Already 15 times I use Shipito and very satisfied. Very fast DHL shipping, but a bit expensive. It's a good way to send light packages from the United States.

Terrible customer service, constant lies, extremely slow service. 2 months has now passed, and I still haven't received my item. I will never use again.
I used them to try an order a jumper from the US using the assisted purchase service. The FAQ says it can take up to 5 days for an order to be processed, so that's fair enough. I paid in full the deposit for the price of the jumper for the assisted purchase and I ended up waiting a whole month, and at the end of the day they couldn't do it. It takes them usually nine business days (2 weeks) to go onto the website and have a look, and by that time everything's out of stock. This one time, i lucked out and ever after waiting 2 weeks, it was still in stock, so they asked me to increase the deposit to account for california sales tax... only there wasn't any way for me to do that on the website, and the system wouldn't let me. I opened a support ticket to tell them that and they just told me the item was out of stock again. Terrible. Now I am getting a refund, but that means I am down $5 with nothing to show for it. Definitely do not recommend.
I live in Canada and I ordered an Amazon Fire TV that is not currently available to Canadians.
Since I had to ship it to a US address I sent the product to Shipito and then had it reshipped via Airmail to my address in Canada.
I picked Airmail since by definition Airmail means that is shipped by a plane not a pack mule or a hiker walking to Canada. Actually either of those scenarios would be faster.
What Shipito does is ship the product to Belgium, probably on a container ship. In Belgium it's reshipped out back to Canada.
This process takes, as per their statement, 24-40 DAYS! Days not hours. This turn around time is hidden on their website and is not obviously stated.
It's absolutely insane that any company would purposely ship a package more than 7000 miles out of its way to get to its destination.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
When they receive a restricted item, they have the right to do not ship it
BUT, when you send them prepaid shipping label and ask them to stick on package in order to pick up to send to another Address in USA (not international), they reject and ask you to re divide the consolidated shipment and pay for each shipment 5$ special request and send them Prepaid AWB for each shipment

I have moved to Ship7.com they are much better and smoother in dealing with Dangerous Items

There are many other companies that offer these services, use them, NOT Shipito. Deceptive practice, non existent customer service, refusal of refund.
(forwarding address in system, they opened my parcels, took photos, confirmed delivery address, provided a charge, I paid them the money, then on dispatch said item couldn't be sent to Australia. Generic response about restricted items that are listed on website, when asked
Where they are displayed as can't find, no response. Item is question has a TINY treated wood frame, wood restricted. Seller sent another exact direct to Australia, arrived within 4 days, through customs with correct declaration form, no issues - still waiting for Shipito to respond and a replacement item has been received where they claim they can't send?).
Now my money is in 'credit' to them, even though I will NEVER use this service again, simply for their business practices and they stopped responding to be services tickets when refund was requested as they had inspected the item with the known delivery address, asked for a specific amount, which was paid, then rejected, but no refund?

Contrary to what I read here, service is not that bad. I am not using service for a long, and maybe that's the reason. It might improved in a recent years, idlk. But it solves a real problem, and it works. Even their slowest shipping method(Air Mail economy) worked really well for me. Package arrived intact within ~15 days(and I initially expected it would take like 2 months). You mileage may vary depending on where you live, considering there could be real customs and local post delays.
UI could be a bit confusing for technically inexperienced users, and maybe that's why a lot of people are complaining. Or some of the users do not understand how this service really works.
Sometimes it takes some time after package is delivered for real to their whorehouse, until you can see package on their website. They could speed up a bit this processing, and this is my only complain so far. I just hope my experience stays positive in the future too, fingers crossed there would be no misplaced or lost packages for me.

