I have been shopping since they started and now I can't get one simple answer for one order. I purchased a few things back in March of 2024, and after three months, I emailed customer service and left a comment under their Instagram post, trying to get their attention along with another commenter. Everyone knows supporting small businesses is not cheap. Now that I have gone back to check again, it seems that not only are they out of stock when I'm still waiting (anniversary sale), but all my account information seems to have been deleted. This is my third or forth time trying to get a hold of customer service. I did not want to do this, but Shea Shea Bakery has to do better for your customers.
I made an order back in April it's July I been trying to contact them about my refund no one will answer my emails or anything. I don't know why y'all cut the customer service off anyways that was a terrible idea. So I would like to get a refund since this is the only way I can get in contact with y'all through a review website. My order number is *******.
I have been waiting for multiple orders from March 2021 and it's nearly June 2021. I understand a crisis happened because of the pandemic but this company should not have taken so many orders and even offered a SALE if they couldn't fulfill these orders. I will not be patronizing them again! My emails to customer service go unanswered. Just horrible business!
Bottom line, I ordered over 75 dollars worth of so-called bakery candles and never got my products. Oh, of course my account was drafted but no merchandise. I contacted She's Shea Bakery via social media, customer service, and via email. I finally filed a dispute with PayPal and got my money back. This type of practice angers me. And the fact these creeps never even bothered to respond to me.
Made my purchase 6 weeks ago and I never got my confirmation email, but they took my money. I emailed around 4 weeks in about not getting an email and I never got a reply. Once the 6 week mark hit I tried getting on their website and it was shut down! I went on their Instagram and they've been inactive and supposedly will relaunch 10/01/21. I tried to email the same email again and now it is inactive. Relaunch or not, I'm never purchasing from here again. They take too long, they're not responsive, and there was NO WARNING to customers about them closing their website down on any social media.
I spent over £200 pounds just to try their products and support a fellow black owned business. I am truly sooo disappointed, that I never received none of my items! I ordered in March, it's currently September 17 th & I have nothing!
This is absolutely disgusting, please stop blaming the pandemic and take accountability. I wish there was a way to report this company. If you can't produce the goods then please issue your customers a refund, it's that simple.

I placed an order and after a few months never received my order. I tried contacting them on Facebook, email, phone no response. Filed a report against the company and got my money back. Once I filed a complaint all of a sudden they magically responded then deactivated their email shortly afterwards. They need to shut down!
Made a purchase on March 12th when the expected ship time was 4-6 weeks. We are now coming up on three months - 12 weeks total and I still have no idea on when my products will arrive. Is it a pandemic? Yes. Do I understand that shipping may be delayed? Yes. But this is ridiculous. The customer service is petty and rude in their responses. If I was the business owner, I would have my team provide nothing but sincerely apologetic responses. Instead, everything is snarky and not understanding of the customer's frustrations. I received an email stating I'm 1 of 1,695 orders remaining and I have the option to cancel my order. After waiting a whole trimester for these candles, there's no way I'm cancelling. Even after their relaunch, I will not be a returning customer. This company will run itself into the ground.
I placed my order May 6th. $89. May 31st, I get an email update saying that the site was about to close down and if you chose to wait, you would get the chance to get a free item next time you order. Which is great, I guess. They also said customer service would be closed from June 4th to June 25th. Its August 4th, and their customer service is STILL closed. I didn't mind waiting, but 4 months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait with no updates, no way of contacting the business, and no way of getting my money back. I love supporting small businesses, especially black owned but if you can't handle responding to your customers regularly and within a decent amount of time, running a business might not be the right goal.

