DO NOT place an order with this company. I placed an order over a month ago and am still waiting for it. When I called customer service to cancel the order and get a refund, I was told there was nothing they can do because the items have shipped. The tracking number they sent me only states the shipping label was created not that it had been shipped. That was almost two weeks ago. When I asked the "Senior" Supervisor for corporate phone number, I was told he doesn't have the number, but he would send them an email. What kind of a company doesn't have a phone number? A fraudulent one! I had to file a fraud charge with my credit card company because they refused to refund my money. Terrible company! I wish I would have checked the reviews before ordering from them. Don't make the same mistake I made!
I bought my husband a REDS long sleeved shirt, and it shrunk so much, after just one washing, that it no longer fits him. Although I receive annoying emails from MLB on a regular basis, when I tried to return it via the internet form, MLB did not have my email address (go figure). Not willing to give up, I phoned MLB Shop.com and was told that they would kindly waive the fine for returning the item. FINE! They should be fined for selling poor quality items at inflated prices. BE WARNED... it will be cheaper if you throw your money in the toilet, at least you won't be charged shipping!
Ordered item 11/20. Like others have reviewed, item didn't show. I checked status and it said "refunded" but NO EMAIL! 11/27 tried to order again but item out of stock, ordered another, within an hour of ordering, checked status, refunded again! Again, no email to notify me. I called and got help, ordered again and delivery was supposed to be 11/30. On 12/3 they emailed me "sorry out of stock, order cancelled." REALLY? I called and the lowly customer service rep felt terrible but couldn't help me. His supervisor promised to call me back the next day with more information from IT. NOTHING. This company FLOODS my email with promotions, multiple times daily during the holiday, and can't deliver ANYTHING? This is totally false advertisement and should be prosecuted. How do they stay in business?
FYI, mlbshop is Fanatics. I ordered my WS sweatshirt the night the deal was sealed with the Sox. It is now 11/7 and the sweatshirt has not even been shipped yet. If I had know this was a Fanatics company, I would have chosen more wisely. It appears you can put lips on a pig but it's still a pig. Strike 3 for mlbshop & Fanatics.
Ordered a 4XL men's sweatshirt and received a different sweatshirt in women's medium. Now I have to print and find UPS store after being on hold to get the label. No online option that worked to get a label. And the one I wanted was out of stock so no replacement and no Xmas gift. Customer service could have cared less. This is why everyone shops on Amazon
We bought two shirts to send to relatives in Sweden. Our relatives never received them because the shirts were returned to MLB. MLB told us that a notice was left for them to pick up the shirts from the post office, but no notice was ever left. We thought that because the purchase was going out of the country and it was during a pandemic that the delivery was just slow. When we realized enough time had passed that they were probably not going to get the shirts, we called MLB. They would not refund our money or send new shirts because of their "90 day policy". So they kept our money and our shirts. When a policy ends up being unfair, a good company would recognize it and do what is right, especially during a global pandemic. Instead they offered us a coupon. Will never buy anything from them again.
You'd have to be crazy to shop with MLBshop.com instead of going to the mall. Full retail and lousy customer service... What could go wrong?
A used a promotion and bot something. It turned out wrong. I called to return and was told I'd be credited for the item so I could reorder. They didn't credit the full amount. I was told a supervisor would call... They didn't. Finally 1 week later after yet another attempt, a supervisor did call. And, for my trouble... they wouldn't even honor the original promotion.
I ordered online on 11/3, paid $24.95 for "second business day shipping", they neither shipped the product on the second business day nor shipped it second business day FedEx. I tried to contact customer support, TWICE, and received no response. Shame on Major League Baseball for associating themselves with this shady business. Next time, Amazon.
I had ordered a CUBS world series WINNING adjustable hat like many right after their unprecedented 108 yrs. Draught. This came nearly right away. However, when I had ordered a neat looking Nike golf polo Cubs '16 world champions at the same date, this was an entirely different story. Waited and waited, two weeks to be precise. I had sent several e-mails with no responses at all. Where, when will this polo get shipped out?! Hello?! Item had shown in stock. Finally had made a phone called and cancelled the order. They didn't care that my brother wouldn't get his birthday gift, on time or at all. Pfff... Don't bother with this unprofessional MLB shop crap. So disappointing and worse yet, another example of poor American customer services.
