I ordered a jersey for a special event 8 days before the event and I am still waiting for it to arrive after the event is over. Nickel and dimed me on an already overpriced item. Never again.
So disapointed to read about the team logo masks ordered mets masks on May 26 still waiting and was looking foward to recieving them... not anymore: (
I placed an online order on 11/03/2016 and wanted to modify one item on it so I called customer service. I was told I could not modify it but could cancel it and reorder so that's what I did. Several weeks later, I started receiving items from the order I had cancelled. I checked my credit card and realized my credit card was only refunded a portion of what was originally billed. I called customer service to find out why I was receiving items I had cancelled and questioned why I was only refunded a portion of what I had paid. I was told I could not cancel the order as it had already been processed the day I ordered it. Needless to say, all of the items I ordered were "preorder Chicago Cubs items." I told them I called and cancelled. I was told there was a mix up with their system and that I would be refunded however all items on my cancelled order would still be shipped to me so I needed to return them as they arrived. So it been a month later and I am still slowly getting items I had cancelled and still have not received a full refund. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company. Thankfully I have kept track of all phone calls and tracking numbers. Please use my horrible experience as an example and don't order from them!
I purchased 4 jerseys... 2 authentic jerseys and two replicas one of which was a womens jersey with a player name and number. The womans jersey didnt fit and now Im stuck with it because i had to choose a custom jersey in order to get the white one. It is not offered in white only in black. Horrible customer service. ITS A ALONSO JERSEY. IT WOULD IMMEDIALTELY BE SOLD IF RESTOCKED not that u care but you lost a customer >>>i should return all merchandise i purchased... over 800 dollars!
I purchased three shirts as gifts. Two were to be personalized. One of the shirts arrived not personalized. I contacted MLB.com and returned the shirt they sent me, they sent me another shirt that was to be personalized. I received the shirt they sent me a few weeks later. It was very visibly off center, and crooked. I called to let them know what had happened. Knowing the person I was talking to did not make the shirt. Just telling them what the issue was. I was told that it was a personalized item and could not be returned. That they would give me a twenty percent discount if I wanted to purchase it again. I asked to speak to somebody that might be able to do a lil more than that. Somebody that might have a lil more authority. Since I was told that was their policy. The lady I spoke with was not exactly accommodating. She informed me of the same policy. I informed her of the poor quality of the shirt, and that it wasn't just that I didn't want the shirt. At a point she told me I could send the shirt back again, and my account would be credited the cost of the shirt. Minus the $5.50 cost of shipping. I cannot understand how this could be.
I just placed an order, got this email reply soon after;

MLB Shop - shop.mlb.com... tried logging back to their webpage and got this is pop-up message

I just purchased 5 items from mlb.com on Wednesday March 15th 2017 - spent waaaaay to much but thats my problem. The issue I have is - by Friday March 16th my entire order was now on sale. The savings in Canadian dollars is just under $130, over a 25% discount. So I decided to call customer service and let them know. I was hoping that they would maybe credit me back the difference seeing that the price reduction was less than 24 hours old. And keep in mind, its not as though they had no more stock in my size and were just trying to move some odd sizing at a steep discount - nope, everything was all in stock and available. So customer service told me that they "don't price match their own stock" and that there is nothing that they will do for me. I asked them to reconsider and let me speak to a supervisor! Ha ha - yeah, that really worked. That person cared even less. And don't tell me its because they are such a "huge" company and its hard to find good customer service - ever heard of Apple? Whether you like their products or not their customer service is top notch and this kinda sh*t wouldn't happen. So I will return the purchase for a refund - and just cancelled my MLB.tv subscription. I would stay away and try and find other options if you can.
I ordered a personalized baseball jersey from MLBshop.com, and at first it looked okay, but then I realized that all the letters on the back of the jersey were not stitched on, some were just ironed on and some were stitched and ironed on (all the letters should have been ironed on and then stitched). So, the personalization looked stupid because it wasn't done correctly. Plus the team logo on the left sleeve was missing. When I contacted them to fix the problem, at first they said, "no problem" we'll send you a replacement jersey. After no jersey and a series of emails, I get another email stating that I had to take pictures and send them in to them of what was wrong... After I did that then MLBshop.com, stated that they would only issue a refund, which I didn't want, I wanted what I ordered. In short, MLBshop.com would not make good on the product that I purchased and I was quite disappointed. DON'T ORDER FROM MLBSHOP.COM, the quality assurance is very poor, and they really could care less whether or not you get what you ordered, and won't stand by their claim that your satisfaction is their priority.
I ordered a shirt that is in stock but they cannot process order until the 27th of December? Spoke to manager she said she would fix it snd she lied and said oh i guess you want me to cancel it... NO B^#! $, I WANT YOU TO DO AS YOU PROMISED...
I ordered a current Cub player's jersey, it wasn't delivered when promised and when I tried canceling the order, they said they couldn't because it was a custom order. HE IS A CURRENT PLAYER! How exactly is that a custom order? I spoke to a Supervisor named Allen who was absolutely no help and had no idea what he was talking about. I am very disappointed in the customer service and overall MLB shop experience and I will never be ordering from them again. Take your business to Lids lockerroom.
I ordered a hat off these jackasses since Saturday October 21st world series hat, I paid extra for 2 day business shipping so I was expected to get this hat the 24th and I will not be getting until the 30th f#cking RIP offs never again will I order from these morons.
I ordered a custom jersey for a Christmas present a month and a half before I'd need it. I received the jersey and they spelled the name incorrectly. The way they spelled the name didn't even make sense, so whoever proofed the jersey, even if they do, is insane. I checked my original order to confirm if I'd ordered the jersey correctly and I did so it was a manufacture error not a user error. I contacted the customer service department, explained everything, told them it was supposed to be a Christmas present and I was informed that I'd be contacted via email that Wednesday. I received nothing, called on Thursday, they informed me that it was "still within their time frame to reach out" so it's just a "waiting game". I received an email this Monday from someone who can barely write proper English sentences informing me that they cannot replace my product and they'd be happy to refund me if I send the product back. WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. F**K. I requested a mangers contact information by end of day but of course I heard nothing back. This is literally the WORST company I've ever purchased anything from and they have the absolute WORST customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

