Extremely, Underwhelming, late, and rude

Wanted to get my wife some nice flowers for valentines day and since i ordered and paid for same day delivery on the 13th of feb i figured it would be fine. I could leave them at work and give them to her the next day. They never showed. Told me by 5pm. Then i said ok fine no problem just need to switch the delivery address to my home. 8pm still no floeers, but inget an email saying that my flowers delivered which they definitelydid not! Spoke to someone and they said oh we are so sorry we will give you a free upgrade along with an apology note and it will for sure deliver on vday. So i said ok. Fair enough. Things happen. Next day. Its 4pm and still no flowers. So i contact them again...change address back to my home and tell them to just leave them on the porch. I get home at 5. There they are! And yet they are sad, small, and no apology note. There were 3 tiny roses along withabfew carnations and a bunch of berries and greenery! So obviously i did not get any upgrade. Seemed more like a downgrade!. So i reach out them them again. Amd they say were so sorry blah blah blah we will give you 20% off. I said look these floeers are not worth even half of what i paid. I saod i am willing to accept 50% and thats being very generous on my part. They the offered 30%. I said no honestly i have the right to anfull refund because these flowers are pathetic. And i didnt get them same day and i was lied to! After asking for a manager...they disconnected me! So now im doing what i told them i would avoid if they had just met my 50% refund. Do not order from them. They are not good at fulfilling orders or promises, no matter what you pay for. Im extremely disappointed in their customer service as well! I will never use their site again!

This is by far the worst experience I've had with a delivery company. Ordered a delivery of flowers, balloons and chocolates this morning, paid an additional fee to get it delivered today. Got an email this morning at 12:46pm saying they were delivered, I went to check-its not here. I called the first time, they put me on hold then informed me that there was an error with the delivery email and the delivery would be there in 15-30 minutes. I said okay accidents happen, no problem.

2 hours later at 4pm, still nothing. I emailed this time, no reply. So i called for the second time was put on hold again, just to be told that they were delayed and would be here by 5pm for sure. I was worried you would miss the delivery, I expressed this concern on the phone and they reassured me they would definitely be here by 5pm.

It is now 7pm, they are still not here. I called once again (for the third time) for them to say so sorry, we will give you a 20% discount (mind you this is for a product I STILL DONT HAVE). I requested a full refund and my displeasure that I was lied to all day and never given the opportunity to go with a different company who would actually fulfill the order. I have now missed the delivery on a special day for my coworker, have over $100 being held right now and extremely displeased.

I spoke frankly with customer service representative that this was extremely unprofessional and would like a full refund immediately, and if they would like to avoid a complaint with the BBB and a slew of poor reviews, that they should also make up for their lack of customer service, lack of timeliness of delivery (or any at all), that they should deliver the same product free of charge tomorrow.

As of right now, they are fulfilling this request to refund my entire purchase amount plus do the redelivery for the inconvenience, but with the way I have been treated thus far I have very, very poor expectations that it will even be redelivered tomorrow. If it is not redelivered, please rest assured I will be informing as many people as possible via reviews, complaints and social media of this poor experience.

Update: they ended up delivering 1/3rd of the courtesy order. Still terrible

I ordered flowers to be sent to a coworker whose husband had passed away. I placed the order on May 10th for delivery on May 12th. I missed the phone call on the 13th, but they sent an email saying they were unable to locate a florist to complete the order that day but clearly my confirmation email had the 12th. They went on to say the earliest delivery was May 17th. A complete week later. In the email they offered an upgrade to the flowers but I had already paid for the premium arrangement. What more can you do with it. Add insult to injury, the funeral was on the 15th. When I called on the 13th, I spoke with a woman who assured me they could deliver on the 16th which I asked repeatedly did she realize this was a Sunday. Of course come Monday, still no delivery. I called back on the 17th and the man I got was the most lackadaisical person I've ever talked with in life. He could care less and went on to inform me the delivery wasn't going to occur on the 17th and would now be the 18th. They would refund me 10% and stick in some extra flowers. I contacted my coworker and apologized profusely the flowers were delayed again. I asked her to take a picture of them when she got them. Initially they look fine but she said she could tell the arrangement was not made that day because some of the flowers were wilted. She appreciated the thought but I am very disappointed. The saying "You get what you pay for" speaks in volume. My coworker said most people got their flowers from Shirley's Florist in Trussville, AL which she says is close to where she lives. Not sure who Send Flowers uses but obviously no one with fresh flowers. Going forward I'll do as someone suggested is to cater a meal for the immediate family or send a e-card for a restaurant or something.

Tip for consumers:

Don't do it. If you're not in a hurry and don't care about quality, then this is for you.

Flowers were purchased for a funeral which didn't arrive until 6 days after scheduled delivery date.

Emails says flowers deliver BUT THEY WERE NOT!

On Wednesday evening, April 21,2021 I logged on and ordered flowers choosing sendflowers.com from your website. The promise made on an email to me: Dear
Thank you for your order, which is now being processed. To contact us regarding your order, please click here.
Expected delivery times are as follows:
• Residential: 9 AM - 6 PM
• Business: 9 AM - 5 PM at that time was that the flowers would be delivered on Friday, April 23 by 6pm.
After 6pm on Friday, I received an email indicating the flowers were delivered. I thought it strange that my dearest lifelong friend didn't call or text to say thank you. On Saturday, I called the Hotel to verify delivery, they had no record. I then contacted SendFlowers: they wrote:

Dear
Thank you for your recent email. We want to assure you that your order has been sent for delivery as you requested. The local florist is currently checking their delivery records, and we will contact you as soon as it is confirmed that the gift was received.