Never shop at MLB.com. It was the WORST customer service I have ever recieved. We recievd a giftcard that would not work on our online order. 2 hrs later on the phone, the issue never got resolved. They REFUSED to let me speak with a supervisor because they were "busy" or "not in right now."
BUYER BEWARE- good selection of items but horrible customer service and return process. Tried to exchange an item because of size. Online chat process did not work. Phone IVR said it could handle it but did not respond to prompts about return. Just kept saying it would said link in message if I said yes. When I said no, it would start over. Finally got to a human. They do not exchanges items. You have to return it and reorder. They CHARGE YOU SHIPPING on both ends. I hope I can find an alternative site that has comparable products and better customer service.
I ordered a shirt the same night the Red Sox won the ALDS. The website said the shirt would be shipped by 10/16, ok I thought perhaps they we still printing them. Well here we are on 10/19 and it was just shipped today and should arrive on 10/24. Are you kidding me! They've already won the ALCS and I haven't even received the division win shirt yet. Their website states it ships in one day really. I will never-ever buy anything from this website. MLB you need to find another vendor other than Fanatics to handle merchandise sales. They're awful and giving you a very bad reputation.!
Ordered a $49.95 ball display stand. It was way cheaper quality than expected. It was something I would expect to pay under $5.00 for; it was total juck. The delivery was significantly later than expected. I will never purchase from them again
Was given a gift from a friend and they would not work with me to figure out a way to avoid the gift giver grief with extra charges and having to re-order. I just needed a different size. I will never buy from them and will advise the same for my friends. Buy from a different site! Step your $#*! up MLB. Your site looks like it was made 20 years ago.
I have made 7 orders from MLB. The first 3 were fine with reasonable timing. One Women's T is pretty cheap and developed a hole all on it's own. The last 4 orders all were "refunded" and the email I got explaining this all said ERROR 404. I called and the person on the phone had no idea what was happening AND said they would NOT take an order from me! I have money! I was treated like a criminal! I have a "ticket" number to call "fan protection"... whew I guess they are protecting me from me! I am saving A LOT of money with all these orders they are denying me.
If I could give a zero star I would. Been waiting over a month for a refund. Had the people in chat tell me oh well nothing we can do…. Ummmm go $#*! yourselves you dbags! I can't believe I ordered after thinking I'd be getting a refund. What a piece of $#*! company. I hate the NFL but might have to change my mind after this encounter!
FIrst, when you crushed my daughter on my Birthay, I let it go. I received my Cubs t-shirt a week late. Now, I ordered a package Dec. 12, and package isn't delivered get until Dec. 27th. Why would we want it before Christmas?
Why does your order confirmation read FedEx, then when I call FedEx, they say you use the cheapest method possible to ship through USPS?
Your web banners on free shipping are deceptive. Managers do not help customers.

I read some horrible reviews about MLB shop after i ordered and i was worried for no reason. I ordered nike Detroit Tiger shorts and nike dri-fit Padres t-shirt. I live in Montreal, Quebec and i received my items in perfect condition exactly as advertised in less than 1 week. For any Canadian buyers they use Canada Post which is not only the most reliable service in Canada with accurate tracking but they have the master key so if you are not home and live in. Condo/Apartment complex then they will leave the item locked inside your box. I will be ordering more items this was a test run and it was flawless. Very happy with my unique items that for a Canadian are hard to find.
I ordered a hat, hoodie, and t-shirt after the Cubs won the series. All showed In-Stock at the time of purchase which was 11/3/16.2 weeks later(11/15/16) finally ONE of the items arrives. I take it out and there is black sharpie writing in a foreign language on the inside of the hoodie(tag says Made in Pakistan but company says Pennsylvania?). Got an email saying the t-shirt has shipped and should be here in 2 days. Still no sign of the hat even being acknowledged with my order other than the charge and receipt.
The quality of the hoodie was horrible, had no stretch to the material whatsoever like a normal hoodie would(is there even cotton in these?). I am nervous to see what the 2 other items look like. Put a review up on mlbshop.com but I doubt they'll post it.
Ordered a custom t shirt for a birthday gift. I made sure to order a month in advance. Got my product with a defect. Customer service representative was not able to give me expedited shipping on the product or find a way to get my package to me on time for the birthday. Horrible service and representative not helpful.
Answer: I would send it back if I were you and demand a refund. Full refund (shipping costs that you paid them too)
