Never buy from them

Even if all the airlines decided to grant a credit for a minimum of 1 year from the departure date, they decided to grant a credit of one year from the departure date. This company is a company that must disappear from the market. Never buy from them again

I bought a flight to Europe through this company and my flight got canceled because of Covid 19. I waited three months to get a refund. I had to push them to do any action, because they were just lazy. When I finally got the refund, the company charged me $360 for their own costs. My ticket cost $1156, so their costs were 30% of the whole prize. Of course, I didn't get any information about their costs being so high when I bought the ticket. Don't assume that their costs do not matter, because your flight will not be canceled. You just never know, so it is better to buy tickets somewhere else.

Never Again.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! AVOID!

I don't have time to type how horrible my experience has been so just know this:

Bought a ticket to Morocco.
It was cancelled due to pandemic
A year later and I am trying to use my "credit" to book another flight.
The flight I found is $10 more than my credit & they asked me to pay an extra $125 for "fees".
This is the trip of my dreams so I said yes, sure.
It's been a month and they still have not reissued my ticket.
I called and they were extremely inconsiderate and said sorry the price went up now you need to pay $650 more on top of the voucher.
I was furious because obviously prices have went up, why didn't they book it a month ago when I asked & followed up every week while they said "it's still processing".
I called Delta and asked if they could help but it was out of their hands (however their CSR was very kind).
She explained to me that they have my money and can reissue at any time they are just refusing to for whatever reason. Likely to make more money.
I called and told SkyBooker (in a nice way) and asked about the status again & was told to call back later hung up on.
I highly doubt I will get my ticket reissued at this point and am now out $850 on top of having to buy another ticket to go on the trip.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY. I literally begged them as this is the trip of my absolute dreams. I have waited 24 years to go on this trip & they still won't help.

In January I booked a flight to go to Italy from US. I paid $ 1,300. The flight was cancelled in May, and they refunded $ 800 keeping $ 500 in fees. When the flight was cancelled we started a discussion about the refund amount; I told them that I could't accept a refund of $ 800 out of $ 1,300. We put our conversation on standby for three weeks, waiting for the refund from Lufthansa. And I was waiting to know the refund amount. When they received the refund from Lufthansa, the $ 800 refund was submitted, communicating to me that after the submission. I've never accepted $ 800 refund, and I hadn't the chance to obtain a full amount credit. I lost $ 500 in fees.

Please never book with Skybooker. They don't tell the truth and they avoid giving you your money you are entitled to. Our flights were cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19. The airline told me I am entitled to a FULL refund since it was the airline who cancelled our flight.
Skybooker told me my full refund needs to come from the airlines not Skybooker. When I spoke to the airlines, they stated since I got a negotiated price through Skybooker, the refund comes from Skybooker. The airlines said they can't even see the negotiated price so they don't even know what the refund amount should be. Skybooker kept insisting that the refund would not come from them. I was tired of getting the run around.
I ended up calling my credit card to dispute the charges and will get credited for the charges. I will report Skybooker to BBB, US dept of transportation and anyone else I can file a complaint with

Worst company

This company is a rip off! Service is at the 0 level and they don't even want to work with you! I have booked $2000 worth plain tickets to Germany for this summer, due to the Covid19 the Airline canceled my flights and Skybooker charged me $300 non refundable service fee! REALY! FOR WHAT SERVICE? Airline canceled so why am I paying $300? For what? I called 4 times and nobody wanted to explain to me at all to why they charged me $300 for nothing! I am out of $300 now and I am single mom that's saved 5 years to take my daughter on vacation! Now we are not going anywhere until I can save another $300! This is so wrong and disappointing! Will never use this company again as well never recommend to anybody! I am a travel agent and make a lot of bookings but NOT with Skybooker!

In January, 2020, I booked a round-trip flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Barcelona, Spain, leaving in March and returning in June, using Skybooker as the ticket agent. When American Airlines cancelled my flights because of Covid-19, they stated I was due a refund, but referred me back to Skybooker to try to get said refund. Skybooker evaded and avoided my requests, although the US Department of Transportation states that ticket agents should refund flights cancelled by the airlines, I never got a refund. Don't even think about doing business with this rip off company. They only get a one star rating because I am not sure if you can post a review without any stars.

