My experience with Shoes for Crews was terrible. I ordered my shoes, and had to return them after receiving them. I call customer service and am told I will be refunded the full price. I clarify this with customer service 3 times. I am reassured that I will receive my full refund. After I return the shoes, I wait for my refund, I see I only get $40. After speaking with someone today, I was only now informed that I will not receive my full refund, because they will be charging me $15 out of my refund, for the cost of return.
If this is their policy, I understand. But after being told 3 times that I would receive $55 that I paid, then only today being told I'm only getting the $40! If I had known I would be charged and then given the run around, I would have kept the shoes. We at my business always use Shoes for Crews, for many years. After this experience I will encourage my friends and fellow employees to not buy from this company anymore, and if they have to, a return is more hassle than the shoes are worth!
Bought leather loafers that were supposed to be M width but came looking and feeling like a Wide width. The look online looked very classic. Got them and they looked very clunky and cheap.
Returned them the very next day via the label provided. I used AfterPay so that was a good service.
They got them on a Friday. I called on Saturday, the 1st Customer Service Rep told me that there wasn't any returns on my account & I would need to provide him with a tracking number which I didn't have on me.
Called back 30 minutes later after checking the tracking number and seeing they got them the day before. This new rep told me, no, we never need your tracking number, just your address. He saw the return in the system. The original rep just didn't want to do his job. So this rep supposedly processed my refund and said it will show up on my card within 3-5 business days.
Nothing 10 days later. I call Back and the new rep says she sees I have returned they shoes and my return is just sitting there unprocessed. She expedited the processing. Instead of getting the $17 return to my card, I got charged an additional $2.
I go to AfterPay now thinking they processed wrong. They said talk to Shoes For Crews. I call and no one bothered to tell me that my original shipping plus a $6.95 restocking fee will be charged to me for returns. When I purchased the shoes, NOTHING popped up explaining the restocking fee.
Got me for $20. Never again.
To late they charge for 2 days delivery and take 5 days that's no fear pay more and get you shoes in 5 days como on
You sent me the wrong size. I sent them back and I got charged. Never will I ever buy from you again and I will tell everyone I know, never to buy from you. Your customer service is terrible along with you policy. You wasted my time and money while making money off of me. You should be ashamed and I hope I hurt your business.

Tried to order shoes out of stock, that was in stock a week away. Company site kept changing the in stock date every 2 weeks. Tried to email company about my shoe order as my order number wasn't working and I had no other emails about my orders for almost a month. They did not answer my question about my delivery date but instead told me when the shoes would be back in stock. Not what I asked for, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After waiting the said date I did not get any response so I asked for a cancelation and refund. Waited a whole week and no response. Had to email them AGAIN from their site to get an short answer that my order had already been canceled. No comment about the refund but looking at my bank statements shows that I had gotten my money back a couple of days after i order my shoes, which leads me to believe they canceled my order long ago. No apology at all for the lack of communication. Basically, just order from amazon. Its cheaper, and less hassle of whatever this was.
I ordered a pair of shoes too small. I wanted to do an exchange for the bigger size, but unfortunately couldn't wait for the new size and be without shoes for work. I let the exchange expire and in the meantime placed a new order for the bigger size. Once those came in, I set up a RETURN for the smaller size. They sent me a NEW label for the return and almost two weeks after the exchange expired I sent them out. I just received an email an EXHANGE is taking place and I called immediately. They said they see where I made the exhange initially and the expiration didn't actually matter and there is nothing they can do. They had no answer as to why when my return label was scanned it even prompted for an exhange. The barcode and confirmation tracking was totally separate. It's been 30 minutes since the exchange started and conveniently my box is already on the truck and on the way to me. They said I'm going to have to set up a RETURN again once I receive those. The first woman I spoke to said a supervisor would call within 2 hours and the next gentleman told me I might receive a call before 9PM (almost 10 hours). I should have just bought a pair from Walmart and saved the headache from this nightmare of a company.

