The order was late so I went to the site and all it said was it was pending and incomplete. So I called the customer service number off the site and it was completely automated with no option to speak with a real person. It gave me the same info as the website saying it is scheduled to arrive on the date it originally was supposed to arrive. I just needed a water inlet valve for my dishwasher cause the one in the dishwasher was leaking. I checked on some other sites and found that I could of ordered it for a third of the price. The part has still not arrived.
I wish I had read this site prior to ordering with Sears Parts Direct. They said the part was available, charged my card, a fews days later sent an email that the part was on back order for weeks. I found the part elsewhere and called them to cancel the order. They said they would send a cancellation email. Never received. Called three more times asking for a refund. They said it would take 3 to 4 days to process. It never came. Finally had to file a dispute with my credit card. Reputable companies do not charge your card until the product is shipped - that should have been a sign of things to come.
On they website, said they had part in stock. Was told the part would be deliver on 7-26 and of course, part did not show up. Got in touch with company and was told the part would show up on 7-28. I live in California, the tracking number they gave me--Part showed up in MI-(Michigan) Not a happy customer. Don't know what to believe
An empty box arrived and when I called the helpline, they said they would enter a refund and then forwarded me to another "department" to enter the credit card information again. Why wouldn't they ship the parts based on the original payment? It sounds like an attempt to steal credit card information. If I look at the shipping status online, it shows all 3 parts (a tiny washer, a cotter key and a sway bar) were all shipped separately yet only one (empty) box ever arrived They're crooks
After placing an order for lawn tractor parts that the site said was in stock, 3 days later an email came and said the parts were on back order. I took a chance and looked on Amazon for the parts and they had them. Ordered the and received all in 4 days. My order with Sears parts Direct as of today are still on back order. Order was placed 5/11/22. Need a part look at Amazon first.
I wish I would have read these reviews before doing business with this horribly unprofessional business. I ordered a refrigerator part on Jun 21,23 -- when it did not show up after 4 different promises, I finally called again last week -- Nov 16, and was told they had cancelled my order, and I would have to buy the part again. Now they're telling me the part will not be here until some time in December. We'll see. Meanwhile, if I ever need another part for my Frigidaire, Sears Parts Direct will be the last place in the world I will consider buying from.
I ordered part for Kenmore Range, the electrical part arrived with a melted terminal on the circuit board. I reported this to customer service they issued a Return Authorization #, however I have to pay to return the melted circuit board to receive a 'refund'. Warning, they sell defective parts in hopes you won't pay to return the item to them.
I ordered a Craftsman power battery pack for my drill on 7/23, my order still says it is pending, when I call (3 times) I get the run around about it was delayed from the warehouse. If you don't have it, don't advertise it.
1 because I can't give -0-! I ordered a part on Thursday. I called first thing Friday to cancel the order after I saw it was "back ordered" and was told "it would take 24-48 hours to cancel and refund my credit card". I called after 48 hours because they didn't cancel the order. I was told again "24-48 hours be patient with us please". I called again same response. After 7 days I called and told them the story again and again was told 24-48 hours. I demanded an email confirming I had called to cancel the order. They then acted like they couldn't hear me on my end of the call after I told them I wanted them to hang up so I could answer their survey questions. I finally told the person who couldn't hear me that I was being forced to dispute the charges with my bank because they are all $#*!s! Surprise they answered that comment! And I stand by every word in this complaint. Do yourself a favor... go elsewhere! I have disputed the charges.
Don't buy parts from this website nor from them over the phone they take your money but their vendors don't send you the parts. Their website says the parts are in stock but after you pay for them you find out that they don't have the parts
This is the second one I purchased as the previous one's contact mechanism was loose and actually came out of the body of the timer when I unplugged it. The second one had a similar issue but I could see that the flanges meant to secure it was not lined up with the body and the timer itself wouldn't progress. I think these both were rebuilt parts, poorly might I add. The bad part is this could cause a fire in peoples machines. Free floating contacts are dangerous. I put up a very similar review on their own site and they disproved it saying that this was "Contains inappropriate content." Salty much? To top off of this off they had an option to expedite refund. They had me take pictures and I even made a video and emailed it to a specific email address that goes no where. When I called they said they would only produce a refund when the part was received back.

I ordered a part based on the fact they said it was in stock. On 10/28. My account says it was not ordered until 10/ 30. So now it's out if stock. I called customer service and received no help. I tried to stay on the line to complete the survey. After about 20 seconds the guy said would you like me to hang up. I said yes, I wanted to complete the survey. So what does he do. He transfers me to another rep. When I explained what happened she said if you do the survey now it will reflect on me, not the previous rep. They are shady. Will not purchase from them again.
Ordered a replacement for a Criterion Freezer. Given the model, they told me the part number needed. The part was $20, and shipping was $10. Part did not work but they want $10 to ship it back and they will refund me approximately $20. Spend another $10 and they will refund me $20 while I am out $20 for a part that did not work? SCAM.
I ordered parts for my gas grill 08/02/2021. Site says parts in stock but 15 days later still shows as "pending". Called 3 times for updates and not one person at the call center knows what pending means or when the part will be delivered.
This is how a company goes out of business... with a level of customer care that is this poor.

Ordered part Feb 8,2023. On April10 I cancelled the order because they could not tell me when the parts would be delivered. I contacted them weekly, and was assured my refund would be 3-5 days. I received an email that I would have a refund in 3-5 days. On June 10,2023 they cancelled the order. Still no refund. They have essentially stolen my money. Buyer beware.
I ordered two parts from Sears parts direct and got one in good time, but the other part that was shown as in stock had not shipped for three weeks so I cancelled it and the refund I got was not even enough to cover the part, and nothing for shipping! I will never use them again!
Paid $44 for expedited shipping, little did I know that literally doesn't mean anything to Sears PartsDirect... Ordered a very common water valve for my refrigerator and an ice maker assembly. About a week later I was told both items were backordered and didn't have an ETA for shipping. I waited a few weeks and after 5 weeks I finally called to sit on hold for 40 minutes to get a refund to which they won't refund the expedited shipping costs...
I ordered the part and said it is in stock, but it was never delivered, So I requested to cancel the order they told me the order is in the process so once it is shipped, they will cancel it. So, they took my money and not provided my part, and not returning my money. Highly unethical business site.
DO NOT ORDER from this company. Not only did they wrote the order for the wrong parts, they back ordered them and still charged me. Took 3 hours and 6 disconnects with their foreign agents before I got someone from us. They say that they will credit me when I send back the back ordered parts. You are better off ordering aftermarket parts.
I had same experience as others, ordered a part which was in stock, never shipped and had a difficult time cancelling and still no refund after 2 weeks. I submitted a dispute with credit card which is still ongoing. I also submitted complaints to BBB and FTC.
However, I noticed that people who used Paypal to pay for their item, got their refund in 48 hours. This is because Paypal doesn't pay merchant till item is shipped. My item also showed Paypal option for payment, however transaction didn't go through because it said can't ship to my address (probably because it was not in stock). But when I used my credit card the order was accepted. Try using Paypal to protect yourself. Credit cards take few months to process disputes.
