Shop and scan is great! It's only for UK folks so anyone else won't be able to take part unfortunately. You basically get vouchers for scanning the barcodes of your grocery shopping. Pros of the site * Excellent staff team running it, I've emailed them twice and they always email back promptly and come up with a solution. * Simple to use scheme and vouchers are generous for the amount of time spent (I get £10 every six weeks or so, I only spend 10 mins a week scanning my shopping) * They send you the little scanner, a cable and a barcode book for fruit and veg, free of charge (you don't have to "buy in" to the scheme - it's all free) * Good choice of different vouchers. I normally get an amazon e voucher but I have got house of fraser ones too. * They give triple points at Christmas and new year * Occasionally I get sent a survey about something I buy, that gives you extra points (about a pound in points for a five minute survey) * I secretly love the little scanner. It's fun blipping the barcodes. Cons * You have to join a waiting list before you can join the scheme :( But for me this only took 6 weeks of waiting * The scanning part of the website only works in Internet Explorer. But recently they created a desktop application you could download so you can do it from there rather than IE which suits me better. * If you had a large family, this could be a lot more work. As we are just a couple, we don't have loads of shopping each week, so we would need to scan less than people who buy more. In short, if you are in the UK, you'd like some vouchers and you think you have time to scan your shopping, check it out.