Max and his merry band of thieves. NEVER use them. They will lie. They steal. Purchased a ticket pre-COVID19 for my daughter for a college overseas trip. Purchased travel insurance. Skybooker never bound the travel insurance. COVID hit, trip AND flight with Lufthansa cancelled. Tried to file insurance, no insurance because Skybooker didn't bind. Tried to get $ back from Skybooker, they were sorry they didn't do what I had purchased. Blah blah. Filed dispute with Citibank. Max with Skybooker calls and begs me to lift dispute (NEVER do this), if I lift dispute, they will refund. Trying to do the right thing (stupid me), I lift the dispute. Skybooker has given EVERY excuse in the book on why they now can't give money back. Citibank is not re-opening the dispute... and I'm out $1,243. Lufthansa has extended option to rebook thru 1/31/21, but with this travel environment, who knows if we'll be able to use the flight voucher. SKYBOOKER is a batch of thieves.

I booked my flight to Amsterdam thru SkyBooker for a Delta flight, but all flights have been cancelled. Delta is issuing refunds but SkyBooker refuses to refund money, only issues a credit for future flight. Also, the credit they issue was $50 less than the original charge. When I questioned this, they said they were withholding their service fees. They also say I can only use this credit if I book my future travel thru them. Now, three months later, they charged my credit card an additional charge! And of course, I cannot get thru on their customer service line. DON'T USE THIS SITE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF!

SCAM Alert
March 4, 2020

This organization is just a pass through broker. Then they charge a fee for finding the cheapest ticket which ends up more than you would have paid on orbits, travelocity,, etc... Although they will tell you different,, if anything happens and you cant make your travel, You have no recourse to refund. I selected a ticket with specifically a change option, and I'm not able to change it. If you try to email your issue, here's what you'll get.

"Your message couldn't be delivered to *******@skybooker.com because the remote server is misconfigured. See technical details below for more information. "
HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS TICKETING ORG.

Avoid this company!

When all of this started, I called the company to learn what our options were. At that time, the representative advised that we could cancel our reservation, but that would cost us a penalty. He also stated that, if the flights were cancelled, we could call in for a full refund. Because of this, I decided to wait until the cancellation. Our flight to Europe in July was cancelled at the end of June. When I found this out (through my own research), I called the company and was advised that I could get a refund or a credit on a future flight, but had to have the voucher redeemed by January 2021. Since I didn't know when the concerts that we were going to would be rescheduled, I opted for the refund even though they advised that the reimbursement would take up to 90 days. At the time, no mention was made of fees that would be taken out. Today, I got the following email:
In regards to your reservation, you can either get a refund of $1810. 44 or else future credit for the paid amount valid for 2 years from the date of purchase which can be used to rebook an international trip to Europe.

Kindly decide and let us know to proceed further.

The amount offered is significantly less than what we paid and is less than what it would have been in April when I initially called. I feel I have been lied to by this company. Please beware!

Skybooker is a Scam

My husband and I booked a trip to go abroad to visit my parents in 2020. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to cancel the trip. We rebooked as our honeymoon, and it was canceled again because of COVID. We tried to rebook for a second time, but were charged for additional flights which we didn't want or approve beyond our available credit. At this point all flights have been canceled, yet SkyBooker is no longer willing or able to assist us in any way. I have called and emailed 60+ times to try to resolve the issue and rebook the trip. When I asked for a credit, they were unwilling to even tell me what credit they have listed on the account, much less provide a refund or rebooking. We were denied a refund on fees which were refunded by the airlines due to COVID, yet were told that this was the reason we couldn't get any of that money back. I'm extremely displeased with the service received, and especially with the "manager" Max. He began ignoring my calls and continually told me he "just needed one more day and would call me tomorrow", which he never did. Max is an extremely poor communicator, and a disgrace as a manager. I can't believe that this business is such a scam. We spent thousands of dollars on this trip and will never get the money back. Skybooker cannot be trusted and should never be used to book a trip.

Don't Trust Them!

These guys do not do what they say they will. I had a flight canceled by COVID over a year ago and I am still waiting for my refund. DO NOT use these guys.

My experiences were similar to those outlined in the other reviews
The airline cancelled my flight in Feb due to COVID and gave Skybookers a full refund.
Skybookers did not tell me and still insists I need to "cancel" my booking or lose the fare
They are offering $3100 in refund or $3700 (what I paid) in credit
You can lodge a formal complaint with US DOT
When my CC company opens tomorrow I'll be calling this in as fraudulent

This organization is a complete sham! They will steal your money even after they have been REFUNDED by the airline who cancelled their own flights.
PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BOOK through SKYBOOKER - THEY ARE CROOKS! I SWEAR...
I purchased other airline tickets through other 3rd party (online) agents who have refunded me IN FULL after the airline cancelled their flights.
KEEP IN MIND - SKYBOOKER HAS RECEIVED REFUNDS FROM THE AIRLINES BUT THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING THEIR CUSTOMERS!

SHAME ON YOU... SKYBOOKER!
