Great Price, Will Buy Again
September 24, 2018

Always a great price. The silver looked great. However, the coin storage containers were not in good shape; marked up, one was crushed to the point the bars were difficult to get in it, and there was this old tape wrapped all around it for no reason. I'll just be buying PMs in the future, which I'm always satisfied with at sdbullion.

I had made a first time purchase of $12,000 on their website and because I was traveling I couldn't work with their system. It ended up I paid their market loss fee I am a reasonable person and felt that was justified, but dealing with Jeremiah and SD Bullion was a nightmare, rude is understatement, his condescending attitude shows the quality of this company. I would not do business with such a poorly trained staff.

It looks like the purchase you made with us was for an order placed on September the 16th. The order was originally submitted as a bank wire, however we never received any payment for your order.

Our staff reached out to you multiple times to provide alternate payment methods available, they even gave an extension for you to still pay for your order. We attempted to work with you, and after waiting for over a month, and exhausting every option available, we had still not received any payment for your order.

Your order was eventually cancelled due to non-payment, and according to our records, a supervisor offered you a one time courtesy discount on the cancellation fees you owed. All bullion dealers have the same type of cancelation policies and fees in place as we all have to hedge every order that is placed. Meaning when an order is locked in we must purchase a hedge of the same oz at that market price. When an order is canceled the bullion dealer takes a loss on those hedged ounces.

SD Bullion handles thousands of transactions on a daily and weekly basis, we are one of the top online bullion dealers in the country and have done over two billion dollars worth of transactions. Good Experience

The process takes time but is not unreasonable. I was a first time user so I was a little cautious and called SD Bullion before I ordered. They were reassuring and helpful on the phone so I submitted my payment. As soon as they received payment, they placed the order and sent a delivery tracking number. The package took time to deliver but everything came through fine. They are legit.

Great prices

Prices are the best I have found. Fed Ex delivery was very poor. Not worth paying for expedited delivery since Fed Ex driver didn't give enough time to answer the door on first day and never stopped on second attempt of delivery. I had to go to their terminal to retrieve my package on the third day.

I have been very pleased overall with the level of service and the promptness of delivery I have received over numerous orders, with 1 exception, in which a large order of SD Freedom Eagles was not delivered. I am advised that this is currently being addressed.

SD Bullion has the best prices but they need to work on response time on Customer Support. Made my order on a Thursday and on the same day made the wire transfer. It took them two days to confirm that they got the funds even though I've made a same day transfer, which left me feeling uneasy so I reached out to them via chat message which took them two days to reply me back. By that time I had already called them to ask about the status of my order. Got my order the following Thursday, over a week after I've made my order, so not bad.

Great Company

I have been dealing with SD Bullion for about 9 Mos. Only small quantities of gold coins and 1oz bars but have found they always have the lowest prices compared to the other bullion dealers, they don't bother you with phone calls like the others and they have great customer service when needed which is the sign of a great company in my opinion. I asked that my shipment be delayed until September 28 and I was assured that a note would be so placed in my order number. Also when I sent my check in I had a note attached to it requesting the same thing. SD Bullion disregarded both. Zero stars if I could give it.

Deliver my orders or returns my funds

After referred by a youtuber Jayson Jaws and a roommate of mine, I placed several orders with SD bullion. I received the first few orders just fine.
However for order ******* and ******* they received the payments then hold my funds in hostage.

Every order with SD Bullion goes through a review process as PM can often be targeted for fraud. We work with the customer to verify their identity for their protection and if that cannot be fully satisfied the order may be cancelled. The orders mentioned were fully refunded for this customer.

The only reason I give 4 out of 5 is that I ordered 3 different years, and 3 different grades of silver eagles, but apparently one year was not in stock and they didnt notify me. It was only after I called over a week later did they tell me. But the person on the phone was extremely apologetic and offered to remove the shipping charge. They also sent me a coupon for a discount on my next order, but unfortunately the discount amount was $0.00.

Very poor delivery.not as stated on website

Ordered 2/3/23.S.D. Received payment 2/6/23. Notifiyed it was being sent 2/15/23! A communication from company would have been comforting. I called company...amazingly I got it within a few days?WHY? Who dropped the ball? I received my purchase on 2/17/23.

This all I started due to my love of Morgan silver dollars. But that's not all it grew became a silver investment for me and now 4:30 other people and became an investment and gold from mines to sell. I build collections and sell them. I invest in silver & coins for a dozen people and help others invest in their future. In the future I will be making statuettes and figurines out of precious metals. All of this is due to SD Bullion and my insatiable attitude when it comes to staying busy. I am retired after a stroke. Silver & SD Bullion helped reinvent myself into real success story!

Good Prices and delivery to match

I had the displeasure of doing a transaction with this company and I would not repeat nor recommend this company. My transaction went sideways which in and of itself is not the reason for my displeasure. Rather, it was the rude and unprofessional manner in which I was treated. Their internal communication is chaotic and there is no centralized management that I can determine. I asked to speak to a manager but was told that the manager does not communicate with customers. How then, is a person to address their concerns and problems? No one wants to take ownership of issues and you are basically on your own if a problem arises.

As a long time customer, I received my last order. I was glad I was here when FEDEX drop off the package. I ask the driver about a signature, he said No Signature order. This is wrong. With packages being stolen from pouches in the area, I did not like the delivery with no signature. Metals and or products of this kind always need to be delivered face to face. Products/packages like this are easy to steal. No happy ... If future orders are shipped with no signature..... I guess I need to look for different firm to purchase from

Same Great Service Each Time

This was my third order from SD Bullion and each has been a great experience. While this particular order took significantly longer than the last two, SD Bullion did an admirable job explaining the reasoning for the delay prior to my placement of the order. They set the expectation and then met that expectation accordingly.

I appreciate the proactive communication and the solid service I have experienced from SD Bullion so far.

This company sucks

It took SD Bullion one month to send me my purchase. I called up several times and received a different excuse everytime I called. I had to reach out to my bank about how they took my money and never sent me my purchase. Don't buy from this company they are thieves. Buy your precious metals from.APMEX. I hate SD Bullion because they are crooks.

Order filled and shipped as described

First of all, I appreciate the easy to navigate website. I knew what the spot price was and the premium before I ordered. Dealing with some companies in the past that information was not clear. The price locked in at the time of order and did not change. To keep the price as low as possible we decided to send a paper check and to receive via USPS. This took a little longer, but we were not in a hurry. The whole process worked beautifully! Thank you for the great service!

Got free shipping

I ordered from SD Bullion because I hear them mentioned when I listen to SGT Report. They had a spot price special that I took advantage of but failed to enter the discount code. Unfortunately they couldn't apply the discount after the order went through but they did offer me free shipping on my next order. They also allowed me to change from a wire transfer to check payment after the transaction. All and all a good experience.
