Stole my money!

I paid $3163. 37 for tickets to Zurich before the pandemic. I wanted a refund but was only offered $2379. 37. After reading reviews and talking to them, I felt uneasy about this company & took the loss. They still shorted me $78 and have been incredibly rude these 3 months I have tried to work with them to get my full (and still low) refund. I am now just opening a case with my credit card company & will eventually get it back. This company is BAD news. Book through the airline & stay away!

These people refused to give me my refund after they lied to me for months and months that the airline is working on my refund. Then I emailed Isa Mohammed and he/she emailed me back saying that they have already refunded my money and they cant be able to open my ticket. How much did they refund me $ 400 when I spent over $3400 of tickets. Shut them down! Don't buy tickets from them you will regret big time.

FRAUD!
June 10, 2021

FRAUD! Bought an Air Canada flight with Skybooker as travel agent. Flight was canceled due to COVID-19. Air Canada agreed to a full refund. I contacted Skybooker for a refund via email. They responded with an email where employee, Randy Thomas, requested a $200 fee per person for the refund to be granted and requested partial credit card details. This did not sound appropriate so I called Skybooker and requested a refund over the phone. They granted it immediately with no request of fees. It is my belief that this employee is attempting fraud to gain personal funds from those seeking refunds at this time. I have contacted Skybooker directly by phone x 4 and requested to speak with management each time about these concerns. No one has been available and no one has called me back as requested. I am concerned this fraud is wider spread than just this one employee.

These guys are crooks. Stay away. We had our 2021 flight canceled due to Covid and they only refunded $3,795 (63%) when the airlines refunded them $6,031. They refuse to answer my calls or emails. Do yourself a BIG favor and go elsewhere for your tickets.

DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

I bought 4 tickets through skybooker.com for $6,022.60. The flight was cancelled due to the
Pandemic. In January of 2021, Air Canada refunded their portion ($3,499.08) but Skybooker did not refund their profit ($2,523.52).
I contacted them several times (emails and calls) in the following months to ask for the rest of my money. They kept telling me that my refund was being processed and that I would have to wait a little longer. Finally, on
July 7th, 2021 they admitted that they would not be refunding me the $2,523.52 for the cancelled flight because I bought discounted tickets and they were non-refundable. THE FLIGHTS WERE CANCELLED! By this logic, what is stopping them from selling tickets to flights that don't even exist? How do they get away with this?
Don't give your money to these scammers. Pay the extra money and buy your tickets directly from the airline.
PS - They also go by Farestore.com. Avoid them both

Skybooker is a complete scam. I was given a $700 credit because of a flight I had to cancel due to covid. But when I booked a new flight they said I could only use what turned out to be about half of the credit. The excuse was that the new flight was a different flight "class", so I asked could they get me a flight with the same flight "class" so I could use my full credit. Anyway, after numerous calls and emails and getting absolutely nowhere I eventually gave in to reduce the frustration and stress. Basically I presume they just pocketed half my credit. I obviously will never use them again and just wanted to warn others about their shady dealings. Skybooker and "Airfare Experts" who is another name they go under are complete crooks and should be avoided at all cost.

THEY ARE A SCAM

I had a flight cancellation due to covid-19 related reasons and over 3 months in, I'm still yet to receive the partial refund from them. Every time I try to reach out to them, they are dodgy and unresponsive unlike the time I spent my money on buying the plane tickets (they are extremely responsive then). They will take your money and then ignore you when you need the customer service that you're entitled to. Please avoid this company, they are under a few different names. One of the name is Destinaholidays. DO AVOID AT ALL COST.

This travel agency has been holding back my money, refusing to help me with rebooking and charging me extra for service fees. After having to rebook a flight due to Covid, trying to get back from Europe to Canada they refused to help and told me that my airline is responsible. The airline told me several times that it is the travel agency that is legally obligated to help. No word, no response. The travel agency does not deserve to be called a travel agency. It appears that they are deliberately trying to hold back money from their customers. I can only hope that karma will come their way sometime. Nobody should ever book with this company

First it takes them months to reply, if they want whatso ever. For past two year I am trying to get refund but the skybooker tell me to contact airline (Emirates) and the airline tells me to contact skybooker. I am submitting a complain now to Canada transportation agency.