I have bought Shoes For Crews shoes since I started working as a waiter over 20 years ago because they were really comfortable. They weren't very stylish back then but they were very comfortable and lasted forever.
I recently bought another pair of SFC shoe and they aren't as comfortable as they were 20 years ago. It seems like they use a new insole that doesn't give the same comfort cushion anymore. If I even wear these new shoes for 2 hours walking or going to the gym it hurts my feet. I didn't realize this until I changed to my other Addidas or Nike shoes. Their shoes are junk now. I have only had these new shoes for about 6 months and it is destroying my feet.
I also bought their other shoes that they carry from different designers, which are better designed and with better insoles.
Lastly, what is disappointing about SFC now is that they will delete all negative reviews. They deleted two negative reviews from two different shoes I reviewed.
Unfortunately I don't support this kind of controlled reviews from any websites.
I have been ordering shoes from this company for over 20 yrs.
Normally I call my order in but I decided to try online thinking it would be faster & easier... NOT! Is was easy right up until I clicked on the words purchase your order. The size of the shoe changed at the same time I hit purchase. I literally called their 800# within 2 minutes of placing the order, I was told they could not stop order & I could just make an exchange. They claimed later that the shoe size I ordered was discontinued. 4 days later After receiving the wrong shoe size I called 800# to make exchange, I had to fill out form order exchange size, it was just THEN I was told that style & size no longer exist, but for more money I could get something similar. I said no thank you then I'll just take a refund. I was then told there would be a $6.95 restocking fee & I was responsible for the shipping as well, REMEMBER THESE SHOES THAT I ORDERED NO LONGER EXIST.
So I have to pay roughly $16 for something I could never have received in the first place.
Worst customer support I have ever received. First, I was sent the wrong shoes--different style and size. I called, explained that I needed these shoes ASAP for work, and they apologized profusely, absolutely SWORE that they would put the correct shoes in the mail instantly. I had been upset, but they were so sorry and sincere that I figured it was okay.
Weeks went by, no shoes. I thought maybe the holidays were making things crazy, so I waited patiently even though my work was seriously annoyed that I didn't have the right shoes. Finally, exactly one month after I placed the order, I called and was told that the shoes were no longer available in my size, so they canceled the order AND DIDN'T TELL ME THEY HAD CANCELLED IT.
The guy I talked to this time calmly said that yeah, they should have let me know, sorry. He could not have sounded more bored or less concerned. I am furious and will never do business with this company again under any circumstances, and will encourage everyone else not to either.
No returns after 30 days even if the shoes are un worn. Terrible policy. Out $100 and shoes are worthless.
I placed an order for two pairs of shoes for a new job with 2 day priority shipping. I placed this order a week in advance as a precaution. The two days pass with the order still showing at the warehouse. I called and was informed there had been a mistake and they had not been shipped. They then told me they needed to investigate the matter and this would take 3-5 business days AND this team does not work on the weekends! I am still perplexed on why it would take 3-5 business days to figure out that the shoes did not ship, as it took us a matter of seconds to hammer this out on the phone. The fact that it takes this company 3-5 business days to figure out an order did not ship is a perfect example of why customers should be leary of doing business with this company. I then asked for them to cancel the order and they told me they could not cancel an order that was being investigated. So now I was left with no shoes and could not cancel the order. I spoke with a manager and the only thing they would offer is to refund the shipping and send the order out with "free" two day priority shipping. I asked if they could upgrade me to next day shipping and they said I would have to pay the difference between two day and next day shipping. I am now SIX days past the date I was suppose to receive my shoes with no shoes for my first day of my new job. Absolutely horrendous customer service! They have no regard for taking care of their customers and several people I spoke with offered no apologies whatsoever, while being just outright rude. I will never place an order with this company again, and I caution anyone reading this review to beware of this company that cares so little about their customers.
The shoes are very uncomfortable and deteriorate very quickly - two months. They charge to return defective shoes.
