellation is the worst. Ear pads are the cheapest of Sony! Your better off buying Sony WH1000XM4
WORST COMPANY EVER. I boguht Sony newly released earbuds. And after just three months the left earbud started to play a wind blowing like noise. Went to their stupid servise but they said this is normal. Worst experince ever
Bought a Sony Bravia TV Model KDL43WF663 from John Lewis in July21. The TV never worked properly. When we finally decided to report it to JL were told it was under Sony's 1 year warranty. For 4 months we are being played between Sony and JL. JL sent 2 engineers to fix the TV to no avail. They just can't figure out what is wrong with it. Sony has cancelled their engineer twice and now is refusing to assist claiming they can only repair if the problem is with the TV panel. No one can tells us what is the problem. We have a TV that has been faulty from the minute we bought it. It came with 5 years warranty but none of the two companies involved is willing to do anything about it. JL has now discontinued this model… wonder why. Every time we call Sony they come up with a different excuse. We have all phone calls recorded and we will be uploading it on instagram and twitter. It's shocking this is allowed to happen. Please don't buy this model. It's an absolute rubbish and you will be left out of pocket.
I needed a Decent Sound Recorder, for legal purposes. I purchased this Sony product, however Sony seems to have disregard for making their software available for LINUX systems. Sony is not the only corporate villain in these regards. So I'm to study their Software and build my own software. I abhor Sony and other corporate players who stand in defiance of consumer freedoms! I don; t have a receipt handy at this moment, but I can prove one if necessary, I purchased my Product at London Drugs in April or May of 2021. Did know I would need the software till this week.
So New credit card all my services update new month and year and 3 numbers on back takes a few seconds. But not Sony pre existing account worked for years do the exact same as all other accounts. Bamn does not work anymore. Sony help send you to bunch of vids that do not solve problem. Worst part they will not give code for an agent live on phone to help.
For the first time ever I bought a new Xbox. All because of your supply and demand marketing ploy to double or triple charge for a console. You all fell off.
So I purchased one of Sonys new OLED (65 in.) TVs back in August 2021. 60 days later, it stopped working, and the fun began. It took me two weeks to finally get someone on the phone who could actually help me. They decided to send me a new TV. When it finally arrived, it was the WRONG TV. Now I've been waiting for another few weeks for them to send the right TV, which they still haven't done. So I've been without my brand new TV for over 5 weeks now. I asked Customer Service if they would be willing to upgrade my OLED to the 77in. TV for all the hassles its taken to resolve this issue. My request was denied. Normally, I buy Samsung, or LG TVs, but I thought I'd take a chance on Sony. Very disappointed.
I purchase Sony Bravia LED 4 years ago, I got problems in it after 2 years continuous. Now from 2 months I also received problem the led don't work so I complaint a service appointment so after 10 days service center man comes and said this part panel is damaged and we mail the company, company gives new panel and otherwise give new LED in replacement I said ok. New panel comes after 20 days and after then the led not working the service center people said panel is correct. Ic or board is not working. We mail the company again it gives confirm replacement. Then after 10 days a man comes from service center and takes the led along with them and said we check the new board I said ok. And today he calls and said no it's not working. We mail the company again see what the company decides replacement or anything. See what the Sony givea to their reliable customers. I and my family becomes very irritated from 2 months. I also said I have no problem for money I please provide replacement ASAP. But the Sony don't even see and care about their customers. So please don't but a Sony product where service is not available. Im facing so much irritation
This is three years after buying a product, unlike the many immediate reviews. Bought a Sony-Zeiss objective for a hefty price tag, but noticed later on that humidity condenses between the lenses and, after evaporating, fogs them until cleaned.
After opening up the thing and cleaning it up, I needed one spare part to restore the objective. Called Zeiss: "Can't help you. Can't provide you with factory number. Go to Sony."
Called Sony: "Can't help you. Go to company X, which handles these in your country."
Company X: "Can't help you. Check out catalogue for spare parts."
Catalogue: "Don't have $#*!."
Another example of bureocratic bull$#*! from three different companies, none of which want to do their thing. Ended up trashing the objective. What pisses me off the most is that the factory number could had been given easily, even tracked on importyeti.com for US imports, but they refused.
Besides all the toxic players on here it's pretty fun I hated seeing playstations own players on there Instagram commenting on there pride post "get this gay $#*! off here" or "I'm going to xbox now" like we should come together and be a unit
