Food (dinner) never delivered after 1.5 hours. Missed my train home. On calling seamless/grubhub, was told driver had a 'language barrier'. Not sure what that means. I'm assuming its a grubhub driver, so they are responsible. NEVER ordering from them ever again. Walk away with your dollars. This $7 bn market cap company doesn't need your money given this level of service.
Corporate website is the single most awful piece of garbage. It is plagued with random bugs that prevent your order from going through.Not only this, but if your order is cancelled for whatever reason, seamless will hold you money hostage so you cannot order again until you manage to call through to them only after being transferred by their support 3-4 times.
Repeatedly takes the order online charges your card. Then just before delivery window you get a notification the order will be delayed. Then you get a call later assuming it's the delivery person saying your food has arrived. But instead it's the customer service at Seamless saying that they've cancelled your order because the restaurant was closed before they processed your order an hour and half ago. Now you'll get a refund in 5-10 business days. They did this to me two days in a row. I used Seamless 2-3 times a week minimum for years now I'm never using them again. I doubt I'll even see my $95.00 in refunds to be honest. They are the worse. Not to mention they up charge so much. Makes a $20.00 delivery cost $45.00 every time for nothing. Call the restaurant directly for delivery and stop paying these middle men crooks.
So, so awful. This business is in need of some serious help. I have stopped using them altogether because I kept having drivers steal my food- they would just mark it as "delivered" without so much as driving by or calling me. When I tried to reach out to them, radio silence. Seamless always credits me for the food, but it doesn't address the fact that a bunch of time was wasted and then I am left without food. There is no accountability for the drivers, as this has happened several times. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
Mexican Culture is a really great restaurant, especially for orders in. Its chicken mole was the best I've eaten in years, and other things like tamales the same. It is very reasonably priced and orders are delivered incredibly quickly. I recommend it without hesitation.
2/3 orders cancelled. Hours of delays. No notification when some orders are cancelled. Some restaurants listed don't exist or don't take orders despite seamless accepting and "confirming" the order. Rude customer service.
When I first started using seamless everything was great and I was excited about how fast I could get food just delivered to the house from almost anywhere. Here lately my orders are wrong or missing items or they didn't read the special instructions about ketchup or ranch or chopsticks or napkins etc. And I mean I don't order like once a month I order several times a month sometimes a you times a week. I was just let it go but today... Today I really wanted a certain thing with my order and not only didn't get it but also missing item that I paid for. So I guess I will either go get it myself from now on or give their competitors a shot.
With this being said I blame the restaurants too! I still think that a delivery driver should check to make sure that everything is there before delivering it but the restaurants should have put everything in there in the first place
This platform it's only take money from your packet number one!
Number two! If there is a mistake from the restaurant they didn't even refund me but give me a 20% off On the next order so in the end I spend $38 dollar for one cold pizza!

Ordered a meal. Put "No Sauce" on the details due to allergy issues. Site did not let food vendor know. Food arrived with said sauce. Called food place who stated they were not informed of the food restriction. Messaged Seamless directly and was basically told I was SOL and now I'm buying a second meal since I can't eat the first...
I was a member of seamless plus for the last month, but I had to call every day for them to give me a refund of the delivery, because the discount never worked when I finalized the order. After a month without working, I just can't renew the plan anymore and no one helps me to solve it. I have to order food every day there because of my work agreement, and simply no one can solve the problem! I'm trying to be a seamless plus member again, but it seems that they blocked my app so I could register again. I have all case numbers and all emails and proofs.
I ordered taco bell around 6 pm tonight and it said delivery would take 25-35 mins, not to bad. I see the driver pick up the food at 6:27 and start driving to my place and he delays the food till 6:35 to 6:45. Again not a problem I understand he picked it up a little late I message him ad as if there is traffic. 6:45 rolls around and he has been sitting in between me and the taco bell at 26th street for 20 minutes with no response to my texts and then proceeds to drive the opposite way of me. At 7:10 I call customer service and they say give it 15 minutes. I call customer service back at 7:25. They cancel my order and give me a full refund. By that time I had waited for my food for an hour. I'm frustrated and angry, they did the bare minimum to help me with my order and I am never using Seamless again. On top of it, the 3 other times I ordered from Taco Bell my order was wrong or things were missing. Absolutely disgusted with their service.
