Not at all happy with my most recent experience. My husband and I went and upgraded my wedding set. Over $10k on it and took a week to get after we picked it out. When I went to pick it up there was a yellow tunnel glue appearance all over the bracket. Looks terrible and incredibly noticeable. We said something and we were told it's sauter and not much could be done. We pushed the issue and he took it back to the shop and "cleaned it up" when it came back it looked the same only now the bracket was dented on a side. We pushed the issue again and ended up having to leave it and have it checked back in the shop for 4 days. When we went and picked it up everything was perfect and it looked wonderful. Now less than a week later I see on my main band in the smaller diamonds it is missing one. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed.
We got married in mexico and we went to take pictures in the ocean with the photographer, long story short the ring slipped off and could not be found. We were very sad but I thought "lifetime warrenty" no need to worry. To my great surprise when we got back and I called them they told me loss and theft are not covered but I was never told of this it was always "lifetime warrenty" and we cover everything. The sales person I talked to sends me a 400 page coverage and highlighted on page 231 states loss and theft are not covered. Had I been given this information up front and it was not hidden I would of went elsewhere and got twice the diamond size for half the price I paid a premium because if the "lifetime warrenty" expecting them to cover my butt. Please please go elsewhere. Diamonds of better quality and cheaper in almost any other diamond store I just got suckered into the "lifetime warrenty". Please don't make the same mistake I did l!
I sent my 3 boys here to buy wedding ring. My daughter recently got engaged and i wanted a necklace and earrings that matched her ring. Even though Shane Co was more expensive I thought they had good service, THOUGHT WRONG! Chatted online with sales person, completed the purchase, paid for it and waited for it to show up. I received a call the next day asking for a email which i provided. Purchase clears my banking so I assume it's on the way. 5 days later I get an email at the email address they claim they can't verify that my order was cancelled. I called the store, didn't even give them a name, acct number nothing but they knew exactly what i was talking about. Yup they canceled my paid order. I'm now stuck wedding day tomorrow and no precious gift. I asked why they couldn't simply call and ask i kept hearing was they couldn't verify my email needless to say, never shopping here again
I wrote to Tom Shane and no reply... Shane has had my ring for a simple repair of just putting stone back in for over 6 months. I still do not have my ring back. They have had it since January.
Shane's repair and customer service is not very customer friendly. I have my original receipt for my ring and shane did not want to fix it, and tried to get out of it. I was told I have a lifetime warranty to fix it. I have my original receipt. They finally said they would put the stone back in. Now it needs remade, when I call in, I get different stories about where it is. 2 months ago, I was told the vendor would be done in 2 days, then quality control and I would have it in a a week---not so. I have been told it is in Denver, then it is out of the country, but we do not know where in the world it is. I have been told by Caleb, that since shane is fixing it for free that I do not have a right to complain or be concerned it is taking over 6 months and I still do not have it. It is do not call us we will call you. Every time they say they will call about something, they do not call. I cannot depend on getting a call from someone so undependable. A lot of my friends and family know the story and are convinced my ring has been lost and they just have not told me yet.
Arleen and Dylan took great care of my husband and me. We got exactly what we wanted. They cleaned all my jewelry while we waited. We left my broken ring, one bought at a different jewelry store, and they fixed it so beautifully. You cannot even tell it was broken. They also polished it, so it sparkled magnificently. I got so many compliments. Also, on both occasions the ladies and the Service Desk were so helpful and sweet. Everyone even the security guard were very attentive and helpful.
I got my wife's bridal set sized and had the diamond I bought put it.
Csr was very condescending bad
I brought in my daughter necklace tangle ( is the last gift she received from him! He passed on Dec 2021. Jamie the jeweler did awesome in less than 5 minutes was done! Thank you guys! And awesome Matthew was awesome
I convinced my friend to go to a jewelers to address the PILE of jewelry related tasks that she'd been sitting on for some 20 years: resizing, remounting, cleaning, appraising, selling, and Shane Co was the only local jeweler open on a Sunday. We kept our consultant, Zach Sibal, very busy running around as we browsed the showroom for potential settings. He not only professionally dealt with every task and question we threw at him (and we kept thinking of more!), he also very sensitively responded to my friend dealing with the difficult emotions of her late husband's engagement ring. We left with all her jewelry fastidiously cleaned, her grandfather's ring left behind for a resizing, and a clear plan on how to pay for and custom remount a diamond, as well as a quick hands on training on how to identify hers from others. We were also warmly greeted, scheduled, and checked out by Georgia Carin, another great employee. Couldn't ask for a better experience.
I love and trust the Shane Company. I will not let any other jeweler work on my rings. They are very trustworthy and have quality. I like that I can trade my Diamond in for a better quality and get the full value I paid for my old Diamond. They helped me pick the right Diamond for my budget.
I was just at the Shane Company in Alpharetta Ga a few minutes ago - today - Weds, March 2nd 2022 at 1230 pm. I met with a representative there named Robert. I think his name tag said Ocala Florida.
