My wife was excited about getting a shirt to support our friend in the World Series - Paid a very expensive $20.94 for 2 day shipping. Except it is NOT 2 day shipping - it is 7 day shipping, because their very unfriendly customer service reps told me that they have 4 days to ship it. I ordered on Tuesday, they didn't ship until Friday and then the weekend doesn't count - so she says Tuesday - tracking says Wednesday... HORRIBLE!

My card information was stolen and used…
My card information was stolen and used to make purchase on this site. When I called to report that someone was stealing from me, they refused to, one cancel the order and second to validate that the information, that should match the card was used. They are directly allowing this person to steal from me! I even offered to email a picture of my card, so that they could see that the information from the order DID NOT MATCH the information as the card holder, myself. This is completely unethical and directly tells me that all they're concerned with is money and not was is right or to do what is right. This person will be prosecuted and MLB just as well should be help accountable. There are many other websites that you can order that same items that are on this website, DO NOT just out of moral standards.
Ordered a sweatshirt. Did not fit. Returned2 months ago. No return on payment. No way to contact them. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
We bought two shirts to send to relatives in Sweden. Our relatives never received them because the shirts were returned to MLB. MLB told us that a notice was left for them to pick up the shirts from the post office, but no notice was ever left. We thought that because the purchase was going out of the country and it was during a pandemic that the delivery was just slow. When we realized enough time had passed that they were probably not going to get the shirts, we called MLB. They would not refund our money or send new shirts because of their "90 day policy". So they kept our money and our shirts. When a policy ends up being unfair, a good company would recognize it and do what is right, especially during a global pandemic. Instead they offered us a coupon. Will never buy anything from them again.
Pros: they have decent selection of merchandise; and for stuff that you know how the quality is (e.g. New Era hats--they're pretty much the same wherever you buy them) but...
Cons: they don't allow you to review purchases; so for t-shirts, who knows how good they are? I just bought 2 $25 tshirts and my undershirts I buy from Fruit of the Loom come in a 5-pack with better quality / thickness than these!
Charge you for returns--many places don't do this anymore and since their quality is so variable, you'll probably need to return something!
I entered the free shipping code and site defaults to the overnight shipping rate. Be careful. This site is designed to deceive the customer. Use Ebay.
I ordered a t-shirt the same size as another MLB shirt I own. The new shirt is ridiculouslly larger. MLBShop has no exchange policy, only returns. And you pay shipping. Return process may take up to 2 weeks plus reorder. No sense of urgency. Its a crap shoot which, with shipping, will almost double the cost of the shirt. In this day and age of free shipping and returns, why anyone would waste their time and money with MLBShop is beyonf me. THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS.
Terrible! 2 sizes off on both shirts... Gwynn and Henderson. Got the sane Gwynn on Fanatics. Totally different, brighter colors, bigger letters and the size was correct. These are nothing but Nike knockoffs. Can't believe MLB sells this crap! The left is the Chinese fake crap. The right is real Nike. Too bad i can't find Ricky Henderson in a real Nike.

I ordered a large order for May 1. I read the shipping info which stated that it would be shipped within 2 business days, I am ordering on April 23, etc. So I order all of my items. I get my Confirmation Email which shows that the items will be delivered from May 4-7. I immediately email the company and state I want a refund as these items are needed by May 1. I get a return email back that they are could not accept the email but to contact customer service. I go online and after a little fiddling around I find were you can have a live chat. I go on, enter all my info and state my request. I connect and it asks you what you want to do, etc. I get all the way to a person or automatic person and give my info. I get kicked out. I try this a few more times with the same result. I wait a few hours and try again. It finally goes through and i get a person who says they will cancel my full order. GREAT! Then I get my confirmation email which shows that 1 item wasn't cancelled. I go back to customer service chat, go through all the steps and they tell me because the order for that item went to the facility to prepare, and i didn't cancel within 10 minutes of the order confirmation, I cannot cancel. This is insane! I am really not happy with this website at all
I payed a extra 15 dollars just to make sure my dad got his gift for his birthday. Today's his birthday and the merchandise doesn't get here till the 23rd. Why take the money if they couldn't keep their end of the deal
Awful customer service. They send a computer generated email to respond. I had issues with a gift card not working and it's been over two weeks and every email they respond back to me says they are working on the problem with no other info. They have asked me three times for the same information I've sent them. I'm not real sure it's a person I'm talking to and not a generated email. I'm so frustrated. I will never deal with this website again. I have a worthless 50.00 gift card at this point.
My fan advocate Cristin went above and beyond to get me my replacement item which was damaged. Cristin kept me informed each time she took action and the damaged item was replaced in record time. I was very impressed with her assistance and look forward to working with her again. Louise
Honestly you're better off buying on any other website. They will lose your order, and when you go to complain, they will be "TOO BUSY" to attend you that at the end you won't get a refund. Go check on any other website before you buy here- guarantee you find better service than on this shotty sorry for an excuse page.
I purchased a SF Giants remote controlled monster truck for my 9-year old nephew for the holidays. The package was opened and put to the side for a couple of weeks. When he went to use it for the first time, he saw that the truck was broken. (See the photo.) The truck was unusable.
It took some effort to finally speak to a representative on mlb.com. Their chat was automated and sent me into a frustrating loop. The gentleman on the phone was polite, but really was not able to help me much. I was told that because the original packaging had been thrown away that I couldn't return it. I explained that it had never been used, but that didn't matter. I was told that it was outside the number of days that it was eligible for a return. I referenced that I read I had 100 days to return it, but was then told that I purchased from a manufacturer direct site and therefore, I only had 30 days. That is, unless, I purchased it during the holiday season. Evidently, I purchased it 2 days before the holiday season, which must be some arbitrary date set by mlb.com. I then asked, "So, because I don't have the packaging, even though I have the order number and the order is clearly on my account, and because I purchased it two days early, I have lost $50+. The response was yes.
I would highly recommend being wary about ordering from mlb.com. I have gotten clothing from them before, and that has all been fine, but this one purchase where they would not work with me at all, especially in these trying times, makes me rethink ever purchasing from them again. Amazon is far better and you can get many of the same things from them. So, a huge thumbs down for mld.com for taking my money and giving me broken merchandise that they will not take back.

I ordered November 12/2020. It's December 22. Still haven't received package. Says still processing. Took my money. Won't answer many emails and number is not in service. CRAP STAY AWAY
Probably the sorriest store along with the nfl store. Two American companies representing America's sports. I'll stick to rating the MLB store for this one. Sloppy deliveries, untrustworthy discounts, missing items, not caring about their customers and quality of service, unreliable as far as gift giving goes and a terrible customer service line due to them not even having an email also having poor workers that are probably outsourced dealing with these huge fraudulence companies. Terrible experience due to the people at the top of this company actually suck and could care less about their customers. Shame on you guys.
Answer: I would send it back if I were you and demand a refund. Full refund (shipping costs that you paid them too)
