Purchased the Boston Red Sox '47 Brand Frost Structured Adjustable Hat Navy Blue. Perspiration line appeared at headband after two normal wearings. Will not wash out. Hat looks terrible now.
They have the worse customer service when it comes to returning an item and it take 10 days for them to even start the return process and then 3-4 weeks to get your money back!
I got just what I ordered and it wasn't a said price of 60 or 30 dollars. I paid 134.99 for a Rizzo gold program Cubs jersey. It came on time. I tracked it by FedEx all in the USA if you click on a discounted jersey off Facebook or a off a searc engine you will get a knockoff. It is a duplicate of the MLB Fanatics site. With 134.99 crossed out then the extra cheap price. It originates from china go to MLBshop.com directly and you won't be disappointed it is a genuine replica the ones on the field are 265 or so it is real Majestic merchandise
I was trying get help via the online chat and the girl disconnected me because "she didn't see me typing". She didn't even wait for me to respond. Then I called and that girl wasn't any better. She pretty much dismissed me without trying to help me. So I told her to cancel my order. But it shipped out this morning. They will be getting their authentic jersey back then minute it arrives! I'd rather buy from the Cubs Store.
I should have read the reviews before ordering. Do not ever order from this company! I placed an order on may 1. Paid for 3 day shipping to get it here for my son's birthday. Now they are saying it won't be delivered until may 8! We ordered this braves jersey so he could wear it to the Braves game we are going to on may 7. I called customer service several times with no answer or explanation. How can a company lie like that? If I could give them negative stars I would. Absolutely terrible.
I place a order for a WBC cap on March 21st and the cap hasn't arrive yet and even worst than that mlb shop send it thru FedEx with a 14 day service. Expected delivery day on May 11th. And I bought this item with a promotion of free 2 day delivery. I will never use MLB shop again. Horrible service. Bottom line MLB shop is the worst place to order an item from. Bad service.
Never never again got my girlfriend blue jay hoodie at a cost with shipping 120$. It was a t shirt with a zip. Live and learn.
Ordered a custom jersey, on the website it has a place for the number and name. Total cost 250 bucks. Got the jersey with the number, no name. Was told that the most expensive jersey they sell cant be "customized" with a players name. So how is just the number "custom". Customer service arrogant and unhelpful. Next time I'll just buy one of the knock offs outside the stadium.

I placed a order for a baseball cap of Puerto Rico baseball team on March 21st and they told me today that this is a special order... WHF? We have the same logo more than 10 years ago! So the order will be ship from US on April 25th and maybe I will receive it before the next MBC. Is this a MBL sport shop? Doesn't look like! Very slow, expensive and their excuse is a joke! Will never shop here again!
I recieved 20$ promotional credits on my account which were fraudulent and decieving. After placing my order and recieving a receipt and confirmation. Orders were canceled y my account banned and locked permanently. When I called customer service, they did not have a clear idea of what was going on. Only to recieve a phone call from a Carmen lady basically lying about the issue stating that they has a "system issue" and the credit was not going to be honored. Plus after recieving emails about they mistake and apologizing. They even decided to give me 10$ credit for every order placed. Happened to de fraudulent as well since when i called about this email they basically tried to evade the questions. I reported this website to the proper online shopping fraud authorities and a case is being made.
I ordered a World Baseball Classic Dominican Republic sweatshirt on 3/17/2017. The email stated it would be shipped no later than 3/22/2017. I kept checking the status and it still said "NEW". I called customer service and they told me that until it was at least 2 days past the shipment date they could not do anything. I received an email on 3/24/2017 stating they requested an update from the warehouse. Then I received nothing. Today is 3/29/2017 and the site still said the order is in "NEW" status. I called customer service again and they stated there was no new information to tell me but I still had the option to cancel the order. I told them I didn't want to cancel the order and that I wanted the sweatshirt I had originally ordered. I also asked if they ever even had the item or if they were just selling them. She told me that once the order is placed they order them from somewhere else and sometimes they don't come in. Really nice. I will never do business with this company again.
