Excellent. From first contact via email, to further contact by phone, the experience was handled efficiently and professionally. My suitcase was picked up in London and delivered to a Melbourne address 6 days later. All in good order- I was most impressed and will use this outstanding service again

I was sending a box to Ireland which was advertised as £27, the total turned out to be a little less than £100. I entered all the correct details of the one box (size and weight). The box was collected, no issues. When arrived in the other country I got an email saying it will not be released until a payment was made because the box exceeded the amount. The box was 30x20x20 and under 30kg. I was desperate to get this box with my Newborns belongings as moved to another country. Then I received an email saying I needed to pay more for custom charges even though all the items in the box were personal belongings. Total scam.

Seemed complicated at first but if steps are followed it works. I didn't leave enough time to get bag tags (would do earlier next time) however local ups shop saved the day giving me theirs. Pick up easy! Delivery was a day early which caused bit of panic but turned out okay! Fab service all in all.

This is the first time I have used send my bag to send my daughter's personal belongings to US. The website is very easy to use and gives all detailed information and really guides you through the process. The courier arrived and collected the box which was super fast to reach LA. All in all a perfect experience.

My bag was picked up my duffle on the due day (a pick up window would be really useful) and delivered to Glasgow within 4 days. Very happy with the service. Not so happy when I tried to book return of the same bag to find that SendMy Bag would not return a duffle to the US. I did not receive a satisfactory explanation for why not.
Answer: Scam, additional charges added, no explanation and letters of demand following, this is not an ethical business.
Answer: Avoid sendmybag if you can Would give a negative rating if I could. Had 2 bags delivered, they lost one and damaged the other. On top of that are now refusing to process a claim. I have read other reviews to know they do this on a regular basis. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to operate. 0 marks for doing there job and a definite negative on customer support.

Regarding the €20 clearance fee, the following text is displayed at every stage of the order process and must be ticked in agreement to in order to place an order; "If shipping 'Personal Effects' a €20 personal effects clearance fee is payable directly to our courier partner prior to delivery being attempted.". I can only assume someone else has placed the order on your behalf and not passed this information on, but as you can see we are very clear and upfront about this customs charge. With regards to the oversize fee, all boxes are scanned in transit and fees are raised for items which exceed the size or weight allowance purchased, while mistakes are rare, we have a straight forward dispute process, which is outlined in the email sent advising of the additional charge.
