I ordered Xmas cards and 3 ornaments on 12/5. ETA 12/19. Only the Xmas cards and 1 ornament arrived on time. Shipped One wrong ornament- it's faces of diff set of people we don't know. One ornament was lost. Re-orders taking another 10-12 days and ETA is AFTER cHristmas. Their web and mobile order processing is terribly broken. Customer service and clients are seeing diff things on the clients portal. Stay away from this company

I tracked my Christmas cards from Carrollton Texas to Fort Wayne Indiana, but then for no apparent reason backtracked to Rossford Ohio where the Shutterfly package has sat since December 14. ChattyFly happily reported my Christmas cards were shipped and on their way; but did not look at the details to see they were actually stuck in Rossford Ohio.
After informing ChattyFly the package appeared lost, she offered to replace my order, but would not expedite the order nor promise delivery before Christmas. Further ChattyFly did not offer to contact UPS to report my missing package. I requested ChattyFly cancel my order and initiate a refund. But ChattyFly refused because I had to wait either after delivery or after a random date. No meaningful help.
Shutterfly customer service has been outsourced to an untrained mediocre cadre who provide worthless solutions to an endless possibilities of service failures.

Shutterfly uses terrible "ups innovations" cheapo parcel shipping that takes 3x what normal shipping should. As others have stated, this results in no updates - because it is a bulk parcel service from center to center only. My package left TX on 12/9 and did not have a single update until it hit Fife WA on 12/19. Yes, 10 days to go from TX to WA. I could drive that in 2 days. Sure hope Shutterfly saved a buck doing it this way, 'cuz you lost a customer.
Only concerned about making the sale. Shipped on 12/5/22 and on 12/19/22 I still don't have the cards. The "Mail Innovations" service is worthless and the customer service/tracker is useless. The promises began on 12/12/22 to expect delivery that day, and confirmed weather was not the issue all week. Today, 1219/2022, a customer service representative confirmed that Shutterfly knew by 12/15 that the order was lost. Even as of today, the order status still shows as on its way and will be delivered any minute. Too late for Christmas cards for us this year.
Ordered a personalized ornament on Dec 5 with estimated delivery on the 15th. As of today the tracking still says awaiting carrier pickup and the numerous chats with so called customer service has gotten me nowhere except them thinking it was not even made yet. I ordered my Christmas cards on 11/30/2022. It is now 12/19/2022 and my cards are not here yet, almost a month later. 2 days after ordering them, I noticed I needed to change my address because I had moved. The cards hadn't shipped yet and I was told that I can change my shipping address. When I never received them in the mail, I called back and was told because I changed my shipping address that's what delayed me getting them on time. When I told the very rude gentleman on the phone what I was told, he insisted I was lying to him. When I said I wanted to cancel my order and I would send everything back if I ever received it, he got very irate with me and said what is wrong with people this time of year. I was so angry and said to him, as soon as my stuff got here I was sending it back. I have done briskness with this company for at least 15 years. I cancelled my account and will NEVER order anything from this company again.

Ordered a 8x10 glass picture of a friend who lost her son and wanted it before the funeral which was on 12/3/22. Placed the 1st order 11/22 when it arrived the corners were broken. The second order 12/5/22, arrived corners broken. Re ordered again, this time the picture came in great condition but it wasn't my picture, it belonged to someone else. The last order I am still waiting for it to arrive. The reason this happens is because the glass pictures are not wrapped and secure when sending, that upon delivery, which it gets thrown all over the place, UPS saids it's not their fault. The fault belongs to who ever wraps these packages to go out. I am sooooo frustrated! This is a company that I will NEVER order from again. I have a few friends that order from Shutterfly, I will convince them to go else where. So beware, especially when ordering anything in glass!
This company is horrible, we paid for expedited "3-5 day" shipping the last week of November and our Christmas Cards are still not here (December 15th). Worst customer service ever "we don't guarantee shipping" WTF? We paid for expedited and you don't guarantee it? We will definitely be taking our business elsewhere next year.

