I absolutely agree with all others... The new site is ridiculous. All the previous projects are lost. I was making a photobook and spent hours on it. Had no prior notice and all gone! I chatted to some one called Nagesh from customer services who just offered apologies saying as the photos are still there, just make a new project! Do these guys understand how much time it takes to make a project and what about the old ones? We should have been given prior notice so could have saved our projects... It is so frustrating and am feeling furious. Will no longer use their website and do not recommend it to anyone. Who knows next they will delete our photos and albums too without any prior notice, better save and order with someone more reliable.
I've been a customer of Snapfish for many years now and the recent upgrade has made my existing albums almost unviewable as whereas before you could view your photos in an album, spread over different pages, now they are all on one page, so it takes ages to load them up, if they load properly, which mine don't.
Then there is the uploading problem - it takes ages to load more than about 3 photos at any time. I have just about given up trying to upload my recent photos so I could get them all printed off.
I put together a 140 page photobook and ordered 3 copies -- at a cost of over $400 for the group of 3. When the books arrived, I realized that I had made a mistake -- some of the text boxes had a colored background that obscured the photos that the text box overlapped. This was clearly my own mistake -- I should have noticed it when I reviewed the book before finalizing my order (just as Snapfish tells its customers). I texted with customer service and asked for a chance to redo the books because I did not realized that some of the text boxes had colored backgrounds. After escalating my request to a higher level of review, I was informed that I could reorder the entire set of 3 books (and keep the original discount that I had gotten on the books). I only had to pay for new shipping (a total of $21 for all three books). I corrected the mistake and got the new books promptly. I am a very happy customer indeed.
Have used Snapfish regularly & often and been happy in the past. However that has changed. I spent several hours recently putting together a 40 page Photobook of an Australian trip. I put it my Cart but was awaiting a 50% discount before ordering as it was expensive. I then went to order it but it had GONE from my cart and Projects. Have been emailing but all I get are illiterate emails full of platitudes. Was at least reassured that the photos I used were still uploaded to an Album so if necessary would have to do the book again but today even they have now disappeared. Hours of work for nothing. Not good enough Snapfish.
Positive is a great product/service but -10 for shipping/timeliness and customer service. So +1 is TOO much!
My completed order has been sitting in OH (it's destination state) for FOUR day and is set to deliver in SEVEN more days, totally inexcusable when I paid $12 for shipping. Get off your lazy a$$ and take care of your loyal customers! Very, VERY disappointed!
I have used this company for years and every order has been perfect. All the photos from my iPhone plus the photos from every order I ever made are there. You can edit and crop and order with either a matte or shiny finish. They always have specials and I have framed and sold many of my photos. I had blankets made and other speciality items and they were perfect.
The email that was linked to the account was $#*! down after being hacked multiple times. I am now unable to access my sons baby pics and the account because I am unable to reset the password as I can't access closed email. Their customer service was terrible and all of my sons baby pictures are now theirs as I can't gain access to them at all. It's very sad that there is nothing they can do to rectify this situation. I would never use their service for anything.
I was a loyal customer for a long time to this company. However, in the past month, I have placed two orders which I did not receive, one of which I paid extra for so that I could receive it by a certain date. I was given a tracking number for the first order but the tracking stopped at some point and it was lost. I had to call to have it reprinted. The second order, which I wanted expedited shipping for was never even created! I have now called and was told the best they could do is another seven days if they reprint the order. I am waiting to hear if they will credit me the expedited shipping cost I paid.
Title says it all. Snapfish is notorious for losing uploaded pictures and albums although they claim they have multiple image back-ups. Use this company if you want to waste your time and lose your pictures and albums after a few years.
One picture was just red.
Most are blurry.
I use a canon SL3 and a 48mpx phone camera.
They aren't bad pictures, just bad printing.
I needed proof of injuries for a medical thing and they're pretty much un-usable. The colours are almost all way off.
Really inconsistent, so you can't depend on them.
I customized four mugs for gifts. When I received them, the images were barely visible and two were blurry. The packaging and deliver and the quality of the mugs was great. Two chat agents did not help me as to what I could do regarding returning merchandise or refunds and one said I would receive an e-mail (I did not) and one disconnected our call. I called the customer service rep and was told was told they would make it right if I paid shipping on the re-orders. I refuse to do business with this company again.