Couldn't believe how quickly my parcel arrived to Australia. On the same day that my parcel left Shipito with DHL, I had another parcel shipped from within Australia to me through our national postal service (Australia Post). The parcel from Shipito, on the other side of the world, was delivered by DHL two days earlier than the parcel I had shipped from within Australia. What's more, DHL actually delivered my parcel on a Sunday, only four days after it had left The States. Now that's what you call service!
I wanted to return an item and did a $5 'special request' to get them to put the Ralph Lauren return label on the box and post it via USPS.
The item was never posted. I spent two weeks in chat and every time they would say, "I'm sorry for the delay, I'll message the warehouse right now for you".
Don't be fooled, nothing happens. The Customer Service people in chat act sincere, but nothing ever happens.
After two weeks, I worked out that I was being ignored because they wanted me to use the delivery services Shipito gets a cut from. I could not use the USPS to ship from Oregon to North Carolina. Shipito only offered FedEx at a cost of $18.15. Add in the $5 special request fee and it cost me $23.15 to return something which cost $45.
Plus I wasted two weeks doing live chats every day, being misled into thinking the problem was solved, only to find out that my package was never posted.
I did some research online and found that HopShopGo.com and Shipville.com have cheaper shipping rates. Perhaps their customer service is better too! I have used Shipito.com for years but now I have had enough. Since the private equity company took over, prices have gone up and the service only pretends to be helpful - the customer service agents cannot make anything happen.
DO NOT TRUST THIS FORWARDER, I LOST A PACKAGE WITH THEM, ALL MY 9 CONSOLIDATED BOXES WORTH $5000, weighing 75kgs. I dont know why that BIG package was lost. They will not entertain TICKETS you submitted. Blocked me with their CHAT. Cannot call them too! WORSE EVER! IVE BEEN MESSAGING THEM FOR 10 CONSECUTIVE DAYS! NO REAL ANSWERS AS TO WHERE IS MY PACKAGE!

I might understand some of the criticism. But they're not so bad.
Very quick to slam you and tell you whatever the problem is is your fault, but anyone whose got an ex-girlfriend should know how to deal with this.
Do get everything mailed to you under your name and have no variance on payment address or anything details as much as possible as they are very sensitive.
Get everything shipped to you in tracking, and put your tracking numbers as expected packages. Double check your packages as they can be sloppy at times, but hold loose items upto 90 days for them to make your way to your box.
Ive shipped about 8 parcels, big ones consolidated and all, and the service has been pretty good. They take photos of everything. Are quick and fast with the necessities you would want from a shipping service.
Be wary of the 2.5 per item and +2 on consigning each item. Im not sure how they stack up against competitors but cant really see it being that much of a difference.
Overall can be a sensitive service, but if youre clean and process all your tracking numbers, the options speed and service makes up for it.

I have used the services of this company to send me a phone. Package was hold on in their warehouse for more than week without any message/notice. Even the shipment and all the necessary documents were agreed and paid. After 7 days they reported me as the security issue and asked me for the invoice and my documents. This was not even their concern. After one week they released my package. But my package was not deliver directly to USPS but via service of the third party shipper. After two more weeks of no updates I have asked again, and after the third message they updated the location to Las Vegas which is more than 500 miles from me. I expected this company is able to deliver me the package in 4-5 weeks but it is not the case! Distance from Oregon to San Francisco is not around the globe. And definitely not through the Vegas! I leave USA this weekend and I have to leave very expensive phone as the gift for my sister in USA because of this company. Do not use Shipito if you need any reliable services. I have multiple experience with this company like this.
I have been a Shipito customer since 2012. While there have been hiccups along the way (including for example a package that was shipped to Russia instead of Australia and got lost over there), I never complained before.
However, most recently they charged me twice to send the same package to Australia and I ended up paying $241.42 handling and shipping costs to Shipito (plus shipping costs within the US to get items to Shipito) for a package worth $650. Customer service has been completely unresponsive for weeks and there has been no reimbursement for the double shipping fees.
They used to be quite OK, but costs are going up and customer service is going down. I will not ship packages through them again.
Update:
After more than three weeks of no information and no responses to my various emails, customer service suddenly reimbursed the double shipping charges. Bottomline: What could have been easily resolved within a day or two dragged out for several weeks and caused significant frustration and delay in shipment. I upgraded my Overall rating from one to three stars, but maintain that this was one of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time.
