Bought Austin F1 tickets from their site and turns out to be fake. Now they won't take any responsibility or refund. It was ~$300 per ticket. Now out of $1000+ and no body to go and ask?
Their buyer guarantee is false and this simply is a fraud company!

Awesome site and better customer service
September 12, 2017

The experience you brought to my life will never be replaced. Went to Kings Stanley Cup game and so much more. One of the best app and website to use to purchase games. Anyhow, just want to give a big shout out to your customer service especially a person named David. Give the man a raise! You guys are awesome!

Hi Michael! Payouts are issued on the first business day after the event, and then can take up to 5 business days to fully processed by Venmo or your bank. Since your event was on Friday the 15th, those funds were just issued today and you should see them no later than the end of this week!

If you have any trouble receiving those funds, please let our support team know so they can look into it!

Why!?
March 29, 2019

Typed in Twins vs Indians to purchase Opening Day tickets. Instead of those coming up the August 8, came up. Immediately, we realized the mistake, but where advised that the transaction could not be stopped. Now we have to wait until 8/5, for the tickets to be released, and sell them back. Hopefully! A hassle that we do not need!

Bought a ticket to a college football game and I never received my ticket. Still waiting on SeatGeek to reply to my messages and refund me. There's a lot of terrible companies out there but this brings it to a new low. Very disappointed in this company. I would like to know how they get away with stealing peoples money?

Stay away from Seat Geek. They engage in dishonest, shady and non-transparent business practices. I purchased for 4 tickets for an NBA game which we were planning to attend for our upcoming trip to Orlando. However, our plans changed and we can no longer go to the game. I contacted SeatGeek within 24 hours of purchase to cancel our tickets and request a refund and at this point there are still 13 days to the game. In all fairness, their FAQ section states that refunds may not be possible. What I don't understand is that Seat Geek claims to be the seller when you purchase the tickets but when I contacted their customer service I was told that the ticket was sold by a "Fellow fan that used SeatGeek Marketplace"! They claim to be transparent but why hide who the actual seller is? When you are in a marketplace website such as Ebay, Amazon or Etsy, you clearly know who the seller is. However, that is not the case with SeatGeek. Instead, they like to lie about it!

Hi Bulent, thanks for the feedback. We can definitely try to clarify this for you!

SeatGeek does function as a marketplace where hundreds of buyers and sellers can list, sell, and buy tickets. Because of the nature of the secondary market (and the ticket market in general) cancellations and refund cannot be issued once an order is confirmed. Since ticket essentially have an "expiration date", buyers are committed to the purchase once it's submitted. If the tickets can't be used for any reason after that purchase has gone through, it is the buyer's responsibility to resell that ticket if they'd like to recoup the cost of it!

In regards to how the seller is displayed on the site--for security reasons, we cannot display some of our seller's personal information. We at SeatGeek act as representatives of the ticket sellers, but do not own the inventory. We're happy to provide the support and answer any questions we can directly to the buyer or the seller, but we cannot provide the seller's personal, private information on the site. We apologize if that was not made clear prior to purchasing your tickets.

It does look like a few of our representatives have already assisted you with this, but if you ever need further clarification, we'd be more than happy to help. Feel free to contact our support team or visit our FAQ at Seatgeek.com/FAQ.

At Yankee Stadium I purchased 2 e-tickets and then was led around a host of locations because they would not let me enter the stadium with the e-tickets on my phone. They also would not simply print them out for me. I had to go across the street and pay a shop owner $5 per ticket to have my tickets I purchased printed so I could enter the stadium. It seemed like a needless hassle and caused me to miss the first part of the game. Until I opened the e-tickets I received no indication this would be a problem.

Bought tickets to an NFL game. Days later no tickets due to an internal error. No refund. I must now decide to drive 14 hours with the hope of tickets. They did assure me I would get tickets right before the game. Still, who would want to be out in this situation.

I thought it would be convenient to have parking prepaid for concert at American Airlines in downtown Dallas. NOPE! The app was completely useless in directing to my spot, and the attendant informed me that the price I paid was marked up from $6 to $20. So not only did they get my money, they got my information and I got lost in the hood that smelled like poop!