It is the 15th and there is still no sign of it and no updates on tracking. Customer service is slow if you can get a hold of them at all, and the chats time out after 15 minutes. Been with shutterfly for many years, for prints, cards, gifts such as mugs. While the product they produce is good (if you get it), and the prices are OK if you hit a half off deal or something, the shipping is unreliable. This is now the second case of an order getting lost. Shutterfly uses UPS Mail Innovations. While UPS faithfully gets the order to your local post office quickly, after that all bets are off. In the latest case I see my order arrived at my local post office, who then sent it back to shutterfly. It's been over 2 weeks and I can see the package not making any progress. I'm done. If they can't use a reliable method of shipping, then what is the point. Use caution as you likely will not get your order.
I ordered items and paid for expedited delivery. The day of the delivery, I received an email that there was a delay in making my order, so it would be delivered well after I needed it. Really $#*!ty. I would not have ordered from them if I knew that. I called to check and the hold time was long and I continually had to hit numbers in order to stay on hold. Who does that? I tried to order a photo puzzle tonight. I was excited to see the site banners on the home page advertise: "50% off Everything" and "3 Days Left for Free Economy Shipping with Code SHIP79"
I was even more excited when a pop-up told me I could save 20% off my next purchase if I would sign-up for their SMS by providing my Cell Phone number, which I did and I did receive a code.
I created my puzzle, which I found to be confusing considering I already had my photo on their site but I will not get into the details on the site designer issues because I will never access this site again.
When I went to check out my 20% code applied no problem but my Puzzle was not 50% it was only 20% off (the price showing before I added the 20% code) and it would not take the free shipping code because it said it did not apply to my order because the order was not over $79, Which now makes sense why the code was SHIP79 but the detail of needing a minimum dollar amount was not included in the banner.
I started up a live chat, assuming they would be able to fix the problem. I was told I could not get the 50% off because I had applied the 20% off coupon, but I was not told anywhere the 20% off discount had restrictions. Also, I had not added a code for the 50% off because the banner said "Everything 50% off no code needed." So I was not trying to add a second code.
I removed the 20% off code but I still only saw a 19% discount on the original price, although support tried to tell me it was marked down 50%. I guess they need to learn how to calculate 50% because $9.99 off a $52.98 item is just under 19%.
I was also told the free shipping was not applicable because my order was not over $79 but again the banner just said, "3 Days Left for Free Economy Shipping with Code SHIP79"

My suggestion, seek your photo items at another site, I bought mine at Wal-Mart, no discounts but the price was $20 less than the 50% price I was expecting at Shutterfly and the shipping was 1/2 that of Shutterfly.

I decided to upload all 1500+ photos off my camera to make photo books. I never received them. Customer service for this company is HORRIBLE. After being disconnected 2X on chat I called. That person was able to reorder my prints for free...WAIT!?! I ALREADY PAID FOR THEM. Everyone acted like they were doing me a favor by sending the prints that I never received for "free". I was ALREADY charged for them. They did give me a $30 gift card on a $317 order though! What a JOKE! This company is totally laughable. My order using my $30 gift card will be my last.
I have used Shutterfly for years but all of a sudden their quality and service has hit rock bottom. I ordered a huge amount of prints to use in a scrapbook. Imagine getting them and they were NOT in any kind of sequential order. I am STILL sorting through almost 4,000 photos and trying to match them to the destination they were taken at in order to get my scrapbook done. Soooooo disappointed and the only response Shutterfly had - we don't guarantee prints being in order. Seriously!
I have been using Shutterfly for 10 years, making a yearly book and ordering multiple copies as gifts for parents/grandparents. I no longer use a desk top/lap top, I use my ipad but making a book using the app or website from ipad is useless. I have now switched to snapfish, MUCH easier to use!
Customer service is awful! Placed an order, noticed something was off with the order after receiving the confirmation email. Messages through the chat option and asked if they could check if my image actually loaded. With no given reason my order was cancelled. The chat was ended immediately with no response as to why. I entered the chat again and let the next agent know what just happened and they ended the chat abruptly. They stink, will never use Shutterfly again.
No idea what happened to them. For years they were our go to. Last year my $200 order made in November never made it for the Holidays. This year the puzzle we ordered is unusable. The pictures wipe off the pieces leaving half of each piece white. Customer service is useless. Spent an hour with them only to get credit for exactly what we paid and no way to get a useful product in time. So extremely disappointing.
