I love Softmoc weather you go in person or online, it is a great customer experience. Now they even offer payment plan through their website, so that you can pay off with 4 payments which is so great! With my last order I actually had a $40 Reward that I could use toward purchase. They are just awesome.
Poor customer service. SoftMoc does not care about their customers. No help from representative nor the rep's manager. Unable to return boots that ran small. Would not allow to ship return as across border. Will never look at another SoftMoc item again.
I bought the Muse boots, treated them 3 times with Soft Moc's "waterproofing" spray and after wearing them 4 times my socks around my toes were completely wet after walking in slushy snow in a couple of parking lots for no more than a few minutes while doing errands getting in and out of my vehicle. It's not even like I was going for a long walk in snow. What's the point of boots if your feet get wet?
Bought a pair of vans skate shoes online at Softmoc. After about 1 month of light use, the soles started coming away from the shoe. As per instructions on their website, I took them to the local store at seven oaks shopping centre in Abbotsford. The store manager rejected the return and said that these shoes are not for everyday use, a claim that is not stated on either the Softmoc website, or on the Vans website. I tried contacting their "customer service" online and they said that it's normal wear and tear. These shoes are 1 month old. This is disgraceful customer support and a shameful management approach.
Don't waste your time or money with softmoc sheepskin slippers. I go a pair for Xmas & within 3 months they look in worst shape than my UGGS that I've had for 2 years. The staff at the Red Deer, Alberta location are so rude I will not go in there.
When a website claims that online returns are free, Softmoc lied. I contacted their customer service to complain about a pair of defective $64 slippers. Softmoc asked me to return them by mail at my expense, and they would determine whether or not they were defective once they received them. $ to purchase, $ to return them and $ to get them back. Expensive slippers! Horrible customer service.
Ordered a pair of sandals, 130$ before taxes. Tried them on when they arrived by mail, too big even though my size! Wore them 2 minutes, TOO BIG. They returned them back to me saying they were worn. Wrote to explain, nope, they maintain the shoes were worn and that is that! Now stuck with expensive shoes that don't fit. ******* is my order number incase Softshmuck give a crap!
Soft moc has the worst customer service ever! Managers don't deal with the problems arising and they try to SCAM people out of their money and rights! I bought an Ugg that was deemed defective by Ugg company and the company asked me to take it back to softmoc (where originally purchased) for an exchange as it was still within the 90 days and they have refused to do anything about it, not an exchange nor anything. Paid $120 for it and basically it is unwearable. Worst company to deal with and their personnel are even worse
Been shopping with softmoc a few years already, before pandemic instore mostly but decided to use online option and result is the same. I got nice pair of sandals for this summer. Maybe some delay from customer support stuff
I was in the Conestoga mall in Waterloo yesterday in Soft Moc to look at sneakers. The service was terrible. All the sales clerks were young men. There were maybe three or four of them supposedly working but one was busy on his cell phone, two were busy talking to young girls. They spent a lot of time in the storage room talking and laughing. I had three shoes in my hands wanting to try on. After about 10 min of waiting a young fellow came out and asked if I wanted help. He came back out with two boxes of shoes and handed them to me. I had shopping bags and a purse so it was hard to carry the boxes. When I opened the boxes one of them only had one shoe in it. I did notice that everyone trying shoes on were not getting help. I put the shoes on the floor and walked out. While I was in there another woman asked the woman on the till if she was the manager. She told the manager that she was being ignored. The manager was overwhelmed and flustered. I will not be returning to this store
Website says 1 day express shipping. Product never came, won't give me back my $$ until they investigate? That's really unfair. Out my money and no shoes. Do not order from them ever!
