The worst costumer crevice. They promised they would have my confirmation in 1 hour, but when I called back 3 hours later, they told me the reservation is not available at the price and now it will cost me $90 more. It actually was last minute flight reservation.
Total scam! Do not go for their chip price. You will pay more at the end! Never have business with them!

They offer you great prices get your credit card info and send you a confirmation #. Then they will send you another email a few hours later saying there was a problem, you must call immediately. This is where they try to UPSELL you to pay hundreds more for the same flight or a new one. Don't use this site.

The next day you will receive an email to call them immediately because they were unable to confirm your flight. When you call them back, they will try to sell you another flight at a much higher price.

They are manipulative and have a very harsh sales techniques, they make you think you are paying small amounts then they add more amounts to the bill, be very careful when you are looking at the final amount you are paying, cause they will add costs without you realizing. Smart fares are big SCAM and are big thieves.
My friends and I booked a Galapagos trip through this company and didn't figure out our tickets were canceled until we got to the airport that morning. We were completely screwed because all of the other flights to the islands were already booked. We had no reservation under our names and the company didn't bother to tell us until we called them to ask why we couldn't get on our flight. Long story short, don't book with them unless you want to lose thousands of dollars. Pay the extra to book directly through the airlines.
Do no buy with this company. They book me trough Delta, and the airline had the news to rebook me due to the long waiting lines in TSA and we went through hell. The desk attendant bin Delta told me she has never seem that many restrictions and could no even verify the correct information in the sistem. No to add if you call them they verily speak English and are very very rude.
They charged extra fee $270 to change flight date without my permission! I said I want to use another credit and it wasn't disconnected. And I thought it is just hold. But they already changed flight date and charged $270 from my bank account. She was supposed to hold because I didn't give any permission to charge. This agent is so suck, please do not use this agent!
It is just a scam dont ever use it, all the flight searching engine should remove it from the list

Offer coupon codes but then say oh it doesnt apply to yours because it doesnt have any stops. And when you call them out on there BS they hang up on you.

Flight from ODS to LED, with a stop in Minsk, got to their website from aviasales, where they had a price $180. After I didnt receive a ticket info to my email, I've contacted support(was waiting for chat response several hours), and they told me, that I need to pay exttra $79, since now they are able to sell me only for such price, but my card was already charged! Also they proposed me to have a flight from KIV(another country). I told - no, please make me a refund and asked for a refund time. The answer was 2-3 business days! So these guys just took my money for 3 days? Awesome! After that I asked: can I receive the dialog with support to my email - no, I cant. Also the support asked, why I gave a bad rate to the dialog, and then closed it by herself! AND TODAY, THEY STILL HAVE TICKETS FROM ODS TO LED FOR $181 FOR THE SAME DAY! THIS IS FRAUD! Suggest never to use their services.
Smartfares are nothing but opportunistic, dishonest, financial predators! I will never use them again. I needed to make a change to my ticket and they charged me $650 USD, where if I had booked through the airline directly, I would only have had to pay approx $70 to make the same change(confirmed by South African Airways). They claimed that most of the $650 was the fee charged by the airline, when thst wasn't the case at all. This is definitely a company to stay away from. Some of the others, like GoToGate, are ok and honest. I once had to make a change through GoToGate, and even though I didn't pay for the free changes option, they still gave me a reasonable fee. Smartfares has no soul. My husband had a heart attack and the doctors have not cleared him to travel. I called Smartfares to see if they would do something, but they say they can't. I called United Airlines and they can't do anything because Smartfares is the ticketing agent. I called Smartfares again, and now they say I can pay $75/person to cancel, then pay $140/person when I rebook, plus any additional fare changes. They say they cannot do anything about this. This isn't true. They REFUSE to do anything about it. DO NOT BOOK ON THEM. Learn from my mistake. It's not worth saving a few dollars, go with another reputable travel agency.
The company hides the real info about the flight not even disclosing it after purchase. We bought the economy ticket for a mid range price from them, it turned out that we had to pay for the baggage separately and it was the cheapest basic economy class. Literally they made tons of money on us. Be careful. I checked the reviews about the company after purchasing the ticket which wasn't refundable with this company.
They suck run and run. I called to change a earlier reservations to earlier time for two passengers. And they wanted to charge. 200 each for time change plus fees of price change. I called the airlines directly and they can get me 75 each for change my flight. I paid 150 flat free for two. So never I again I will Porsche through smart fare they sucks. I give then a try and never again. And we travel a lot. As we are time share owners. Hope this help.
Yesterday Purchased ticket online for $1,472.59 CAD in total including taxes. I got a bill of $1,550.16 CAD.
1. They overcharged me.
2. They never contacted me if the price change. I could have bought a ticket from another website.
3. Other websites are still offering less what they had charged.
4. Try to contact on their numbers, but the calls were busy.
5. Online Chat tool does not work either.
What they did is unethical, unprofessional, and considered theft.
Service is horrible!, Do not use this company!, I had to buy a new ticket(from someone else). Use a reputable site or book directly with the airlines. You will get the same fare if you book direct with the airlines and your ticket will be valid.
