The wand on the blinds Does Not Work.

On 11-24-24 I spoke with Sanjay concerning the non-working wand. I sent you videos of the wand not working. Sanjay said " my video would be reviewed and I would hear back from Select Blinds in 3-5 days. It's been 15 Days and I have not heard back. I have tried to call but have been put on hold for over an hour. I have ordered 4 Blinds and have only had problems with 1. I was planning on ordering more Blinds, But I am not very happy with my experience so far.

Returning customer. Experience continues to be Great! Operating the blinds takes a little to get used to. I thought the blinds blades were Faux Wood finish but they are a heavier vinyl blade. May have been my mistake when ordering but I've decided to keep them since being installed.

My sife does miss the rod to operate the opening and closing the blinds, so I guess she's left that job to me now, even after showing her how to operate them. I have a feeling ill have to re-order the correct ones in the future. Happy Wife Happy Life 😊

I had horrible experience, I still can't get my Belinds correct,
First you guys send the wrong Belinds, and then no remote control, once I got the remote, not the Belinds shows wrong size,

Hello Abbas,

Thank you for reaching out to us! We apologize for your concerns about the measurements you received. In order to verify if your products were made correctly or not, we just need a few photos of the product from you.

For each product affected, please take 2 photos using a steel measuring tape. If the discrepancy is for the width, you will measure end to end across the headrail only. If it is for the height, you will need to fully lower the product and measure from the top of the headrail to the bottom of the bottom rail.

The first photo should show the whole product with the measuring tape going end to end and the second photo should be a close-up of the final measurement. Also, please confirm the size of the shade(s) in the response for the order you are sending photos.

Please note warranty remakes cannot be altered from the original order. If you need to change your measurement, please refer to our FIT Guarantee.

Just get the drill and screw blinds

I opted for the no drill option and I was quite taken back by the plastic mechanism that's supposed to provide the locking mount. All very flimsy and cheaply made apparently. I broke several of the arms just trying to install. I ended up throwing a couple screws in each blind as the whole project was kind of in jeopardy due to the fit and engineering. Anyway they're up but they've got screws in them.

The website is definitely User Friendly which I consider VERY important. Some vital information is not available such as grades of opaqueness, privacy, and numerous other bits of information that one needs without having to do a great deal of research elsewhere before making a purchase; all in one place is the ideal. I do wish shades were more environmentally friendly such as with greenguard certification as polyester is not considered non-toxic however we have not experienced odors of any kind. Select Blinds does seem to be aware and offers exterior and some interior blinds that are certified and that is great, but it is not enough to pressure brands to be more environmentally conscientious. We all need to become more aware of off-gassing products and sustainably made products. Purchasing shades does not appear an environmentally concerning consumer friendly option currently and that is VERY sad and concerning. That said, the online experience was very user friendly and the blinds arrived in good time despite the holiday season and were extremely well packaged. The blinds we selected are aesthetically very pleasing, easy to install, easy to use, purchased for a great price, and I would recommend this company.

Replacement item also not functioning

I loved that I could replace these under warranty but I've replaced two of them already after 2 years and the most recent replacement blinds also don't do what they should. They move up and down but don't open and close. So I need to open yet another claim, and it's a lot.

Blinds are ok

The blinds look really nice however when I close them they don't stay down. After an hour or so I have the pull them down again which means overnight they go up and let's the morning sun into my son's room. Dissapointing.

We have an issue with the blind. I put in a request for help weeks ago and have reached out numerous times to get an update on resolution. They keep stating they will get back to me in one to two days and it never happens. Now they say I'm in the queue but need to wait my turn. Must be a subpar product if they have that many issues to address. Lesson learned!
