Terrible customer service. Used these guys a few times and been really good but royal mail lost the last two orders so I went on live chat - got someone almost straight away but they had absolutely no interest in helping at all - just got rude and told me to read response earlier about submitting a ticket and tried to make out it was my fault - would have taken 2 minutes to refund me or arrange for replacements to be sent out but no. Got a total waster, probably stoned and working from home who had no interest in helping at all. Even tried sending auto replies making out they were closed but followed them up with rude comments so clearly they were online just being a C**T - would never order a game from them again. As a company owner myself I would immediately sack the waster who picked up that chat... unbelievably rude and unhelpful - also lost them a regular customer / profits etc..
Received an empty on Friday, they were no help when it came to their slow ticketing service and stopped replying after they only responded one time. 5 days with no response, so far. Save your money and time and just buy on Amazon. Scammers via ignorance.
Received a notification email saying that Shopto.net had back order stock of PS5 bundles. Purchased on their website with minimal fuss getting through the virtual queue. Warned many times that if I had purchased a PS5 previously from them then my order would be cancelled, refunded but incur a £20 admin fee. The rules were very clear. I was lucky to get a PS5 bundle which was priced exactly the same as buying everything separately so no penalty for having to buy the bundle. I was worried as I purchased back order stock which meant I had to pay in full but it clearly stated they had the stock. This was on a Sunday and I got confirmation of the order within an hour (paypal was instant). From then on the communication was great. I must of had 10+ emails throughout the purchase process keeping me informed of every step. Purchased Sunday and then arrived Friday (5 working days) which was exactly as promised. Cant fault the service and would recommend.
Don't bother. PS5 was delivered with a damaged controller, was sent back and they've had it for two days with no replacement dispatched.
Just use Amazon, at least you know it will turn up and will be simple to return/ replace
Similarly to other people here, I have had issues during an order.
I put in my address manually at checkout for it just to change after I paid (used one of my paypal address instead). I called minutes after to amend this only to be told nothing can be done as order is now processing. After a rude customer support member raised their voice and hung up before resolving the issue, I was put on an infinite queue whenever I'd call back.
Fast forward, I called up royal mail following day with tracking only to be told the reference does not exist on their system and the formatting is an international reference (item was meant to be going to the UK either way). After contacting the customer chat again, similar to other reviews here, the customer support member was far from professional, refusing to fix the issue and just kept being snarky. Highly recommend to avoid!
Disgusting lack of customer service. Have spent several hours trying to place an order. It said I already had an account so you have to log in - try to log in, only to be told password incorrect. Request a password reminder, nothing. Try to contact 'customer services' wait ages to be told to do exactly what I had already done. I explain this. Wait again. They say set up a new account. I tell them it wont let me as it says I already have an account. Wait again. Several hours have now passed and still I have not been able to place an order or set up an account or access my account. They say my account was disabled due to inactivity but they cant reinstate it or deactivate it. Then tell me to calm down as I am apparently being aggressive when I says they are not helping. Their site is now down and still not been able to place the order. Disgusting. Their attitude is rude, confrontational and not at all 'customer service'.
Absolutely worse customer service I've ever received.
They wouldn't let me cancel my order that I'd just processed. The man on the phone was curt, grumpy and plain rude. He told me he "didn't know what I should do" I had "no choice and had to have it now" and there was "no one else I'm allowed to talk to." He then hung up on me!
They are not only rude to talk to, but plain nasty! It was like getting onto the phone to a bunch of teenage boys rather than an actual company.

Never had any issues despite the negative reviews on this site but I could've just been lucky in that I most often buy digital items. The times that I have bought physical games have went alright though I've received the items later than expected due to the fact that items aren't shipped on weekends.

The store didn't sent it to me and also was very rude on the messenger since they take ages to answer on their support tickets!
Now waiting for a refund!

Tracking provided shows no information from Royal Mail. No help or assistance offered - onus is on me to chase Royal Mail for delayed package. Painfully slow chat support with no name of person I am chatting with provided.
The prices are good, but I'd rather pay more and receive minimum decent human service, which is the onus should be on the company to chase for deliveries, not me the customer.

There is no tracking ID provided; I have no idea where my order is; your tone, stance and responses are poor and you do not provide names when in both online chat comms and review responses.
I tried to pre-order a switch game. I got charged £85 and there is no order in my account history. Contacted their customer service and their only answer was to take the piss off me. See screenshot attached. Avoid at all costs.
Edit: Money was refunded, I was lucky as others seem to have lost their money for good.
I was skeptical about using due to the poor reviews but was desperate to get my daughter a Nintendo Switch which is nearly impossible at the moment. Ordered on Thursday night. Received this morning. Very happy!
Manager spoke to me like dirt they have a live chat on Facebook yet they don't help you they just say go open a ticket so I don't see the point of them having a Facebook help messenger. Will never shop with them again especially spending hundreds with them. Don't bother wasting your time on them they are unprofessional and dishonest.
Watch out for these people, I ordered a video game and it never arrived. They used a different address in the shipment and still insist that the order was delivered correctly. Even though they have proof of their mistake, they are opposed to returning the money to me. Be very careful with them, they are very unprofessional and have no control over what they do.

Absolute joke of a website. They make it near impossible to create an account. The link to your Amazon account doesn't even work. The only option to pay is with Paypal and that doesn't even work. I've tried 3 different forms of payment on Paypal and it still doesn't work. There is no option to use your credit card. Their customer support chat uses Facebook messenger which is also another joke zero help whatsoever. They finally asked me to create a ticket by clicking Helpdesk under My Account. Turns out there is no Helpdesk option in My Account. It should not be this difficult to make one single purchase. The website and customer support is atrocious and needs a complete overhaul. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
I was dumbstruck at how unprofessional and callous this company are. I was suckered by one of their instant downloads adverts, it was cheaper than Nintendo direct ( I should have known, I know!) ultimately the game rocked up 3 days later with a code that I never used, the purchase was for a birthday party so no good to me three days after the event. I explained the situation and was given abuse by the customer service team, It was blatant mis-selling but I was told to sling my hook. Trust pilot review request arrived the same day, it's funny that my negative review didn't appear on the site? I hopped on here hoping I could save one person from being robbed by these guys. Ignore trustpilot reviews they clearly are receiving payments from the companies involved so how can they be unbiased reviews.
From a page of Nintendo Switch games, I spotted the title I wanted as a gift for my daughter. Unfortunately for me, I realised after purchase this was a Wii U version so no use to me. Refund? Swap for the right version? You must be joking. Totally intransigent and take the line that the policy they have chosen to adopt somehow "prevents" them from refunding or changing. Consumer law on digital downloads means that they don't "have to" be helpful, but they deliberately confuse this being unable to help. Their site states "We make it our mission to offer the best service possible." Complete rubbish.
Shopto are scamming customers by claiming to offer finance with no credit check, when in reality there is a credit check but only after they take money from you. Their own finance company told me they are using deliberate false advertising. When confronted about this staff will become abusive and close your account so that they can steal your money. They also routinely lie about their delivery services and special offers. They get bad reviews removed from trustpilot in order to deceive people. Read the reviews from their own employees on glassdoor. This company is a disgrace.
Great if you don't run into a problem... Absolutely shocking if you have a problem, poorest customer service I've ever had to face... Facebook page just deletes your comments unless they are good comments... Avoid this company
Broken website and awful customer service. Representative refused to work with me or make a compromise and then refused to offer me a free return on something that was falsely advertised.