Don't fall for the 30 day return. No one to talk to except the person on the phone. No effort to retain a customer.
I'm gonna condense this store as much as I can. Bought a pair of shoes - Shoes A. They were good for what they were and wore them for my job for about a 6 weeks. The sole started falling off so I called and told them. Shoes A were covered under a manufacturing warranty and I was able to exchange them. Instead of getting another pair, I decided to change up and got Shoes B.
I received them and unfortunately, they were too small. But luckily they have a 30-day, no-hassle guarantee that allows you to exchange them for the correct size. When I call, they, of course, say that it's no problem and go to give me a return label. But alas - these shoes were purchased over 30 days ago.
I try and try and TRY to explain that no, these are only around 14 days into the 30-day guarantee (it took me a while to start the exchange process due to my hectic work schedule). They told me I was pushing 60 days past. Turns out they were using Shoe A as the date of purchase.
Meaning that the VERY MOMENT they sent me Shoe B, I was already PAST the 30-day guarantee window.
I called them and refused to hang up until I spoke to someone higher. I stayed on the phone for an hour going round and round. They only reiterated that it was past the 30 days and they couldn't help. Never mind I didn't want a REFUND. I WANTED the shoes - I just wanted them to FIT.
Add to that - when I explained this to the HR guy at my work, he yelled at me for bad-mouthing them and wouldn't help me. I now have a $100 pair of shoes that don't fit. Money is tight enough without this horrible loophole they used to get out of honoring their guarantee. This company failed miserably and I deserved better.
On June 14th I purchased a pair of socks and shoes for my sons birthday. We received them June 19th. It is July 22nd, 3 days past the 30 days return policy. This company is a joke about satisfaction guaranteed. My son had an allergic reaction to the socks so I attempted to return for the $30 back. They are expensive socks, otherwise they would've just been trashed. So the first rep said it is 3 days past the 30 day mark, understandable but give me a break it's 3 freaking days. I ship stuff out for a living that also has a 30 Day Money Back Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy as well and if 3 days past the mark it wouldn't even be close to an issue. So this is the first excuse they give, and I explained these were a birthday present and were not given to him on the 19th, he didn't even open until a couple days later. Didn't matter. So I said okay if you can't help put a manager on the phone. This guy was even more ridiculous, pathetic and A LIAR. First excuse, 3 days past the 30 days, okay and then I came back with the, give me a break, it's only 3 days. Then he said OH NO, the 30 day money back return policy starts the day the item is ordered. I said EXCUSE ME. That is not a 30 day warranty. You can't possibly start a 30 day warranty when the item isn't even if the persons hands. I called BS on that. So his 3rd and final excuse was, these are worn socks and won't don't take back used items. I said oh really, well if that is the actual case then why didn't you explain that from the get go. If that is also the case why did the rep before you not tell me this, maybe you should better train your employees because you're doing a horrible job. He was totally full of crap and there is no talking or reasoning with these people. I told him his company is a joke and hung up. As much as my sons raves about the shoes we will find another company to order from. Also they should learn how to speak English as you are in the UNITED STATES!
Well I don't even know where to start supostle they send my shoes sense 5/19/2020 till now I haven't receive nothing they say my shoes got lost, so I being asking for my money back, they just keep giving me excuses and no money back so supostle I spoke with a manager he told me if I wanted my money back or my shoes I told him I wanted my shoes because Ireally really needed for work so he faked that he was getting my address and email, phone number that was on the 6/6/2020 and I just call again after being calling them for 100 times I ask the operator I just checking to see when I will be getting my shoes that I got resent he ask for my address I give it to him and now he toldme that he couldn't find that address or the email that the MANAGER got food he can resent my shoes I pay more then $125 for my shoes they weren't free so I'm so mad, w can they take the money from customers and don even bother to give the money back be careful when y'all order SHOES For Crews they like to still money from customers and I give them 1 star because they don't let you submit the review not because they deserve one star they deserve nothing.