Whenever my order is wrong i contact seamless and they refund me. Not sure why everyone else is having issues. But do not call the restaurant because they are going to pull a bunch of crap, and make things complicated. Seamless has been very similar to amazon and does a lot to help the customer. Very good experience!
I never received my order. I contacted seamless via chat and wasted 15+m chatting with a rep that was rude and completely useless! Basically told me that my order was delivered and to check surrounding area! I live in a 40 storey building in NYC... did she want me wander streets? She disconnected chat while I was trying to explain my living environment... not my first time getting awful service from seemless! I'm done with them!
I wanted to place an order for delivery in East Bakersfield, which is hugely discriminated against. The order was already $10 more than if I went there, thet added $27 in bogus fees BEFORE ANY DRIVER TIP. Delivery fee $8. And additional $8 delivery fee just for having the audacity to order through them. Driver's fees, CA fees, and I'm sure a f-you fee, to make the order total over $57. Then they expected me to give a huge tip. Huge rip-off and bait and awitch. I will be filing a complaint with the California Department of Corporations for deceptive and egregious fees.
I used this company today and never again. I ordered at 5:42 with a delivery time of 6:20 - 6:30. It took over an hour and I didn't get my hot sour soup. The restaurant indicated that Seamless was responsible for both. They talked to the driver and said she would come back with my soup, a large one this time. She might, but it is 7:28 and she has not come back. On top of that, this company has you include the tip when you order so I gave this driver over $5 (20%) for a tip even though she doesn't deserve anything. Horrible experience. This is a free service so I guess I got what I paid for. Lesson learned
Delivery was re-estimated adding 45 minutes to the arrival time given to me when placing the order. Food arrived cold - eggs, sausage, waffle and even the coffee. Items on side such as cream, sugar were missing. Delayed, cold and missing on the very first order with Seamless. 3 strikes and they're out. Will not use Seamless again.
Charged for the order. Tracked the order. Delivery time changed by two hours. Then said it was delivered but was still sitting here without the food and hungry as hell. It was never delivered. Had to contact customer service. Their response was "maybe the driver got lost or something. We will refund your account 5-10 business days" seriously. Never ever use these people. Better off using Uber Eats. Seamless is hot trash! Smh
Worked 12 hours - site says30-40 minutes delivery- okay every 20 minutes into the order it gets f=delayed 1/2 hour. Another 20 minutes get s delayed again. Call Customer Service on hold for 22 minutes. Still UGH! Just be truthful. We would understand and - or do something else...
I ordered dinner using Seamless at 4:30 in the afternoon and requested a 7 pm delivery. At 7:00 I got a notice that it would be delivered at 7:30. At 7:30 the delivery time was updated to 8:15. I called the restaurant and my dinner was there and waiting but a driver never showed up. I called Seamless and they eventually agreed to cancel my order. I will never use them again!
My friend from out of town ordered me a pizza for my birthday. Driver supposedly called, and emailed (no missed calls or emails)... when I called the customer service desk, they said "oh sorry driver waited 20 minutes and didn't hear anything he left". I asked for driver to come back. Customer service rep said unfortunately he cannot do that, we can give you 50% discount on next order. I said that isn't going to cut it, you need to refund my friend in the full amount... After much debate my friend finally got reimbursed, but the customer service agent could not tell me where the missing pizza went. Did we just buy a pizza for a rando delivery driver? Who knows! And so goes on the mystery of the missing pizza. Either way don't use this service they are terrible, and we will NEVER use them again.
Answer: Absolute scam. Do NOT waste your money! They have a "tracking" system to show when your food gets "delivered" but when it shows "delivered" there's no delivery in site. Had to call them after two hours to find out they couldn't contact my delivery driver and then seamless decided my order never even made it to the restaurant. Still waiting on a refund. What a joke of a company.
