I had 2 items ordered. 1 came in like it should. The other was shipped out on 9-16 and was stalled in TN on the 19th today's the 29th and I just received it. After calling multiple times to find out what happened to my package. They had every excuse as to why no supervisor was available to talk to me or that disclaimers said this or that when it didn't. The whole call was to let them know for 9 days my package didn't move and they needed to find out why for some reason it is all a standard thing for it to take so long for me to receive it? Never have I been told that one before oh and thank goodness it wasn't breakable because my box was smashed and 10 layers of tape added to one side.

I had ordered a pair of boots ($160.59) btw and I got 2 day shipping! I was really happy to get them, I opened them up and they had a huge tare in the toe area. So my mom called and talk to a girl named PARIS and she had told my mom she was gonna over night me and another pair on MONDAY well it's Wednesday and I still got nothing. So I've called 3 times including talking to somewhat of a "supervisor" which in my opinion she shouldn't have that job if she's gonna hang up on customers and have an attitude because I waited DAYS for a phone call for my 160$ BOOTS to come in. Whoever she is needs to take some customer service classes and a manners class because that girl had an attitude and she was rude and not to mention she HUNG UP ON ME TWICE. RUDE.

I ordered a jacket and found it to be to large. I returned the jacket requesting a smaller size in accordance with their return policy. It's been several weeks and despite 3 phone calls and 1 email they can't provide a current status of the jacket exchange. I've talked to three different customer service representatives who had no clue as to the status but all three told me I would probably hear from them next Tuesday. That was three consecutive Tusdays ago. I hope someday to get the jacket and will never purchase another product from Sheplers. They need to send a Sheplers executive to LL Bean for training on how to deal with customer returns.
Sheplers is a scam. They promise free shipping until you check out. Even when you pay for shipping it takes 3 weeks! Snail mail. Customer Service is useless. They have an attitude and are bothered that you dared to contact them! The on line prices are different then the stated prices. They make them up as they go. The discounts they claim are so confusing you never actually receive them. Quality is very inconsistent and one would think for the prices they charge the quality would be perfect. Again, STAY AWAY!

On Sunday, July 24,2016 my wife placed an order for two pairs of boots with a total cost of approximately $218. Sheplers confirmed the order and placed a charge against our bank account in the amount of the order. A few days later, another charge in the amount of $89 -- the price of one pair of boots -- hit our bank account. Then, yet another charge for $128 hit our account.
When I called Sheplers' Customer Service line, I was told that charging a customer at the time of order was their standard procedure to ensure the money is available in the account and that the "hold" would be released later. In the mean time, they also charge for each item as it is shipped. This means that Sheplers had effectively tied up nearly $450 of my money for a transaction that should have only cost $218.
I searched this vendor's website for any notice of this policy, but could not find any mention of it. By "holding" a customer's funds, Sheplers is opening customers open to overdraft charges and other bank penalties. When the order was initiated by my wife, we had plenty of money to cover the charge, But, because Sheplers is effectively double charging -- albeit temporarily -- they are placing their customers in harm's way financially.
Further, customer's are not informed of the "hold" so they cannot give consent. A non-consensual charge is called fraud in my book. Any fees levied by my bank because of this ill-conceived practice will be brought to the company's attention for reimbursement.

I got them in New Zealand in under two weeks that was fast will order again.

Do not order from this company if you live in Hawaii and need or want your order in any kind of reasonable time frame. I placed an order in early June, for items I needed for early July... It is now 40 days past my order placement and I still don't have all the items I ordered (and paid shipping for) so much for 5-8 days delivery for noncontiguous USA... and BTW there is also no such thing as next delivery to Hawaii either... because I was in a pinch I foolishly ordered 3 of the items I wanted most urgently and was told it would be sent out NEXT DAY The company sent out the label that said NEXT DAY and somebody slapped a 2 day delivery label over it... I didn't get the delivery until 6 days later after my event. All customer service had to offer me was Im sorry but we are not the delivery company... well they subcontract the delivery company AND they don't post any of this clearly on the website... VERY DISAPPOINTED and still waiting for all of my order to arrive so that I can return it!
Bought a $44 belt, paid $29 shipping plus another $17 shipping once it hit the Canadian Border. Shipped by UPS which ALWAYS doubles handles their shipments. Notified Sheplers, first contact was reception, she couldn't care less. She said she could pass it on to Shipping Dept. but only after I offered her my Order Number. SHEPLERS does not appear to understand that articles under $100 don't have to pay duty therefore, a broker is not required. Being a very frequent online shoppers and buying MANY of our items from the US, direct postage is the usual route. The kicker being, when UPS Canada receives the item, the broker sends the item via Canada Post. Conclusion, DON'T EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE - Experienced worst Customer Service Ever!
Still waiting on my order to arrive is by far the slowest company I've ever have dealt with far as getting you the product you had order! Have received items from over seas quicker than this. Very disappointed. Never again
The single worst online buying experience I've ever had. Tried to exchange for a new size. Haha. I won't get into details, but after over a month, I gave up and ordered from BootBarn. I did get my refund (minus shipping) but I didn't want a refund. I honestly don't know how this company is in business. Definitely not up to par with today's shipping and customer service expectations.

I ordered a ton of items from sheplers excited to receive them. They came in the mail late, in three separate packages, one missing an item. I emailed about the missing item and it is like they don't speak English... completely mis read my email and responded with a whole different answer talking about how the missing item was in a different package. Not true. The item was missing completely. I explained that and they said they would file a missing item report. I said no, just send me the item! They didnt respond. Horrible horrible customer service.
Another item that was in a package was the complete wrong size. It said Medium on the package, but was an XL. Another item didnt fit but I wanted to exchange it. So I sent in the 2 items, one as an exchange, one as a return. I decided, "Screw Shelplers" and want to change the exchange item to a return item so I don't have to deal with their customer service. So I call to do that, and the lady has no idea what I am talking about. I had to ask if I had to give her my order number or how we can change that. She was just silent on the end of the phone when I explained what I wanted. SILENT. Then she forgot what I asked and said later after I gave her my order number "Wait, what do you want?"
I am absolutely appalled by Shepler's. TERRIBLE service, horrible all over.

Over a month after I placed my original order and still NO EXCHANGE. The return shipping label is super slow.
Seven days after they received my exchange they finally refunded my money, short $10.00. How convenient for them! Bunch of Scammers!
Then they send me an email stating that my exchange order has now been cancelled.

I sure wish I had read the reviews before ordering my husbands hat for Christmas 2015! I was told I could exchange the hat if I had determined the wrong size. What a joke! I returned the hat and called and called! Each time I was promised the new size was on the way. That became a repeated bunch of lies. Finally after months of waiting they refunded me and told me the item was discontinued. I agree DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!
Ordered a pair of boots. When they arrivedo I wore them in my house on carpet for less then an hour to check fit. The toes on the black circle g boots scuffed to white. Sheplers would not stand behind their products and the same day they arrived I asked to e turn due to inferior, shoddy product. They said I broke the warranty by wearing them. NEVER NEVER will I order from this company agsin. I now have a pair of black boots that look like $#*! before I've ever wore them out.

The shipping was real fast I was surprised when I got them faster then 5 days! They only had one size left so I bought my size though I would have bought a size bigger in a moccasin boot. I thought the leather was not as soft as it looked or reported in details but it was still good leather, the biggest surprise was that the Durango boot was made in China! What? Vote for Trump maybe we will get our manufacturing back from China and get better quality!
Answer: I think ur probably better off buying thick wool socks that's what I did when I got the wrong size from here I just bought some big wool socks and now they fit great.