The flight we were booked on to Australia for Apr. 12 - 25 has been cancelled by Virgin Australia (as are all of their international flights until June 14). Virgin Australia said they are issuing refunds for all cancelled flights but because we booked through a third party we have to get our refund from the site we booked through, however, skybooker.com is refusing to refund our purchase. Unfortunately, it seems that we will have no choice but to seek legal action.

Cancelled our reservation without even informing us, I only found out when I tried logging into my booking. When I finally got through to them (after numerous phone calls and emails), they proceeded to lie about the flight still being scheduled to not issue a full refund. Absolutely do not use them.

I'd give zero stars if I could. This company is full of thugs. They rob your money, turn off their phone and don't answer emails. Flights cancelled by airline, I was told to wait 10 weeks for a refund and still no sign of my money. Company is now gone mute when I look for an update. Thugs! Pay the extra bit and book with someone else. This company is a disgrace.

I attempted to book a flight to Germany. After selecting my flights and providing all of my information I was informed there were no seats available at the advertised price. I then received an email confirmation for $0. Four days later I received a email confirmation that I was in fact booked on the flight to Germany and my credit card was charged over $1200. Not a good experience.

I booked a flight with them because they had good prices but its not worth it. I started getting a lot of charges i never made in my credit card :( Also I had to contact them because my name was wrong and they don't have customer service at all! Its a fraud! Avoid it!

I have been attempting to cancel my flights to Europe since March due to the pandemic. They originally offered 54% back as refundable for my tickets costing roughly $1,200. After several different refund offers, I settled for a $950 refund (roughly 80%). First off, withholding any funds is actually against the travel acts put into place around COVID, but I was willing to overlook to get funds back in a more timely period. However, it's been close to 60 business days since they quoted 14 business days to my refund. I've been reaching out periodically since and the only update they provide via email is that they emailed their refund department and are waiting for a reply.

This is a scam and I have no faith that I will receive my funds back. Actively pursuing a class action law suit since this seems to have impacted numerous consumers in similar situations to me. Please email me at *******@gmail.com if you would like to formally add your name to the list of impacted consumers. Whether we can all receive funds or not, putting an end to their predatory business practices would suffice for me.

I cannot say this enough but do not use them unless you are absolutely sure you will complete the travel otherwise the trouble to rebook or get a refund will drag on and on and on till they have no choice. Currently looking for an attorney to take this as a class action to help the people on this page!

Avoid at all cost.

We had a flight to Europe last year that was cancelled due to COVID. They offered a credit initially but we never could find a flight through them that worked for us to use. I then asked for a refund and they agreed to provide it to me with 25% being kept for fees. Note that they never could provide an explanation on how those fees were calculated. I agreed and then they issued a refund that was short of what they had promised me. I have spent the past three months trying to get them to provide the missing amount but they won't respond to my emails and when I call they tell me it will be processed within the next 3-10 days, which never occurs. I don't believe they have any intent to refund me the remaining amount and will not honor the amount they agreed to refund me which was already substantially less than what I paid. Please learn from my experience and avoid using them.

Complete SCAM and THIEVES
September 9, 2020

After our trip ($2411. 12) was cancelled, United Airlines refunded our tickets ($1911. 12) to Skbooker to be sent to us. Skybooker refuses to refund those funds to us. They state the $1911. 12 is all fees. But they also will not send a statement breaking down said "fees". They have STOLEN the $1911. 12 that United Airlines (I have written proof) sent to them for us. Complete fraud and theft of property. What legitimate company makes money from working people via theft. Such a sad thing. DO NOT USE SKYBOOKER,,, they WILL steal money from you.

We had a incredible and enjoyable summer trip to Italy. We loved the places, people, wildlife and stunning summer scenery. The trip was well organised and everything went smoothly. We had a good selection of accommodation and the local guides were excellent. All the guided tours were fantastic!
