Ordered a $49.95 ball display stand. It was way cheaper quality than expected. It was something I would expect to pay under $5.00 for; it was total juck. The delivery was significantly later than expected. I will never purchase from them again
You get to the final stage of the checkout process only to get hit with a BS "Handling Fee", which, the site helpfully explains, covers the cost of warehousing and handling. Why not a "cloth fee" which covers the cost of cloth, or a "button fee" or...?
This kind of junk fee is why Americans hate big business.
Purchased 3 shirts and a jacket for my wife on her birthday. All items on one order. What a huge mistake. My wife wears a size medium and every item was way to small, like child size small. All items were made in Asian countries which might be the size discrepancy.
Tried to initiate the return online and they wanted me to return each item at the cost to me $9.99 each even though they were purchased together as one order.
My advise is don't not buy into their hassle free returns because it's certainly not hassle free and the consumer has to jump through hoops to make a return.
BUYER BEWARE- good selection of items but horrible customer service and return process. Tried to exchange an item because of size. Online chat process did not work. Phone IVR said it could handle it but did not respond to prompts about return. Just kept saying it would said link in message if I said yes. When I said no, it would start over. Finally got to a human. They do not exchanges items. You have to return it and reorder. They CHARGE YOU SHIPPING on both ends. I hope I can find an alternative site that has comparable products and better customer service.
I order about 1k in baseball items in 3 different transactions the same day.
They cancel my orders with out comments or any information.
I was calling severas times to customer service,the are rude and they put my call on hold x 20min and the han out.

Every couple of years I give it a try and it does not take long to realize I have made the same bad choice once more. Bad software that evidently has never been upgraded or even had mlb even try. Bad service? So what the idiots (me) will keep on paying.
If I could give them a zero, I would. I ordered my gifts two weeks before Christmas. Estimated arrival was Dec 21st. It is now the 27th and still no package. I called customer service and they said they could either give me a refund or put in another order for my stuff. All I asked was for them to put in my order again and do expedited shipping so I could get my package asap. They said the would not do that. There was no communication at all about my order being as late as it was (only the update on the website saying it could be two to three days late due to weather). So no updates, no communication, and now my package will come almost four weeks after time of order. All I asked for with this major inconvenience was expedited shipping and they refused to do that. This website is a joke and I will never recommend it to anyone!
We ordered quite a bit of stuff after the Astros game, the sweatshirt was waaay too small and cheaply made, the words are basically stamped on the front. All of the glasses (wine and whiskey glasses) are stamped instead of etched into the glass so they'll wash off soon I'm sure. Not worth the money.
Ordered a 4XL men's sweatshirt and received a different sweatshirt in women's medium. Now I have to print and find UPS store after being on hold to get the label. No online option that worked to get a label. And the one I wanted was out of stock so no replacement and no Xmas gift. Customer service could have cared less. This is why everyone shops on Amazon
Terrible shipping and no communication! Buy from somewhere else is my recommendation. My order was placed on 11/6/2022 and delivery date keeps being pushed back.
In 2 orders I didn't receive 1 that was right. Defective items, and terrible shipping times. MLBshop takes zero responsibility even if it is their website. I won't be buying from them again. 2 days shipping means 3 weeks.
I purchased 4 jerseys... 2 authentic jerseys and two replicas one of which was a womens jersey with a player name and number. The womans jersey didnt fit and now Im stuck with it because i had to choose a custom jersey in order to get the white one. It is not offered in white only in black. Horrible customer service. ITS A ALONSO JERSEY. IT WOULD IMMEDIALTELY BE SOLD IF RESTOCKED not that u care but you lost a customer >>>i should return all merchandise i purchased... over 800 dollars!
If I could give a zero star I would. Been waiting over a month for a refund. Had the people in chat tell me oh well nothing we can do…. Ummmm go $#*! yourselves you dbags! I can't believe I ordered after thinking I'd be getting a refund. What a piece of $#*! company. I hate the NFL but might have to change my mind after this encounter!
Ladies tees are very poor quality. My tee was not attached at the seam. It had holes in the fabric after the first time worn. I purchased two of them and both were poor quality. Customer Service would not send me a return label or replace or give me a credit. They spoke very kindly when I talked to them and said they would and then they never did. After five attempts still no resolution.
I ordered a jersey for a special event 8 days before the event and I am still waiting for it to arrive after the event is over. Nickel and dimed me on an already overpriced item. Never again.
I ordered a reasonably priced cap, then was charged an unwanted expedited shipping fee for standard shipping. I had to dig deep to find any direct customer service, which was a live chat. It's way too much work to purchase items online from this outfit. They are POS scammers!
Cristin@ MLBShop was by far the best Customer Service Representative I have ever dealt with. Her patience, thorough understanding of the subject matter and dedication to providing outstanding customer service was the best I have ever encountered. She was 100% solutions driven and super responsive.
She truly embodied the importance of what post-sale service is supposed to be.
Because of her my wife and I will be MLBShop customers for life.
I placed an order from them and charged my CC and a couple hours later they cancelled my order. When i called to ask why, they said because it popped up in their system as fraudulent. When i verified all my information they said that it was cleared and my order will be processed. I checked on my order the following day and it still showed cancelled. I went on line to talk to a live chat rep and they asked me the same questions 3 times. And said that since my order was originally cancelled that i would need to re order and charge my cc again. I told them that they already cancelled that order and would get my refund in 3-5 business days and would have to make a new charge. I'm NEVER ordering from them ever again.
Ordered a Braves wine glass customized with my name (Deanna) on it and received a dirty, dingy, used glass with the name Jason. Disgusting. When I tried to call, the customer service agent was fumbling stating they were having computer issues... then all of a sudden the call was disconnected. So disgusted with this company. Will never buy anything from here again.
