Ordered a mug way before Christmas with delivery listed as December 23rd. Mug delivered December 28th at night. Styrofoam box was damaged as well as the mug. Their customer service is a run around at best. I will never order again from Shutterfly!

I have ordered from Shutterfly before and it's been ok. This Christmas season was different. When my cards arrived part of a person's head was cut off. I debated a long time before deciding not to send the cards. By then it was too late to reorder. When I contacted Shutterfly I was offered another printing of said cards at no cost to me. It's after Christmas so I opted for a refund of 25% of my original cost-better than nothing but it meant I just threw away $45 of cards I couldn't use. Money down the drain...
I feel like Shutterfly could do better than that on refunds. I won't be using this company again.

I ordered my cards with plenty of time for delivery here it is December 26 no cards no way to track it because UPS claims they delivered it to the local post office the local post office says UPS never delivered it. I'm so disappointed I've never missed sending cards to family and friends all over the world until now I've used tiny prints in the past with no issue. Looks like Shutterfly cut corners on shipping and as a result I lost out. On Dec. 22 Couldn't speak to a live person had to continue a digital chat. What was offered at the end of the day was a refund I could've had my order sent and received perhaps by January 3. No discount on the original order would be applied and no Xpress delivery. I will not ever use you again.
Paid for items to be here no later than Christmas and they claimed it would be here on the 21st. It's 8 pm Christmas Day and my fathers gift has yet to arrive. Guessing it's won't be showing up tonight as promised (second). Items weren't cheap and I expect when items for holidays are ordered and promised arrival date for it to be done. Most likely won't be trusting this site anymore. Shouldn't promise arrival dates I'd you aren't positive it's arriving on that timeframe. Extremely unsatisfied.
I have been ordering my christmas cards with them for years now and its never been this bad. It kept saying it was going arrive that day everyday for a week. It is now christmas eve and my christmas cards have still not arrived after i purchased expedited shipping. They ignore my emails and don't answer the phone. Do not waste your time and money as i certainly wont any more. Will start buying on vistaprint from now on!
I ordered this plush fleece blanket for a Christmas gift. The printing was terrible! Some areas on the blanket, see pictures, were just simply not even covered with ink. The printing was streaky, and quite frankly simple AWFUL. Shutterfly customer service agreed, saying "WOW" when I sent the pictures along. They offered to redo the blanket. Was I ever disappointed when the 2nd print job was worse than the first! Couldn't imagine that was possible, but it was. Unfortunately the second blanket came in just days before Christmas. Shutterfly's solution was to refund my money. Like that was a satisfactory solution!?!?!? I spent considerable time choosing the photos, etc. Then having to wait on hold twice for customer service to resolve the issue. Lots of my time! Oh and they sent me a $10 credit for my next order. Which is never going to happen.

I placed an order on November 29th (a Christmas gift) & was told it would be delivered by Dec.8th...i tried to chat with a live agent 3 different times until finally today i was told it was a delivery issue & they could redo my order but wouldn't be ready until after Christmas & was offered no apology! I just asked for my money to be credited back because I refuse to do business with a company that seems to not even care about their customers! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!
On 12/10/22 I made 7 Calendars as Christmas Gifts, I paid $174.00, I have been making gifts from Shutterfly over 15 years, for the first time UPS has lost my order, the UPS site says it has been at the local facility 4 days but no one can tell me any updates. I called Shutterfly. I don't think they care, these are Christmas gifts that needed to be shipped, today is 12/23 and now it's too late to ship them. I am really disappointed, this has not happened prior, I have 3 different orders lost within the UPS system. Shutterfly used to be excellent. Not sure what happened.
My mom passed away in late October. I ordered a personalized calendar for my dad well in advance to be here before Christmas. It has been sitting waiting for pick up since 12/14. They have zero protocol in place to replace and resend if no movement. I did a chat online with their customer service team and was reassured it was fine and would be here by today. I called again today and they now said we will reship but won't be here until 12/30. I am beyond disappointed in their service. I now do not have a personalized gift/memory of my mother to give to my dad (no thanks to Shutterfly). I paid $36 for what?

I placed an order for Christmas cards on December 4th, they shipped December 9th, and as of December 21st, had still not arrived and tracking info had not updated for 6 days. I was supposed to receive them between the 14th-20th. I contacted shutterfly and was given a canned response to please be patient, and that it was showing they would be out for delivery that same day. After I spoke with the customer service agent, shipping magically updated and my cards were supposed to arrive today, Dec 22nd. I finally received the package, and it was empty! Not only are my Christmas cards late, they've somehow disappeared and once again customer service has no answers for me. What a horrible experience. I will never order from this garbage company again.
I've ordered projects from Shutterfly twice this year. The first project was a couple hundred 4x6 prints that got lost in the mail and they had to send me a duplicate set that took a couple of weeks to get all that finalized.
This month, December 2022, I ordered a 16x20 print that left Washington State on the 14th and it is now the 22nd and once again they cannot tell me where my package is. I bought this for a Christmas present of course and now I don't know if I can even get it framed in time or if it will even show up before Christmas. I do like Shutterfly it's just that they're shipping sucks and I probably will never order from them again.

Ordered on 12/3 delivery 12/21. They use mail innovations which is ups to usps, too many steps ups gets it there then usps sits on it for 4 days at my local postal. Never again.
Delivery has taken over a month. The tracking shows it's in my town at the post office for the past week. My wife went to the post office with the tracking information no package there. I chatted online with a representative last week, they said if it doesn't arrive by the next day reach out to them. Almost a week later I chatted again with someone online they said if it doesn't arrive by today reach out tomorrow. When I explained that I chatted last week with someone the representative kept repeating wait until tomorrow.
So today I called Shutterfly after going through their voice activated system I was told 5 minutes into the call that thier phone lines are closed and to reach out to them via chat online. I will call my credit card company to try to get a refund from them. DO NOT USE SHUTTERFLY!
As a follow-up I did receive a full refund, and my Christmas cards came on Dec 24th. The box was completely damaged. Horrible shipping. Glad they gave me a refund but will never use again.
I've had about as much as I can handle of Shutterfly. I started using them a decade ago while I lived overseas and had an APO address. I used to think the ridiculously long delays in receiving my packages was a byproduct of living far away. However, since moving back to the US and ordering items, it's clear to me that Shutterfly is just an inept company that takes ridiculously long times to produce even the simplest of items. Then, as a company policy it uses the cheapest and most delayed shipping method available to send items to customers. You would have to literally order an item two months in advance to possibly guarantee it will arrive when needed. I've had birthday invitations delayed, birthday gifts and now Christmas gifts that all don't arrive on time. I order weeks in advance only to see that it's still sitting in "production". And forget about their "customer service". They could absolutely care less. I spent an hour asking that they send a note to production to see the cause for delay and send the item sitting in production for weeks by overnight delivery. Crickets. Their solution for everything is a $10 gift certificate so I can keep coming back for more punishment. They still use the same tired business model from when they started with low overhead costs that delay production and cheapest possible shipping contracts that further delays getting the often weightless items sent. Why bother when there are so many other choices out there. I will no longer bother and I hope folks will do the same and save a ton of energy and disappointment that is inevitable with Shutterfly.
