We've ordered from Select Blinds multiple times in the past and haven't had issues, but our latest order arrived with two issues that still haven't been resolved. Select Blinds customer service has been subpar, always saying they'll get back to us in 2 days but never following up.
We ordered for two rooms - our bathroom and nursery.
The bathroom Roman shade was 66" wide and we selected the no drill mount since it worked well on a previous order that wasn't as wide. When it arrived we installed it and immediately noticed that the middle was sagging 3/8" of an inch due to the width and weight of the shade, and when you pull the shade down it feels like it is going to pull the entire shade down. The no drill mount should no be an option for shades that are over a certain width due to the weight, and if I knew this ahead of time I would have chosen an alternative mounting method. Shares of this width should only be mounted with the standard mounting method. Select Blinds passed this onto their production team after I provided photos & measurements, but after multiple attempts to follow up I still haven't been able to get an answer.
For the nursery we ordered two Roman shades in Textured White based on the website photo. However after receiving the shades we noticed that the fabric did not match the photo we saw on the website at all. The fabric we received was a tightly/solid woven white, yet the fabric shown on the website had visible texture in it. After checking the website again we noticed the same exact photo was used for 3 different fabric colors - Textured White, Simply White, and Cloud White. We mentioned this to customer service and they finally reimbursed us for the shades and said they would let us know within 2 days which fabric color was the one shown on the website photo so we can reorder, yet it is 4 days later and after following up twice we still haven't gotten a response.
We've ordered multiple times from Select Blinds and our previous orders have been great, however the latest order issues have been very frustrating.
I called to replace some blinds I had purchased 10 or more years ago from this company. They were not available now so the woman who answered found my old account to make it easy and walked me through ordering some that were the closest to what I had. I kept her on the phone a long time and she was very patient.
We have made several purchases from Select Blinds. The items have always fit perfectly and were easy to install.
We needed new mini blinds in the kitchen "breakfast nook"-style windows. To economically fill the order without repeating our original pull cords, we ordered the manual lift style on the new blinds and relied on excellent coupon rates to help out. I am short in height and thought I'd have trouble reaching over our table to maneuver both sides of the middle blind. I needn't have worried. They raise up and down evenly with ease.
They were fairly easy to install--a big plus--and look great in my living room. Hope they last a while.

After getting a quote from a local vendor of over $2200 for 2 navy soft fold room darkening roman shades, i checked out Select Blinds online. I received my blinds in good time. Instructions were clear and the size and color were perfect. I would definitely order from Select Blinds again.
I accidentally selected "Outside Mount" instead of "Inside Mount" on my order and noticed it within a couple hours of placing it. I received a reassuring email indicating I could easily make modifications in the first 24-48 hrs. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Attempting to contact them by phone (as suggested in the email) was a complete dead end - I tried several ways to navigate through the tele-menu, all of which literally robo-told me to take it up elsewhere and hung up.
I then attempted to use the live chat, made my ask as clearly as I could, and proceeded to get ultra long delays in between unhelpful responses, before finally the session just ended. Unfortunately this was just prior to a flight out of the country, so it was my last shot at getting the change through. The blinds got delivered in the unmodified config that I had tried to change and are useless to me.
I will certainly not be using this company ever again and recommend you steer clear as well.

I have beautiful windows overlooking a pind and land. I didn't want any type of window covering but my family wanted something to keep the sunlight out at certain times of the day. These blinds are beautiful and the ones we selected I can still see through which I love. I was so afraid of losing the view but these are perfect. They were easy to install and top of the line quality. I love them.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
