I ordered a $140 in-dash radio and installed it. The display was dim even when in the garage. I tried everything in the manual to get it brighter but nothing helped. I contacted the customer service department and was told to send it to them and they would take a look at it for me. He suggested several radios that would be similar to the bad one and I sent the radio to them. One week later I get an email that said the radio checked out fine and that I need to pay them $40.00 for them to ship it back and the cost for looking at it. At no time did they mention that there would be a cost for them to "look" at it. If I would have known that I wouldn't have sent it back. I assured them that there must be something wrong with it and that I wouldn't go through all of this just for the heck of it. They said that is their policy and that was that. These are the last people you should buy anything from they have NO respect for their customers. Since then I have looked at the Kenwood KMM-BT515HD on Google and the complaints are in the hundreds for having a display that is unreadable in other than complete darkness. I am going to the local Best Buy and pick out a simple radio and I am done with it.

This is my first time purchase and it went perfectly. Quick delivery and exactly what I ordered. Certainly will continue to use Sonic Electonix.
After extensive research found an amplifier I liked. They also carried the LC7i I wanted at a price $60 lower than everywhere else, and a set of RCA 4 channel cables. Ordered these.
Problem 1. Input a coupon code from their own website (saving 15% or about $37), but it failed to register. Had to phone a rep to resolve it. He fixed the problem, then advised me to pay through PayPal to avoid any further problems.
Problem 2. Later that evening I got an email from them saying they refuse to send my order untilI phone them again and verify my address. What happened to PayPal avoiding problems? I went to their website to check my account. Address was correct. I blew it off, assuming it was a hiccup.
Problem 3. The next day got the same email again asking me to phone them.
Problem 4. Okay, I tried to phone them, but after 10 min on hold I gave up.
Problem 5. About 4 hours later I tried phoning them again, hoping for less traffic, but again gave up after 10 min on hold.
Problem 6.3rd call next day my phone hung up on its own after 6 min on hold.
Problem 7.4th call next day after 9 min on hold got a message saying I was 9th in queue, gave up.
Rang credit card to cancel charge, ordered products from other merchants. Website / acct showed my items still in cart, not sent 4 days after paying.
Problem 7. Day 5, got an email saying they had sent my stuff. Unbelievable.
I always but my car audio from Sonix, they have the best customer service, and best deals hands down!
I ordered from Sonic Electronix, I bought a 8in enclosed Rockford Fosgate subwooferfor like 280.00 once I got it installed you could tell that there was something wrong. I think you had problems with the wiring somewhere inside of it sound would go off and on the bass would go on and off and be distorted so I immediately contacted Sonic Electronix. I called customer support waiting on hold for 25 minutes the first time it was told very rudely that I need to get a return number so I started that process once that process was started it told me that I was had to wait for my return number and it would be emailed to me 4 days goes by nothing I called again and waited on the phone for another 20 minutes talk to some lady. I also put a correspondence in online through Sonic Electronix website. I was told by the way there's nothing I can do till I got a return number to the returns department and then my correspondences was answer the next day telling me that would not get a refund and I would have to return it and maybe to get credit or another one in replacement I got him with the customer service how long I had to wait and then it becoming broke I didn't want nothing else from them the rude the products suck and it take forever to get go anywhere else but them and you'll do better off

Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