Robert greeted me when I came in right away. I explained that I had a pair of earrings I had purchased there that backs kept coming off. I also had an anklet of my girlfriend's that the clasp broke. It was not purchased there.
Robert took both items back and promptly repaired and cleaned both! Even the anklet that had not been purchased there.
Robert said that happy customers is the reason people keep coming back. And good reviews like this one mean everything to Tom Shane.
Well. Let me tell you. I love the Shane Company. I have purchased MANY pieces of jewelry there. I would never even consider shopping anywhere else.
Let me end this review by saying - I'm a Shane Company customer for life!
Thanks.

I purchased a diamond ring from Shane last summer. After making the last payment I went to pick it up. Before leaving I asked them to verify the serial number on the diamond and discovered it was not the one I had purchased. After further investigation I found out Shane had sold my diamond to another customer and the one they delivered to me was of substantially lower quality and lower value. When I asked if it was standard policy that they check serial numbers before setting and delivery, they said no. All other jewelers I have since visited said it was standard policy. I demanded my money back and found a ring at another jeweler. The moral of this story is find a jeweler you trust. If you bought from Shane before reading this, make sure the serial numbers on your diamonds match what you purchased. Note: for this review, there is no selection for zero stars. Since then Shaneco posted a response saying management would contact me to help resolve the issue and we have heard nothing.
Ordered present for wife at Christmas. Promised two day delivery. Never happened. Waited all day at house. Was informed at 6:00 PM tnat it was not going to make it and would have to wait an additional day to see of it makes. Called customer service amd their answer was basically too nad so sad. Will mever do business woth company again!
I was very nervous when going and buying my engagement ring for my fiancé. The manager Charles was amazing and so helpful, he immediately gave me reassurance that I could do this and walked me through every step of the way and taught me everything I needed to know step by step. Whenever I come back to this location I will be sure to ask for Charles. 10/10 better experience than I was expecting. Cannot recommend enough!
I walked into the Shane Co yesterday in Minnetonka, MN and was looking for a particular ring. I had purchased one from there but wasn't completely happy with the way it looked on my hand. Dana LeFavor was their to greet me with a warm smile and completely went above and beyond to help me. Dana didn't just agree with me to appease me, she was honest and I could tell TRULY cared about finding the perfect ring for me. She took her time, was very knowledgeable, not pushy and I felt like I was the only one in the store. Her attention to her clients, listening to exactly what her you are looking for just blew me away. I will never go to another Jewerly consultant again. If you are looking for someone who pays attention to details. Listens to exactly what you are looking for and TRULY cares about you walking out of Shane Co with a BIG smile, then Dana LeFavor in Minnetonka, MN is your gal. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
Sincerely,
A VERY happy customer
Difficult to get an answer when you call into the Arapahoe Road office in Centennial Colorado. Very unorganized.
My husband and I both got our rings here, everytime we need service done to our rings, the customer service and turnout time is awful!
I brought back my ruby diamond ring to the Shane co. Last week (purchased in 2008) One the prongs was bent. I had the best customer service and no BS! I had my ring back to me within 1 week. It's absolutely gorgeous! I will never buy jewelry again from Costco. I'm sold on the Shane Co. Forever. I definitely have a friend in the diamond business! Gold stars for the Shane Co.
You are the best! She said YES and you made my dream ring! She was super helpful even tho I came knowing exactly what I wanted.
Maybe my expectations are too high since everybody else seems to be ok with getting bad service from ignorant staff. I have been to the Westminster store twice in the last month and it is obvious they are under staffed. Maybe they need to consider why that is and pay their people better. Jewely has a mark up of 3 to 4 times cost and since I have worked at a jewelry store before, I know they make BANK. Anyway, after selecting my item, I was left in line at the cashier area where only one cashier was working and already helping a couple. There was one other person in front of me in line. I stood there for several minutes while the only cashier answered question after question from the couple she was helping, meanwhile the phone rang and three additional customers accumulated behind me. She answered the phone while helping the same folks she had been with during this entire episode and it went like this, "No she is out on a break right now, I can take your number and have her call you back when she returns or you can try back in about 30 minutes if you like and she should be back by then. Oh, well I can help you with that, let me finish with the customer I have in front of me and I will be right back with you." She puts them on hold, finishes up with current customer (which has been taking at least 10 minutes) then gets back on the phone. Nevermind that she has six other customers that have been waiting in line since BEFORE the phone call came in. Who trained this ignorant soul? The customer in front of you is your most important focus. She very easily could have told the phone call that she had several other customers in line ahead of them and she would be happy to call them back at her ealiest availability. At no point in time did she ever look up at us in line or acknowledge us in any way. So here is how it ended, she was still on the phone while we all waited until her coworker came back from break, coworker helped the person in front of me then me then she finally got off the phone and that is when I left. Terrible terrible service! People are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on totally discretionary items and this is how Shane treats his customers.
