A dear friend of the family passes, scheduled floral delivery 3 days out of service and family never received flowers by morning of service. Called the company and was told one day prior found out couldn't meet delivery obligation however failed to notify me. Thank you for failing to delivery for funeral service and making me look like a jack***. Pieces of crap!
I ordered balloons for a birthday. They were never delivered. I called to check status and was told they were out for a delivery and they apologized. Two days later the balloons still were not delivered. I called for a full refund and customer service tried to convince me to accept a 30% refund with a promise of delivery. This was two days after the birthday. I said no I want a full refund. Do not use them.
Purchased an expensive premium arrangement online, what what was delivered was totally different. Half dead flowers in a tiny vase which looked like they picked up in a gas station and the balloon was missing. Was able to get through to their offshore customer service only by hitting the "florist" prompt where I was given a 50% refund on the arrangement and balloon. Never again!
I ordered a candy bouquet with 5 balloons for a male. It cost me over 100.00. The item pictured on the site looks nothing like he recieved. 2 balloons were deflated, it was in an old pale funeral floral arrangement tall basket with dollar store snack bag snacks just stacked in. A bag of chips, 2 little cans of Pringles and a few candy bars. Then it was tied with a bow that had peaches on it. I called an complained an they said the best they could offer is 15% off my order. I told them that wasn't enough. The sales rep on the phone said fine 50% off. When I looked at my refund, the still only gave me 10% off and I can't get anyone to fix it. I will never order from this company again.
I wanted to send my friend (an author) a sophisticated bouquet with the same colors as her book cover (blues and oranges) to celebrate her newest release. She lives in CA and I live in TX, so the only way we can give flowers to one another is with the help of online websites.
I was so excited to find what I thought was the perfect arrangement with orange flowers and an orange glass vase (it was literally named: Sunrise Sunset Orange Flower Bouquet). I ordered the blue latex balloons option, carefully avoiding the Mylar with the intent to keep it classy and stay in the color theme.
I waited all day for her to receive it and it arrived over an hour past the cited delivery times after I had tried to call SendFlowers (getting only an automated response) and sending an email to customer service with no answer.
As demonstrated by the images below (the one I ordered on the left, and the one that arrived on the right), the arrangement was not at all what I expected. I understand if the flowers are slightly different due to availability, but I paid for a beautiful orange tinted glass vase and simple blue latex balloons. Instead, they sent a cheap brown box with corny Mylar emoji balloons instead.
It was a very special day for my friend and she didn't even get to enjoy her gift until the day was almost over, and even then it wasn't anything close to the bouquet I'd customized for her. I'll never use this site again, and will discourage anyone I know from using it also. Instead, I'll suggest they use Bloomnation.com. They've never let me down, and always come through with beautiful arrangements exactly as pictured.
I had to give them 1 star which is generous. I ordered a candy first basket and balloons to be sent on my daughter's 18th birthday while at college. They didn't notify me until late in the afternoon on the day they were supposed to deliver them. Than I call customer service to get something else ordered. They notified me after 6pm they weren't able to deliver that either! What a waist of my time and such a disappointment.
Flowers were never delivered, I called they told me to rest assured the recipient received the flowers, I asked what address they had and the zip code was incorrect. They couldn't explain how floweres were "delivered" to a nonexistent address And supposedly received by the intended person. They said thank you for your business. $#*! them
I ordered a next day bouquet - what I got was a total disappointment. I sent company photos of what I ordered vs what I received, they gave me a $12.07! Credit. That doesn't cut it, I was ashamed to give someone that floral arrangement.
Please do not use this company! I wish I would have read the reviews! Spent 50 dollars on weeds! Actually 5 flowers! It's so sad because they were going to someone who truly deserved beautiful flowers!
Ordered flowers for me and my wife's anniversary and they never delivered. I received an email saying they delivered, but nothing ever showed up.
I figured I would try them for a 2nd time and well let's just say shame on me. I ordered early in the morning and by 5:30 pm still no delivery. When you call customer service you get someone with very broke English and speaking very fast. I lost it. All they can say is yes I'm sorry I understand. Do you really? No didn't think so. I was sent to a supervisor who tried to sway me in not canceling the order and to order MORE flowers at a discounted rate.($20.00 discount) No not happening. I told them they had 72 hours to refund the money or they would be flagged at fraud. They say it's out of Connecticut but they are really over in India. Go elsewhere, you will just be wasting your time with them. Save yourself the headache and frustration.