I placed an order over 3 months ago and they still haven't shipped my order. I sent them an email and got no response. I even tried calling them and every time I call them it goes straight to voicemail even during business hours. I can't get anyone to tell me where my order is and I can't dispute it with my bank because I don't bank with the same bank anymore
I love this company! I think the bad reviews are from a lady who tried to steal the owners copyrights. They said something like that on their page. Anyway I've been buying for 5 years and never had a problem receiving orders! My 16 year old suffered from severe acne and the clearing kit healed her almost completely in Less than 2 weeks. Best company for great skincare on a budget.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about the shopping speed but they fail to realize we're in the middle of a pandemic so there needs to be consideration when it comes to shipping times. I ordered back in December 2020 and got my order after the new year, but I didn't expect it in time for Christmas at all. Everything smells absolutely divine and I love how I can use the butters in my hair, it's been loving it (and so has my boyfriend!) I just placed another order. I say to give it a chance and to support black-owned businesses!
My heart sunk when I was told of some of the issues they've been having due to the pandemic and personal tragedies. This made my wait of a few candles and body butters seem almost inconsequential compared to what other people are going through right in this country. I received my order and everything was beautiful! I had to come and leave a review for you all because so many people disregard how truly wonderful these creations are.
I'd also like to say I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't even imagine Sarah how you are able to deal with all of this. I pray God blesses you and your remaining team with the strength to make it through this. The enemy is strong, please keep your head up and continue to press on. There are so many supporters behind you that want to see you succeed and you've built such a strong brand that we all want to see blow up one day. Your talents are truly a treasure.

I just received the best candles I've ever purchased in my life and that's saying a lot! Design, smell, execution. GENIUS! The customer service team are so helpful and seem to be up til super late to help you out, I've messaged at close to 3am twice and still got an almost instant response. Ordered arrived just when they said it would, a little under 2 weeks but for this kind of stuff that's a perfectly adequate amount of time to wait. Will try expedited next time because I'm super impatient lol. Thank you guys!

I purchased some candles and bath bombs for my wife and daughter, a little hesitant due to a review I read on this site. So glad I went ahead with it anyway. Everything was packaged well and looks amazing. My daughter and wife now rave over this place and will probably soon proceed to drape our home in these bakery items. Would highly recommend, can't wait to order for Christmas gifts. Shipping did take 3 weeks but we're in a global pandemic people, this is life now. I ordered a camera from Amazon and still have not received it, going on week 4. I can only imagine making candles like the ones they make would take some time to perfect. I'm certain I'll be purchasing again soon.
I made a $98 order because I thought the products was so neat and cool. Three weeks later no product and the shipping status never changed. After numerous emails and Instagram messages the company refunded my money. I was giving all type of excuses as to the shipping label may fell off or it could be new people working at the post office. After sending another message I was blocked from Instagram after I showed the company all the negative reviews I read. To add they also delete comments from social media pages. This company have the worst customer service I ever seen. I can spend my money else where.

The customer service is horrible. I ordered a total of 4 products. After waiting 3 weeks I finally received the package, only to find that half of my order is missing. Their products are not cheap and I expected to get what I paid for. I contacted customer service through email and have been sent through many hoops. My package had a "received in damaged condition" sticker on it and I sent all this information. Instead of issuing my refund for the products I did not receive, Vanessa tells me they have to perform an investigation. Vanessa, the customer service rep, asked me for an invoice slip that I DID NOT RECEIVE with the package. I gave her all the information I could yet I have been going back and forth with her for 2 weeks. It is unfortunate because one of the butters that I did receive smelt great. However I cannot order from a company who does not take responsibility for incomplete orders.
Hello Danielle, you stated your package was received in damaged condition from the shipping carrier so as we've stated in previous emails, the carrier is responsible and will be issuing a refund directly to you after an insurance claim is filed. Every package includes an invoice to prove which products were packaged inside it, which the carrier stated they have in their possession. It looks like this was already done so all you need to do is await your return for the damaged items. Thanks.
Despite going back and forth I received my replacements today. I did apologize. I was concerned because of all the other negative reviews. I just know if I order that the wait time is longer than two weeks. I only order body butters. They are worth the wait.
I wasnt sure at first if i would like this product, but i have fallen in love! It smells wonderful and my skin couldnt be more silky smooth! Best product yet! Cant wait to try more!