Horrible experience. Never again. Customer service is terrible, they do not care at all. They repeat the same excuse over and over again with different wording
The worst costumers service ever! Due to trying to fix some issues about a pair of Uggs purchased 3 weeks ago for $170. Ripped in 3 weeks it's insane how they are ripping off costumes and no warranty for their products and their rudeness is just ridiculous and Unprofessional.No quality only quantity and this is not fair! They don't even help me out with the manufacture contacts numbers or address for me to be able to get in touch with someone about my issues! The male manager from the store which is located at Devonshire Mall in Windsor Ontario ( SoftMoc) he was very,very rude with me he don't even provide me with any information about the manufacture place or who to contact with my issue and he ignored me completely saying to step away and he ask the next costumer in line. He was so disgusting and disrespectful,he's not supposed to work with a customers at all with this kind of attitude, I'm so disappointed and disgusted! Check out the pictures posted and the date on the receipt! This is how it should be look a pair of Uggs boots after 3 weeks of purchase? …. And was worn for few times only due to mild weather,we don't even have snow or ice in this 3 week's it's a very very poor quality and the price is ridiculously high. UI: was on sale at the time of purchase!
I was in Edmonton international Airport softmoc. I was treated horribly by Rose and Megan. I hate softmoc now and have a really hard time going to any of there locations due to this.
We bought crocs from SoftMoc less than a week ago, they broke and SoftMoc in Oakville Place has refused to help us and told us to reach out to Crocs directly
Although the products they offer are good and quality, the customer service is terrible and it is obvious that they need to improve it as soon as possible.
I have been shopping with SoftMoc for many, many years, in-store and online. I like that they have a wide variety of brands that they offer and their shipping/delivery time is incredible! I purchased something recently from softmoc.com and received same day shipping! It's amazing.
I've always received the items I paid for and never had issues with items not being the right size as I usually play it safe and buy shoes from brands I'm familiar with. I will say that in-store shopping isn't as awesome as shopping with them online and I usually just order online.
The main reason for that is because almost every store I've ever been to is understaffed and anytime I just need to ask a question it's difficult because they typically only have one representative manning the cash register as opposed to someone walking around to assist customers. That can be tricky seeing as their shoes are all display and you need someone to go and get the shoes you want to try on from the storage room.
That might seem pretty minuscule on the scale of things retailers might do that seem unappealing, but for someone like myself who has severe social anxiety it sucks to have to stand in line at the cash register just to ask the person for some shoes to try on and I've been forced to do that at multiple SoftMoc stores.
Aside from their brick and mortar stores being understaffed, SoftMoc is a great company and I will continue to purchase items online!
Very poor costumer service, I have bad experience With them, and I had friends who had same issues with their poor costumer service, they treat people like a garbage.
"Beware of this awful company. Had an awful in store experience at carlingwood. Associates there avoid customers and i spoke to each of them since they kept walking away to tidy shoes or do nothing instead of helping a customer. Of you ask for a name they let you know they don't give names or wear tags. So we can't even address the associates as human beings. Despite them not having a good price adjustment policy within a few days of purchase I was more appalled by there awful in store service. Especially since it was the store manager I last spoke with who also refused to give a name just that she was the manager. My partner and I left and bought online instead. We contacted customer service to let them know of our experience and ask some follow up questions. Their associate let me know she was an assistant manager and couldn't answer all my questions. She offered a coupon and said she would have her manager contact me by phone. Instead I get a horribly rude email from a male rep stating they answered all my questions and provided a coupon. I tried advising again the rep could not answer all my questions and I would like the coupon honored on my purchase that had not shipped yet. The rep again responded aggressively and rudely stating I could not have the coupon honored on worn products. The item hadn't even shipped yet! I submitted a BBB complaint and shockingly they allowed that same rude rep to aggressively and rudely respond the same way. The BBB agent handling it was also surprised. The resolution asked for was to honor a coupon or call me. Company wouldn't do either. Honestly worst customer service I've ever seen. BBB is more than happy to post the issue and their rude response for all to see, since they dont seem to care how they respond to customers. I recommend submitting complaints there to help wake this company up. Also, the CEO is on LinkedIn
