I wanted duplicates of pictures of my precious pets that are no longer with me. The first order came back to me with their ears, necks and legs cut off the pictures. I got in touch with customer service to see what went wrong. They assured me they would fix it and send another set. I got the EXACT same incorrect cropped pictures and when I was on the chat asking if they normally cropped pictures, the agent ended the chat. It was my second try. I would not recommend using them for anything at all.
I purchased a table top metal print with a quote on the bottom. The font was not the same as the finished product online. When I reached out to customer service I sent them the side by side of what I received and a screenshot of what I ordered and they offered to send me a replacement but I would have to pay the $10.00 in shipping. Not worth the extra $10.00. Snapfish offers better quality items and a reasonable price with better customer service.
On January 27, I ordered two mugs for my granddaughter and her best friend to celebrate their last soccer season together. Delivery was projected for February 6 which I thought was pretty good service. Instead, my package arrived on February 4--just in time for the big game. Because of your extraordinary service, I was able to present them after their victory that afternoon. I have always been delighted with the quality and delivery of your products, but this one was the best. I will be back many more times. Thank you.
Briefly I purchased a PHOTO BLANKETwhich cost $69! It was for my son's birthday so I swallowed the price. I am so disappointed with the thinness and the color quality of this blanket! The quality has gone down. Also my post it note is not correct but because I didn't check it it got printed with the mistake. It was a spacing issue. I am considering to shop elsewhere, though I love the products Shutterfly offers.
After the best service from Costco, this was a NIGHTMARE, i tried to download photos three different times and even with their help desk still no work, finally went to Walmart and had them copied and finished in 5 min. Sorry to see Costco go, now we know why their stock is suffering.
I ordered a baby book and paid for 2 day shipping to arrive the day before shower. I checked with chat support the day it should ship and they said it would be done later that day and ship. That night I hadn't heard anything and chatted again...lost order, have to reprocess and it won't be there until a week later. Second time this has happened. I reached out to Shutterfly helpdesk to understand what is happening as why the package not getting delivered. Shutterfly asking me to contact UPS and find out the payment. Not sure why I should reach out to intermediate person and pay him to get the package delivered when I already paid to shutterfly to take care of it. Not happy with the support and service as they are not taking ownership to get it delivered.
When I signed up with Shutterfly years ago, they continually promised that they would never charge us to keep all our photos safe. Terms are about to change dramatically. They are no longer going to keep storing your photos for free. You have to purchase something once in a while. I'm really ok with that, but they are now also shutting down ALL the share sites! I have about two dozen or so with old family photos I share with relatives across the globe. Shutterfly is shutting them down and won't be offering an alternative. So many broken promises.

I used to use Shutterfly often for photo books and things when my kids were little through the years they're quality has gotten so horrible my professional pictures that were taken are blurry on their website and come out blurry when printed and yet they partner with life touch so it's not like you have a choice to use a different app service and worse than that they constantly tell you all these things are free like free prints or free photo book but they are not free cause you pay a ridiculous amount for shipping like exorbitant such an absolute scam and disappointment
Beware - there is no guarantee that Shutterfly will make it right if they provide you with a very low quality product. My original order did not arrive as expected. The picture was not well placed on the order and did not match what was visible when designed. I sent for a re-make and specifically asked for a quality control review. I was told it would add 5 days and agreed to this.
The second order arrived and it was exactly like the first and it did not take additional 5 days because they did not conduct any quality control review.
I asked for my money back. No-go! They gave me a credit to order again. So I did. The third order arrived and it was worse than the first 2. They actually cut the picture off from the middle of the eyes. The guys head was cut off at the eye line. Again - NO quality review.
Asked for my money back. Again. No-go. Policy is… no money back even if their quality is bad. I could pay more money to send it back to them so they can consider a refund. By now - I'm already 50 bucks into a 3.5 inch piece of glass.

This company just won the Costco contract since Costco got out of the business. What a disappointment. I will not do business with this company again. Hope Costco knows they turned their business over to a terrible company.
I've been trying for two days to load my project without success. I've rebooted, cleared cache, closed all tabs, contacted Shutterfly "help" and signed out and back in. Spent an hour with online help and still no resolution.
Okay so i ordered a book for christmas and of course it was very busy and it was going to be late. Tracking just kept saying "package acceptance pending" and it was annoying and after the package was delivered i was given the reasons it was delayed for so long. It went to west virginia and before that it was in Pennsylvania, where it was supposed to be delivered in the first place. It was all UPS's fault they missorted it and sent it to the wrong place. I then noticed the address was old and my person moved. I chatted with shutterfly and they immediately reordered the purchase at no cost and sent it! I will use them again no matter what because of this outstanding customer service. Shipping is not their fault. So i was wrong when i wrote a bad review earlier.
Every year I make about 30 calendars for my family. It is an awesome way to keep track of our birthdays and anniversaries and it's also turned into a chronicle of our lives. I started using Shutterfly about five years ago and it was a good experience to start with. The calendars came out very nice and I got very good reviews from my family. Until this year… I purchased the 30 calendars plus I purchased one from last year because one of my family members missed out on the calendar in 2022. Instead of sending me 30 2023 calendars from the ones I ordered exactly correctly in the queue, they sent me 30 calendars 2022 from last year and one 2023 from this year. I would like to know who did this? Why? So now I'm trying to correct this only I'm at work and I can't talk on the telephone and I can't use work computers for personal business. So he started by chatting with them and saying please send me the calendars before a certain date because I have made arrangements to connect with my family members who live in Asia at a particular time with particular people that would be in the same place at the same time. After talking with three representatives, we still do not have the replacement calendars and the time passed for the people going to Asia to get theirs in a timely time. I'm going to be forced to pay additional money to send the ones in Asia a calendar with overseas shipping prices that may or may not get to them because apparently overseas in Asia is not a definite way to send something. Packages have been known to get lost. I am so disappointed in the way I've been treated by this company to fix the situation. This was after three representatives assured me that everything was OK and that they had fixed this even escalating this to upper management. Shutterfly is great until they made such a huge mistake that they flatly refused to fix by overnighting these to me as requested.

Zero quality control! Ordered a blanket. The first one came and the pictures were improperly cropped. I went back in to their site and repositioned the improperly cropped photos, contacted customer service and they said they'd send me the correct blanket for free. Well the second delivery, the same exact blanket came on time for Christmas but still wrong. So now I don't have a Christmas present for my mom. I contact them again. Let them know they sent me the same one and they need to send me the updated version. They assured me they'd send the new updated one this time. Well so much for their times a charm. The same exact improperly cropped blanket came. Absolutely unbelievable!
Contacted customer service yet again and finally just asked for a full refund. I will never order anything from shutterfly ever again!