With your permission we would like to deliver your arrangement on April 24th with a note of apology explaining the delay and would be happy to call the recipient to apologize. We are also issuing you a 10 dollar gift certificate, which will be noted in your order and may be redeemed at any time on a future purchase.
Simply reply to this email and we will set this up for you immediately, and again, our sincerest apologies.

At 12:45 I received a call on my cell phone from SendFlowers 800 number. I returned the call and asked why they were calling me. They said they were calling to apologize to me, the recipient. I explained that they were using the customer, not recipient, number. The agent, Tisha, said she would call right away.

At 2:14 I received the following email -which made no cents!

With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery on April 24th with a note of apology explaining the delay, or we would be happy to call the recipient to personally apologize. In addition, we will also include a complimentary upgrade, which will increase the size of your arrangement and give it a fuller look. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I called the 800 number, Chris said they could not send the flowers on the 24th but they would send them the next day. I tried mightily to explain that the wedding was at 4 pm on April 24 and sending flowers to the hotel on the 25th would do absolutely no good - the wedding over! The guest gone home. Chris had one speech and could not move from that. We went round and round and I kept saying I wanted my money back, he kept saying he would send them on the 25h. Finally he agreed to return my money saying it was because there would not be anyone to receive them. I objected and asked for a supervisor
After 41 minutes on the phone, GiGi agreed to refund my money and said she would send the flowers to the recipient at their home. Now you tell me what good that is!

Easter Flowers

My brother was in the hospital in critical care for almost 3 months from heart surgery. While recovering it was found that he also has cancer. He was finally allowed to come home to get stronger so that he can begin treatment for the cancer. He called me and asked me to order flowers for his wife for everything she has done and continues to do for him through this ordeal. I got on line and ordered from sendflowers on Friday. They arrived Saturday, and Sunday which was Easter, I went to visit. When I saw the flowers I was so embarrassed I wanted to cry. Some of the flowers were already dead, they were cut so short I believe they were scraps from the florist. There was no arrangement, they were just stuck in a vase. Sendflowers issued a $10.00 credit for a $60.00 arrangement. Never again will I purchase from them, I am replacing the ones they sent with my own money. Truly a horrific experience.

Terrible finance service

They have the same finance rep speak to you several times even though she doesnt assist you in resolving the issue. By the way Her name is Nancy. She reads to you the buyer what is on your Note to the recipient "person the flowers are being sen to" as though its not private then based on what she reads on the note she claims its not your account After you verify all information on your credit account and sendflowers account she makes her own opinion on that its not your account and decides that you need extra level verification to send flowers to someone then denies the account being credit the money from the account but however admits to having void the transaction in 24 to 48hrs if they dont get a letter from the bank WHY WOULD I IF IM ORDERING ONLINE WANT TO GO TO THE BANK PERSONALLY FYI ""BANK STATED MONEY IS NOT ON HOLD MONEY WAS RECIEVED BY THE COMPANY SENDFLOWERS AND THERE ARE NO NO ISSUES for that I go to the store which is much cheaper and deliver the flowers myself. But Nancy beleives there is an issue because of a note you get to choose to write FOR FREE to the recipient and also she claims to be a supervisor sometimes and then not at others times depends i guess whos calling. Anyways you can go to walmart get the same flower arrangments for $4.95 tulips and roses pink $2 for a nice hallmark card and $ 4 for godiva chocolates or go proflower.com, foryouflowers.com or 1800flowersI.com or amazon.com I went with sendflowers in the past but now never again shame kn them GIVE THEM 0 STARS but in order to write the review your forced to choose a star if not guess what cant write it so NO STARS FOR ME

If i could give ZERO stars I would! DO NOT USE THIS company! I placed my order 3 days in advance for birthday gift my order was almost $100.00 which is crazy expensive but i thought this company looked legit. I get a email day before saying the florist can not deliver because the recipient address was to rural oh give me a break! Its in puyallup. Then they told me to call them and have a different arrangement sent via ups. They gave me a option of roses. I was like no... then she tells me i can have the arrangement i picked sent to my address instead. After being on hold for 20mins she tells me okay the flowers will be delivered to you. NOW today when the flowers were supposed to be delivered i get another email around 5pm saying that arrangement is out of stock but they can find a replacment! However i need to contact them directly! Is this a joke!? I did not even get a phone call! What happens if i did not check my email? I called back and being on hold again for 20mins and requested my full order be refunded to my credit card. Now my family memeber will not have her flowers on her special day! My advice call a local florist and see what your options are because these third party flower delivery sellers are just awful! And also over priced! My suspicion is this company puts "beautiful arrangements " on their website and then pretends the item is out of stock or a delivery issue so they can send a *******@ss
Replacement and pocket the money! They would not even tell me which local florist they send my order too! That is how i know it is all BS! They probably make their own arrangements from cheap low quality flowers and send them out. I find it odd that almost every review on here states that the item could not be delivered or it was not available so other "option" can be ordered!
SENDFLOWERS IS A TOTAL SCAM AND THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE BBB! I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND STOP RIPPING OFF PEOPLE AND RUINING SPECIAL OCCASIONS!