They'll give you okay photos for a cheap price. Sure, they will overexpose some of them. Sure, you may pay for an 8x10 photo and it comes to your mailbox all bent and crumpled. They'll fix it, right? Wrong. You'll go into an online chat with some person in India who is apparently trying to help 100 other people at the same time. You'll sit and wait for 5-10 minutes at a time to get any response at all. When the response comes, it will be a canned response. He's just clicking on pre-typed replies to keep you quiet. If you're very lucky--and I was not--he'll actually remember what your complaint was, or what he said he was going to do. If you're like me, you'll waste an hour like this and then hang up in frustration, vowing to never use Snapfish again.
I ordered two sets of picture prints from this site. I received my orders and was charged the appropriate amounts. However, when my bank statement arrived today, the charges for these two orders were listed on my statement as "Recurring Card Purchase" and the phone number listed next to this vendor is a non-working number. I tried to contact the company via live chat. They never would give me a phone number and couldn't explain "Recurring" card purchase. Bank says this allows them to continue to be paid by me whenever they feel like it... I have seen a scam like this once before years ago. My card is cancelled per my request. Be careful because I do not think this is a legitimate deal. Beware...
I am hoping the problems are going to get fixed soon! I have lost all photos before 2005 and some of my albums don't load all of the photos. The website is slow and very hard to create projects. Please fix the problems, I have been a loyal customer since 2004!
I ordered a few hundred photos from Snapfish, and almost all of them were horrible quality. A lot of the photos didn't even have coloring in them. Will not be ordering from them again. Very disappointing.
I placed an order for my iPad photos which I paid for. Later in the evening I placed an order which took 3 hours for my phone photos. They then took money for the previous order again as well as the second order. Customer service refused to refund the money and would only give me 100 print credit. They kept rushing me and saying they would cut the chat. I will never use them and do not recommend them.
I am surprised by the negative reviews on this site. I bought holiday cards from them a couple of times and they were all amazing. The photo printing looks very clear. They do cost more than Costco, but I was able to use the 75% off coupon found online, which brings the price down by a lot. I decided to go with Costco this year and Costco was a lot cheaper in price and quality. The pictures are not as clear. Snapfish also allows MANY options to customize the photo to which Costco does not. Definitely should give SNAPFISH a chance. Try making a card and see on how much customizations and card types you can do. There is so much more to choose from than other stores. I am just bummed out seeing the bad reviews on here when I bought from them a couple of times already and they all have been great!
This is my first time ordering from Snapfsh. In the past I have used Shutterfly or a local store for Christmas cards. Looks this year lie my family and friends won't be getting cards. My cards were to be printed at Walmart. Well, I've been waiting, days AFTER Snapfish said the order was completed. Walmart says they are unable to look into what orders are queued up. I understand that Walmart may have had a large amount of printing to do. However, Snapfish SHOULD NOT be contracting with a company that is incapable of handling the volume. And calling customer service is not an option as their numbers are no longer valid. You can wait in a chat queue for 1+ hours, but they are USELESS. Does Snapfish have no shame? Back to local printing or Shutterfly.
I asked for help with some blankets I was working on and the guy on chat put in an order for 6 blankets without my authorization and charged them to PayPal without my authorization! Over $530! Tried to get help, but there is no one you can literally talk to. Just chat help which is no help. They lie and say a supervisor will get back with you but will not give you any time frame. The supervisor is supposedly going to email you to resolve the issue but they never do. It is a maze of lies and dead ends. Do not order from Snapfish it is a Con. I cannot stress enough to never ever shop with them.
I have SEVERAL albums in Snapfish divided by Month and year - took me forever but it helps when I am looking for a specific picture! With the new website design, all of my pictures have been rearranged based on the day I uploaded them! What? Who uploads the pictures the day that the event happened! Run around from Snapfish that said nothing can be done no their end... oh but they gave me a free photo book for the hours of work that I am about to do to correct their issue!
On to another site - hoping to not have to deal with this again!
Answer: I hate snapfish after my Christmas card debacle so I can't help... I'm thinking SHUTTERFLY?
