Worst customer service experience ever! I ordered a custom Boston Red Sox jersey, but received a White Sox jersey. I was told to return the White Sox jersey and they would replace it with the correct one. After around 5 weeks of calling or using their website chat feature, still no jersey or refund. Finally, I was told that they do not have the Red Sox jerseys (although they were still available on their website?!?) and they would see about getting me the refund for the White Sox jersey (that had been returned 4 weeks prior and had confirmation of delivery to their warehouse). The customer representative was extremely rude and very unprofessional. After numerous calls, emails, and chats, I FINALLY received my refund. I will never order from this company again.
I just got screwed. I ordered a single t-shirt and was charged a $14.99 shipping fee I didnt agree to. I decided to suck it up anyway. The shirt arrived. It did not fit my Husband. The site says, Free Returns! Yeah! They dont tell you they charge $5.50 to print the label with YOUR ink. So... free? I dont think so. This mistake cost me over $20. Never again.
Ordered a custom jersey, on the website it has a place for the number and name. Total cost 250 bucks. Got the jersey with the number, no name. Was told that the most expensive jersey they sell cant be "customized" with a players name. So how is just the number "custom". Customer service arrogant and unhelpful. Next time I'll just buy one of the knock offs outside the stadium.

This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Don't buy from them. I ordered a gift. I chose Fed Ex. I thought this meant fast delivery. It doesn't. The fine print said 3-7 days. Customer Service isn't open until noon.
Live Chat isn't live at all. You get a virtual chat. I spent over an hour on this. Dealing with the store, Fed Ex and USPS. All I heard was we cannot. I will never shop there again You shouldn't either
I purchased a baseball cap from them. Because their sizing was unusual the cap was too large for me. The cap was sent in a box without an invoice. It took forever getting someone to answer the phone. They told me not only would I have to pay to ship it back, I'd have to pay a $6 fee just to print out a return label. I had to call them because the Website doesn't tell you how to return their lousy merchandise. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
I ordered a World Baseball Classic Dominican Republic sweatshirt on 3/17/2017. The email stated it would be shipped no later than 3/22/2017. I kept checking the status and it still said "NEW". I called customer service and they told me that until it was at least 2 days past the shipment date they could not do anything. I received an email on 3/24/2017 stating they requested an update from the warehouse. Then I received nothing. Today is 3/29/2017 and the site still said the order is in "NEW" status. I called customer service again and they stated there was no new information to tell me but I still had the option to cancel the order. I told them I didn't want to cancel the order and that I wanted the sweatshirt I had originally ordered. I also asked if they ever even had the item or if they were just selling them. She told me that once the order is placed they order them from somewhere else and sometimes they don't come in. Really nice. I will never do business with this company again.
I ordered from here thinking it would be better than standing in lines. I ordered a size that didn't fit me well, so i wanted to return. They charge you a return fee. I only order online almost exclusively and I am never charged for returns. They should do that ahead of time if they're going to. Also, it took 5 days just to ship! And then another 5 to arrive to me. I wouldn't recommend MLB.com.
Ordered hat to wear in World Series, I wont be received until end of series. I tried to cancel once I knew but only allowes me to return with a $5+ label fee. Will never order from here again. Give them zero, but cant!
Do not buy from MLB Online Shop. MLB.com is a scam. They take your money when you think you are making a purchase, charge excessive postage costs then do not send/deliver the purchase.
They do not respond to email and deliberately make it difficult to claim a refund.
Buyer beware.
I place my order with a "Free Shipping" promo code and the site indicated 3-5 days shipping. FedEx tracking showed delivery by 8pm on 5/26/18. When nothing arrived on 5/27/18 I checked FedEx and no information could be provided. I checked in with the MLB shop and they are telling me to wait another 7 days. Instead of admitting to any fault, the representative argued with me that the site never told me 3-5 days as all orders with free shipping are 7-14 days! I wish I took a screenshot of my order when I placed it, but I made the mistake of trusting the company before researching.

I was trying get help via the online chat and the girl disconnected me because "she didn't see me typing". She didn't even wait for me to respond. Then I called and that girl wasn't any better. She pretty much dismissed me without trying to help me. So I told her to cancel my order. But it shipped out this morning. They will be getting their authentic jersey back then minute it arrives! I'd rather buy from the Cubs Store.
I purchased MLB.com last year, and they automatically renewed my service without my authorization. Now I have to jump through a bunch of hoops and waste time to get my credit. They are telling me I had 5 days to get a credit. Five days to get a credit on a charge I did not authorize. Wow is this how we treat customers we want to come back and use our service in the future.
Ordered a red sox division champion hat... came right when they said it would and the hat was just as ordered... no complaints and would buy from them in the future and recommend them to others looking for authentic team gear..
Unfortunately I'm reading the reviews after waiting for my hat for over 2 weeks! Can't get through on the phone, even if you say you want to order something. Been on hold for over 20 minutes and still waiting. Do yourself a favor and order from a reputable outfit.
I ordered some merchandise to be able to wear to playoff games. Unbeknownst to me, they canceled my order. The way I found out was a credit issued to my credit card. When I asked them about it, they said it must have been available when I ordered but not when they decided to ship it. Had I known, I could have just bought from somewhere else. Now it's too late. We have so many choices of places to buy from--don't waste your time on this poorly run shop.
I ordered two NY Mets Jerseys for my two sons in November as Christmas presents. When I did not hear from them I called to inquiry about the status. On December 11, mere weeks from Christmas I was informed that one size was out of stock and the order was cancelled and the second jersey will ship "by January 2". I received no notification of this prior to my call and now have to scramble for Christmas. Never again am I buying from this site.
There are so many other outlets that sell the same merchandise so don't make the mistake I made and buy anything from shop.mlb.com.
They misrepresent the items, their availability, and have atrocious customer service.
I would rate shop.mlb.com zero stars if I could. Don't make the mistake I and others made. I am still trying to get a credit for an item they shipped even though I cancelled my order due to lack of shipping it within a month of ordering it.
I even called the commissioners office in NYC to get to the bottom of this operation.
Shame on Major League Baseball for allowing this to fester.
I ordered a cubs apple watch band November 11th, 2016 and still have not received it. I have called and called and have just been on hold for over an hour each time. I still have no idea where my package is. They also stated that they shipped my package through UPS, but eventually I found out it was shipped through FedEx. Never EVER order from this website. Unorganized and obviously just a huge scam.
I ordered womens size 9 reef sandals. They sent me a mens size nine. I spoke with customer service they reordered form. Unfortunately again i got a mens 9. I called again, they stated only mens. Yet sandals are advertised as womens. I also had problems with returinf other item, rhem giving the wrong shiping lables,and gerting reimbursed for right product
Answer: I would send it back if I were you and demand a refund. Full refund (shipping costs that you paid them too)