I just purchased 5 items from mlb.com on Wednesday March 15th 2017 - spent waaaaay to much but thats my problem. The issue I have is - by Friday March 16th my entire order was now on sale. The savings in Canadian dollars is just under $130, over a 25% discount. So I decided to call customer service and let them know. I was hoping that they would maybe credit me back the difference seeing that the price reduction was less than 24 hours old. And keep in mind, its not as though they had no more stock in my size and were just trying to move some odd sizing at a steep discount - nope, everything was all in stock and available. So customer service told me that they "don't price match their own stock" and that there is nothing that they will do for me. I asked them to reconsider and let me speak to a supervisor! Ha ha - yeah, that really worked. That person cared even less. And don't tell me its because they are such a "huge" company and its hard to find good customer service - ever heard of Apple? Whether you like their products or not their customer service is top notch and this kinda sh*t wouldn't happen. So I will return the purchase for a refund - and just cancelled my MLB.tv subscription. I would stay away and try and find other options if you can.
I order multiple jerseys and 2 out of 4 came 1 wasn't what I order but sense it was personalized the only gave 20 dollar credit if I didn't call they were going to keep my money and never notified me two jerseys we out of stock and where not polite at when I corrected them I there mess up.
I bought my husband a REDS long sleeved shirt, and it shrunk so much, after just one washing, that it no longer fits him. Although I receive annoying emails from MLB on a regular basis, when I tried to return it via the internet form, MLB did not have my email address (go figure). Not willing to give up, I phoned MLB Shop.com and was told that they would kindly waive the fine for returning the item. FINE! They should be fined for selling poor quality items at inflated prices. BE WARNED... it will be cheaper if you throw your money in the toilet, at least you won't be charged shipping!
This site is the worst. My husband purchased a sweatshirt for me for my birthday and one for christmas. My birthday was after christmas. When I received the gift, I tried it on and it was too small. The item is still being sold on the website but because we were at 62 days after purchase, they would not return it. I hadn't worn it and cannot wear it because it is too small. I just wanted a credit and would understand if it was not being sold anymore but it is. Ridiculous. I will never buy from them again.
Ordered a Colorado Rockies Hoodie 12/18/16 for nephew for Christmas, plain Hoodie with team logo, no customizing, no additional charges for customizing, just team logo hoodie. Arrived when they told me. Nephew tried it on Christmas morning, it was too small. According to site you have 60 Day Hassel Free Returns. No problem, I would return the too small one and reorder a size larger.
Ensured that all tags were still on the item and Returned Hoodie, had to order a more expensive one because they were out of the one I originally ordered.
On Jan 14,2017, I received a message back saying that they had received my order back but would not credit me back because it was customized order, and it was a worn/used item, and that it had not been returned within the return policy time frame. That advised that they would donate the product.
The item I purchased and returned had no customizing to it, had all the tags attached to it and was returned within 30 Days. Of course I didn't have the hoodie. I wish now that I had of taken a picture of the product prior to returning it, maybe I would have had something that I could of used to fight being swindled out of my money.
Women's XL jersey was like a Men's medium. Ridiculously small. Then they wouldn't exchange jersey for a bigger one because I'd bought it two and a half months before Xmas. Their return window is only 2 months. Terrible experience.
I placed my order on Dec 16 2016 i never got an email on shipping. Usually right aftet you placed an order online they would send you an email confirmation. But i never did so it was my mistake not to check reviews online i was in for a surprise.my total was $49.99 for a jersey but they charge my bank $53.29 that was strange so i send them an email no response and today is Dec, 19,2016 still waitting.
FIrst, when you crushed my daughter on my Birthay, I let it go. I received my Cubs t-shirt a week late. Now, I ordered a package Dec. 12, and package isn't delivered get until Dec. 27th. Why would we want it before Christmas?
Why does your order confirmation read FedEx, then when I call FedEx, they say you use the cheapest method possible to ship through USPS?
