I have ordered many blinds from SelectBlinds & have always satisfied with the product. This time, however, I had difficulty getting in touch with a person for a question. I gave up & ordered it online.thank goodness it all turned out okay.
I was able to eventually figure out the blinds but I would recommend a few things.
1. Tell the customer that the blinds has to be charged a few hours before use
2. Include the location of the plug connector in the instructions.
3. instructions should be more clear about the programming of the remote. It took me a while to figure out that the remote had to be on 1 for it to control my blinds.
I ordered two blinds (original blinds were from SelectBlinds approx. 9 years ago),to replace two I had, one broke. The blinds came, we put them up. Then saw a black spot on the one blind. I called SelectBlinds. They immediately ordered another blind. It took a little longer than expected to receive, with a need for a follow up phone call. But, the blind arrived. It is up and looks great! I will order from them again.
I knew exactly what I wanted which made searching easy. Measuring was clear and the blinds fit perfectly.
Mistake in the order was corrected promptly and reshaped asap.

Replacement blinds from a previous owner of our house
Am retired as designer and knew what I needed. I no longer have tax number etc so I just wanted it to be easy because I knew what I wanted! It was! Thank you!
For several weeks I have had my order sitting here which fell apart in transit. There is a stupid text system to communicate with customer service which is non responsive. I've also sent emails into the company with my order number attached with no response

I wish there was a way to save an order and modify the saved one, so you can order others later
This was our third order and once again the process was simple and easy and we received our blinds quickly and exactly as expected.
The dimensions were a little off and the spring form didn't snap in as I would have hoped but the shades themselves are what I was hoping for. N
My rep assisted and guided me every step of the way. I should have listened to her- the wood blinds I got for another room are my favorite. Sadly I chose the opinion of a family member instead with screen looking blinds- the raw edges came with frays on sides and look like pretty low quality. The wood blinds and the 4 1/2 inch plantation shutters, fortunately I did take the advice of my rep and they are sooo gorgeous. She tweeked many things on my order to help me make the best selection
I have ordered so many blinds from you that I order them for friends now too. They're expensive is my only complaint
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