I ordered a balloon bouquet for my grandaughters birthday. She lives in Hawaii and I could not be with her on her special day so I decided to surprise her with the bouquet. I ordered it 2 days before her birthday. I kept checking all day and she never received the order. At the end of the day, I contacted send flowers.com and they said they would follow up and let me know when it was delivered. They never did and it was never delivered. I followed up the next day and after submitting my complaint, AGAIN, she received a small flower bouquet which wasn't even what I ordered. Although I was grateful for the flowers, it wasn't what I ordered and it was a day late. The whole point of the order was to surprise my granddaughter with something nice on her birthday, not the day after. I again contacted the company and they apologized and said they would like to honor their commitment to a valued customer and they would re-deliver the original order. They never did. I will NEVER use this company again and I wanted to alert other customers who may be interested in ordering from send flowers.com. They are extremely unreliable. Please note: I understand that things happen and I was willing to give them a chance to fix the situation, which they easily could have, but they continued to disappoint and provide terrible customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I talked to these people several times and they kept saying they were going to do 20% refund then 30% refund and gift card for $15. I told them no. Finally they said they would like to redeliver the flowers and have the correct ones sent or something similar to them. The last substitute looked nothing like what I ordered. Mind you this was 3 days after the las time I talked to them and they said they want to resend. So I got the email that said the florist doesn't have the items and they are going to substitute again. I got on with them right away and told them not to even bother just give me a 100% refund because I don't want the same little kid cheap arrangement they sent her last time. So they said ok and said they will refund me. Not even 10 minutes later I get a FaceTime call from my niece telling me she just got more flowers. She turned the phone to show me and I am livid. These look SO CHEAP! This time there is another color other than white and yellow in it but there is nothing else with the flowers my order had a cup with a bee on it and little bees throughout the arrangement. The one they sent originally had a stuffed animal in it which I didn't want at all. This one they sent this time looks like something you would buy in a grocery store and just throw in a random vase. How on earth do they think this is anywhere close to an $80 bouquet of flowers. I WILL NEVER use this company again. It has been a week since my first purchase and this is what they think is a good comparison to the original ordered. I'll attach pics of original ordered, one sent first and then the one they sent today. It's ridiculous. It would of cost me less money to google a local flower shop in her area and just order from them. I just can't believe this company runs like this. I wish I would have looked up reviews other than the obviously made up ones on their website because I would have never ordered from them. I mean seriously if I am wrong please let me know when you see the pictures. I think I have a very valid complaint with the flowers looking nothing like what it ordered. I ordered an amazing looking bouquet for my niece who was admitted to the hospital for the first time ever. I love 600 miles away so I wanted to let her know I am thinking of her. What I ordered and what was delivered are not even close to looking a like. I get that the site says that they can substitute but they also say they will stick as closely as possible with flower types to the arrangement you order. I ordered a colorful arrangement in a bee cup with little bees in the flowers. It had roses and other colorful flowers. She got a bouquet with a stuffed animal bee and yellow and white flowers and that was it. I'm so disappointed and had to explain to her those weren't what i ordered and sent her a pic of what I ordered. They offered me a $15 gift certificate and 30% refund to the flowers. This is totally unacceptable to me. I want a full refund and if they have to go back and pick up the flowers then fine take them back. They look cheap compared to the ones I picked out. Plus if I wanted a stuffed animal I would have ordered one. She isn't an infant so that is the last thing I wanted to send her. I am so angry and just want to blow up at someone. I'm attaching the order confirmation with a picture of what I ordered and the actual one that was delivered. I wanted something colorful to make my niece happy not a colorless bouquet. I am NEVER using this company again.
I sent flowers to my girl with balloons, a teddy bear and a card. She never got the bear or balloons and the "card" was a regular folded up print paper with with the words written down. This company is straight trash, dont bother. The flowers looked like crap too. At least the flowers got there I guess.
I never got what I paid for nor on the "same day." But they're so generous as to refund me $5 out of $65 for the "inconvenience." IM LIVID.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. My dying mother never received her flowers on her Birthday and they didn't refund me nor provide much help. I ordered on 7/26/21 and set the delivery date for 7/30/21. It is now 8/1 and still no flowers. They said they could try to get the flowers to her next week, maybe 8/2 or 8/3. I don't even know if she will be alive next week, I explained this to a Supervisor and she didn't seem to care, zero sympathy, zero emotion. This is a company that does not care about their customers. I was on the phone with them for the past 3 days, this time the conversation took over 35 minutes, and I got nowhere. They offered partial refunds, but what does that matter in this situation? My mom received no gifts on her birthday and I can't physically see her because of COVID. This company should go out of business. What if this had been for a funeral? I can imagine their response now: "Oh sorry, we will send an apology letter to the funeral home with upgraded flowers". No thanks. Stick to 1-800Flowers, I have never had an issue with them. No amount of upgrades or refunds can repair the damage, pain and suffering that was caused by using this company.
Do not order from these people. I ordered flowers and they were never delivered. Gave me a run a round for 4 days and every day said flowers would be delivered and the person never got them. I was so upset and sorry i did not order elsewhere as the person never did get flowers from me for her birthday. Now telling me they will refund my credit card and still no refund. All they do on the phone is keep apologizing and do nothing.