I will never order on this site again. I thought being an official MLB site you can count on them, but this site is a total fraud. I ordered a hoodie on Dec. 10th, my credit card was immediately charged. After 4 days nothing changed in the status, so I chatted with one of the employees, who assured me that the hoodie was getting ready to be shipped out. After another 3 days and the status not changing again, I called again, and asked for a refund of the 2-day delivery charge only. The agent once again told me that the 18,95$ would get refunded immediately and that the hoodie would still be send.
After another 2-days the status all of the sudden said refunded. Again I chatted with an agent who told me that the hoodie is apparently out of stock (since Dec. 15th). Remember I ordered on Dec10th?! BTW the hoodie is still available in the shop. The service agent assured me that a supervisor would call me within 24 hrs. Well guess what I NEVER received a call. This site needs to get shut down immediatly.

Ordered a Colorado Rockies Hoodie 12/18/16 for nephew for Christmas, plain Hoodie with team logo, no customizing, no additional charges for customizing, just team logo hoodie. Arrived when they told me. Nephew tried it on Christmas morning, it was too small. According to site you have 60 Day Hassel Free Returns. No problem, I would return the too small one and reorder a size larger.
Ensured that all tags were still on the item and Returned Hoodie, had to order a more expensive one because they were out of the one I originally ordered.
On Jan 14,2017, I received a message back saying that they had received my order back but would not credit me back because it was customized order, and it was a worn/used item, and that it had not been returned within the return policy time frame. That advised that they would donate the product.
The item I purchased and returned had no customizing to it, had all the tags attached to it and was returned within 30 Days. Of course I didn't have the hoodie. I wish now that I had of taken a picture of the product prior to returning it, maybe I would have had something that I could of used to fight being swindled out of my money.
Purchased a replica custom yankees away jeresey by mistake I called MLB store to cancel the order and get an upgrade to the authentic jersey. My order was still proccessing. The guy said I cannot do that I have to wait for the replica jeresy to come which takes 2 weeks to return it and then I could return it which takes 10 maximum to get my money back. I said by the time I get my money and get the correct jeresey the mlb season will be over. He gave me two options by another jersey the one I originally wanted or wait for the process to return it. I asked to speak to a supervisor to further explain why I could not cancel my order even though it was still proccessing. He said I can put in a request to talk to them which takes one to two business days. He also said all customer jersey were final from the moment you push the button and accept. I continued to tell him that my name wasn't on the jersey but a players name on the team was (Clint Frazier #77) which I picked because they gave a list of players names and numbers to put on the jersey. He said rules are rules it's still a custom jersey. I said I will likely not do business with them again and in a manner of speaking he said oh well.
Order from this website if you want to wait a month for your stuff. A delivery date that keeps getting pushed farther and farther out. STAY AWAY!
If you email customer service expect a rude smart $#*! response. Also even before covid it took 4-8 weeks to get a purchase. I use other sites now.
Answer: I would send it back if I were you and demand a refund. Full refund (shipping costs that you paid them too)