Good! But slightly frustrating
September 18, 2018

Good experience all around. The site was easy to use and the prices seemed in line with other sites I checked. However, I selected tickets, entered all of my information and then when I went to press purchase, I was prompted that the prices rose. I can appreciate a spike in ticket prices, but if you lock in tickets, the price should stay consistent while you're paying for them. It left me wondering if I had actually been charged the new price, or if I purchased the tickets at all... and then was worried I was purchasing a second set of tickets. Very confusing for the customer

This company cares more about their ticket brokers than their customers. If the broker screws up your ticket delivery do not expect seatgeek to help you out. They will hold you responsible for the financial burden instead of making the broker responsible for their mistakes. Does not matter how many times you call or email them in the end you will just lose your $500 dollars or however much you spent.

Hi Santos, we definitely want to make sure this sort of situation is addressed. We never want anyone to lose out on tickets or their money as a result of an order being improperly delivered, and that's definitely something we want to look into.

If this situation is still ongoing, please send us an email with your Order ID to hi@seatgeek.com so we can investigate what happened with your order! We look forward to hearing from you.

Ripped off
November 4, 2022

In the process of making a purchase their website froze, I backed out of the site and purchased from another site I am more familiar with. Bought the only two tickets on the same row that these clowns ended up charging me for. Asked for a credit within minutes of the error and they have refused. Not sure how they can sell me tickets for seats I already purchased. Stay tuned!

Good Experience
August 24, 2018

Easily found good seats at a good price. Even sold extra tickets easily.
An improvement would be a refund option if someone has bought the tickets and no longer needs them within a certain time frame. The original posting should just go back up. It is possible that someone could be stuck with extra tickets and lose money. Otherwise a good experience.

Worst customer experience ever! No direct # to call to talk to anybody! Have to communicate via chat or email and there are a bunch of idiots that work there that are no help at all! I wanted to exchange my tickets for another date due to Hurricane Ian and takes 3 days for them to look at it only not accommodate!

Don't use seatgeek!
January 12, 2024

I bought the wrong day on accident for the band TOOL. They are playing 1/12/23 and 1/13/23 I bought tickets for 1/12/23 by mistake, and seatgeek refused to swap days out. They said theirs nothing they can do. I lost 400$ and never got to see the show. Use stubhub or Ticketmaster.

Do not use SeatGeek
September 8, 2023

I gave them one star because 100 pounds of is not available. I bought US Open tickets in May for September 2023. The tickets were never transferred to my account. I was told it will show up and it never did. I asked for a refund and they refused because "the tickets will eventually show up". They never did. My credit card company refunded my money because they understand that if you take someone's money and don't give them the goods they paid for then that is stealing. I will never use SeatGeek again.

I bought 2 tickets with a face value of $64 ($32 each). The price listed was $128 ($59 each)-fine…but THEN they added another $40 more in service fees! I knew the Section & row but didn't even the seat numbers until they sent the tickets the day before the game. I felt completely taken advantage of!

I purchased tickets through seatgeek in April for a concert at Red Rocks in July. A week before the concert, I still had no tickets in my account, and proceeded to send them numerous emails including screenshots of my account. I was finally told that the seller had 2 hours prior to the concert to produce the tickets. So 2 hours prior to the concert, I repeatedly asked for a refund, which I didn't get. At one hour 45 minutes before concert, the tickets were finally there. Extremely stressful! We'd flown to Colorado for this concert, and missed part of the show because the promised tickets were not there. I'm requesting a full refund. Ineffective customer service.

I heard about your website through the College Football podcast The Solid Verbal. I had looked at the site for some time and when I was looking to purchase tickets to my teams game I decided to try it out.

It was very easy to find the kind of tickets I was looking for. And I cannot praise enough the very open pricing structure with the fees. Being able to look at ticket prices with the fees included is a big point for me.

In this most recent purchase, I could have saved about 16 dollars using another ticket provider but they were not open about the fees so I made the decision to support your website because I favor how the business is being run.

You can bet that if I need tickets for an event SeatGeek will be the one i check first
