My package is lost, I'm on my 3rd customer service representative and no one can help me. I will never use them again. Shutter fly was always fantastic and reliable I don't know why I ever switched. I will go back to using them from now on.
I uploaded the photos and arranged them in the photobook onscreen and it looked great - what came in the post was shocking! The photos looked really awful - some very dark, some with very deep, bold colours others too bright... so bad. I love taking photos, these were my best but this photobook made me look like a rubbish photographer. I'm seeking a refund, however they have offered me a credit note to redo the photobook myself on their website - but why would it come out any different when it looks fine onscreen when I do it.
In 2000 I order prints from Snapfish of my trip to Israel. They came back great! However, in June 2015 I, again, ordered prints from Snapfish of my trip to Italy. When I was placing the online order, their website said that if you order 4 x 6 prints they will be cropped. But the digital 4 x 5.3 sized prints would not be. Since I didn't want my pictures to be cropped, I ordered the 4 x 5.3 sized prints.
They came back cropped -- and off-center to boot! They looked horrible. Customer service told me to purchase Photoshop and crop and edit my pictures myself before ordering them from Snapfish. Why should I do that?! I specifically didn't want cropped pictures!
While Snapfish's pricing is reasonable, their product is horrible! Don't order photos from Snapfish!
The new format is difficult to navigate. When I finally found the pic I wanted, I had no way to change the size. Maybe it's me, but I am pretty good at navigating stuff like this, but I have given up.
One order of a print on wood took 3 tries befor we got one undamaged. Also on two other oders their site would not take my credit card. The message said for me to contact my credit card company. I did and they had no clue what the issue was. The customer service was bad... i decided to use Walmart... no more snap fish
I made an order of my portfolio to get into GRAD school after some website gave them raving reviews. Really regretting that decision now. The order is still in process long after it says it would have arrived according to the website. The customer service is painful as you can only talk to people online halfway around the globe. There is no number you can call, and the people on the chat always have the same responses. I almost wonder if they are autobots?
As a frequent user of the old Snapfish website today I attempted to make a photobook and all the photo editing options are not available. It is difficult to navigate and has removed many of the best features and the reason I used the site regularly.
Unless they can reinstate the features enjoyed in the old website I will be looking for new software for making photobooks.
Very very disappointing
I used to love snapfish - I have had nothing but problems. When I try to resolve them Customer Service has been terrible. When I log into my photos the web page isn't formatted. I cant' edit the pictures. My daughter shares her pictures and I can't see them. It is one issue after another. Customer service says they are known issues - but after weeks they still aren't resolved!
New site is way too confusing, find it difficult to upload photos other than one at a time I do not like or know how to drag them! I'm making a mess with multiple albums with same pics. Im completely fed up. If I don't get this thing I will say the hell with it and go with one of the other big sites. Hell with this they had a good site. Outside of the option of multiple devices I don't see why the change. I HATE IT
I ordered the tiles. While doing the layouts for several tiles for numerous photos, I was happy. But then I got the order and more than half of the photos were deleted and instead of 4-7 photos per tile, there was only 4 pics per tile. So the gift was pretty much trash bcuz several key photos were missing. When I contacted them I was told only 4 photos per tile. Yet in my saved projects, there are several tiles with up to 7 photos each tile. So if I would have ordered my saved project then more than half of the photos would have been deleted as well. My order was just as I laid them out but not what I received so it's a Bait and Switch to me. I spoke to 2 separate people with company and both basically did nothing to try to correct the situation. And the shipping was 3 times the cost of the order. I guess the great price cost me my sister's present and a lot of my time.
Ordered Christmas cards & prints. Previewed everything before I ordered and it looked perfect. Got my order & the right edge of my cards were chopped off, 1 print had the top parts of our heads chopped of and another print had half my hair chopped off. I contacted them including pic attachments via email and they stated I have to be sure to preview my order before submitting it like it was my fault. The preview was perfect when I submitted my order. The problem is on their end! I will not be using them again and will make sure to spread the word. And why is there no customer service number!?!?!?
I spent all morning ordering tiles that were on sale for 1.99. When I put the deal in the order was 40 but the shipping was 61 and change. The tiles were actually $5 a piece and they wouldn't let me select a cheaper shipping and get it after Christmas. I call BS. Those tiles are not even heavy. I will say the quality is good but the deal was crap. They should have had a shipping selection for after Christmas.
I have made over 30 photo albums using Snapfish in the past several years, all very satisfactory quality and the site was very easy to use. This "new" site, however, is TERRIBLE. I would quit it today except that I have old projects on the site and have been trying to reorder a recent album to no avail. The online help is abysmal. The helper seems to give pat answers and does not know how to diagnosis nor direct me to the appropriate solution. This is about my 8th or 9th time trying in two months or more to use the site and I cannot imagine why they are not fixing all of their issues, one of which is to tell me to download Adobe Flash Player but it is already installed on my computer. Not one of the helpers has been able to give me a satisfactory answer to how to deal with this impediment. Ugh! SO disappointing and unprofessional. Maddening, really.
I placed order and two weeks latr I received half of it. The prints still haven't arrived and there is nobody to speak to in the customer service department. I wouldn't be as disturbed if I didn't spend an hour trying to find someone to help me track down my photo prints. I am passionate about customer service and this was just not a good experience. There are too many competitors out there for snapfish to be my preference.
Classic Bait and switch tactics to sell their Christmas cards. Some cards it says starting at $1, $1.10 or $2.65. So I pick a card that is $1 upload my picture put on text when I get to the cart it changes to $1.85 each. So I chat and the agent tells me it's higher because I changed from 20 to 40 cards. Not the right answer. Then says it's a site price that is wrong & they are working to correct it. Wants to give me credit of 20 cards on my next order. I said no want the $1 price. He would not do that so I called. The supervisor was to email me to resolve my issue the phone person said I could not talk to him he was busy. They did not email me. Like I said they show you 1 price then you get to the cart & it's now $1.85 instead of $1.
I ordered a 16X20 canvas print. The canvas was applied rotated clockwise on frame so black edges appeared at corners. This is the same problem I got printing at Walgreens. They likely use the same printing machine.
I guess I should have read the reviews before submitting my Christmas Card order. Not only do I not have my cards that I ordered on Dec. 12 but I was charged for the order. The phone # doesn't work and I was 560 in a queue(should have been a clue) and when I finally got a "live chat" he informed me I didn't even have an order and then we weirdly got disconnected. I don't know if I am going to get cards or not and I want to order from someone else before Christmas is over but I have been charged. I want my money back.
They took away a credit that I had that had an expiration of 12/31/2050. Took me 3 calls to get some of the credits back, but they stated this one was a system glitch. Very disappointed that they did nothing to correct a wrong.
I have ordered a few photobooks to be printed and have been very happy with the results. I have also ordered the glass photo frames, mouse pad, customized pillows and mugs. Very satisfied with results. Will definitely be ordering more products when required. Cheers.
