Won't give refund
October 12, 2021

Air Canada cancelled flight for COVID. Skybooker wont refund money. Air Canada refunded to Skybooker but Skybooker wont forward. This is wrong!

I am still waiting for my Full Refund that i was promised by the company. Tickets were canceled in March and it is now mid July

As if dealing with the repercussions of Corona Virus wasn't enough, I had to run head on into the worst airline reservation agency of date. Mind you, I travel, when it's a healthy world, at least 2 times a year internationally, and several times domestically. I am a seasoned traveler. My parents were travel agents. Whatever scam skybooker is trying to pull on customers should be punishable with jail time. I had to postpone my trip last year due to covid & surgery. Skybooker assured me that I would receive a voucher and it would be applied when I was ready. Well, I'm ready & I called. I had to modify my flight to connect in Amsterdam rather than Charles de Gaulle because I was now traveling alone & slowed by the surgery. I located several flights and called & emailed skybooker offering several options for flights. They called & emailed informing me that the difference in cost was $198 and then a second information email that now the difference is $337. Needless to say, I declined to "purchase" either of those tickets, and finally decided to take the recommendation to re-book on their site. Indeed, I found the exact flight I wanted, booked it, applied the voucher, and received a confirmation with the new flight and price, only to be chased down by a skybooker agent who informed me that I owed them and additional $337. I erupted. This has been an ongoing "thread" for 2 weeks. I contacted the airlines, following 2, two hour waiting times (they informed in advance, so I was aware), I contacted the credit card company. The airline was very sympathetic but there was nothing they could do because I quite ignorantly booked with this bogus agency. My credit card agency was a little more encouraging as I now have the email with the price I booked, confirmed, but skybooker would not honor, so it looks like I need to open a case & travel down that dirty little avenue. Skybooker refuses to honor the posted price and the receipt. They shuffle me between agent to agent. They have every lame excuse under the sun to not provide me with a service that I easily provided for myself with a few clicks of a mouse. What's with these guys? And why on earth would any reputable airline allow Skybooker represent them to sell tickets. They are rip-off artists and nothing more! If you have read this review & still book with Skybooker, I would highly, highly recommend your think twice. They may give you a decent price, but I can assure you, down the line, they will nickel and dime you to death. And in the end, you would have been far better off to book directly with the airline who actually will be there to fulfill your needs, not theirs.

Skybooker offered good service, we booked a flight to Milan and Skybooker was promptly available whenever we needed any help with our reservation.

My fiancé had booked a flight with them for me and my mother thinking the prices were a great deal. The company then emails me wanting certain documents and also a document TO SIGN that it was okay for them to charge the total amount on his credit card AND that NO MATTER what that we were satisfied with the level of customer service they had given. So basically they are already setting you up by adding that comment in the document. So my fiancé trusting it signed. The next day they say they need documents a copy of VISA FRONT and BACK and copy of passport info of my mother and I front and back. This was already a huge sign. However giving the benefit of the doubt I sent our info through email. I kept calling them to follow up if they received our information and they said it would take a few hours. After awhile the guy said that he will try to charge the card and for me to stay on the line. Then they said I would have to wait few hours because the payment department was busy?!?!?! Then later that same day I called and another guy picked up saying he couldn't find my confirmation number that numbers had to be included! Funny thing is as I was reading the confirmation number to him I couldn't even hear him type! That's when I knew everything was a fraud. He finally told me there was a change in price and the flight had been canceled! Please save yourself and your information from this lowlife SCAMMING company. They will try to think of ways to postpone you in getting a ticket. They will try to get your credit card info front and back. And all your passport info and make up an excuse in the end! I will Definitely report them to FTC. I don't care if they are in the United States or some joke company elsewhere. They will be Exposed and shut down!
