Have purchased blinds in the past with no problem--this time, one of the blinds came damaged but I didn't notice until I hung them about 2 weeks after arrival. Although they say to contact them with any issues within 10 days of receiving the blinds, I reached out and their customer service representatives were so accommodating! A replacement was ordered that day at no charge and shipped a couple of weeks later. The replacement is perfect (just like the other blinds I have ordered from Select Blinds) and I'm so happy with the result! Plus, the sale prices are spectacular bargains!
Order arrived on July 8th but was short the remote control unit. They ordered a new on to be sent but we have not received it rendering the shad in-operable. It has been a month since they re-ordered the remote. When contacted, they said the replacement was ordered but they don't track spare parts. Very, very disappointed.

There's multiple measurement instructions on the page, both generic (measure your windows/enter measurements, and specifications sections) and type specific (the ui under the measure and install section... That table is very confusing), but it's not clear how to decipher the information. Additionally, the design of the unselected cards (li html elements, Asset *******) under the measure and install section look exactly like disabled options and are very hard to tell what they are for low vision users (huge accessibility issue, I guess selectblinds doesn't want customers from the differently abled community). Needless to say, the corresponding content for those cards are the most important measuring information! For an outside mount, how was I supposed to know that the width I was submitting was for the width of the cassette, not the width of the shades (what?!?!)... Apparently the width should have been 5/4" over what I need. My order is for very narrow windows on French doors leading into my office so having extra width would overlay the door handle... I opened a warranty claim since each shade came 1" to narrow and doesn't even cover the window appropriately, but they were rejected due to the measuring steps I didn't see... Most of your ui updates as you're making your selections, why wouldn't the measuring information do that as well? (and that'd allow for one place for relevant measuring data to be shown to the user).

Online process was very user friendly. Quality for the price was excellent!
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
