Literal piece of crap
February 16, 2023

I can't do this. I loved scratch so much, especially GWDFI [ a studio] but then i get banned for venting? Like, my comment wasn't that bad. I hate scratch so much. Never going back again. It's a waste of time, go use some nice website like code.org. If i could rate it 0 stars I would. Piece of crap. I hate the community so much.
I can't do this. Never using scratch again. Ruined my life.

Can't do this. Ugh.

Pretty good!
April 27, 2022

Scratch is a pretty good website! I'm more an artist than a person that makes games, but I make animations and Scratch has helped me learn how to code in a few ways! I didn't really use the tutorials, I kind of figured it out myself, but I'm sure they're nice! The reason I gave it a 4 is because their filterbot is pretty much broken. Even if I say a simple word, like once I said egg, the filterbot muted me and I couldn't comment for 10 minutes. The other things are that the scratch team doesn't do anything about art theft, copyright, and those other things that might be illegal. They also ban users for no reason, such as posting a harmless project or saying a harmless word. The scratch team is fine, but I think they should know if a project is fine and a 3 year old with a karen mom reports it just to be "funny."

Low intelligence span
November 25, 2022

5 year olds report my account for a profile picture. My profile picture a bag of chips and they report me for just having their least favorite flavor of chips. Children should be kept away from this website and kill off their social life until they have a good amount of logic, intelligence and common sense within their minds.

This website is the worst. I've been on this website for more than 2 years, and never have I never seen such horrible admins in this website. There's people bullying others on the website, not "agreeing" with the rules and it's just toxic. I got banned a few days ago for defending myself from a Bully on the website, and instead of them banning the other person they decided to ban me for defending myself. Not only that, but there's death threats being thrown around the website from other users and nobody is doing anything to stop it. My friends wanted to use scratch, but I told them not to for this reason. This is one of the worst websites I've ever been on and it's the Last.

The website itself is very fun. I enjoy making projects in Scratch. I like when people see my projects and follow me. I use Scratch to share stuff with people (mostly projects and comments). However, I don't like the moderation. I was once blocked for 12 hours just for posting the same comment three times, each time on a different account. The Scratch Team will block a project even if it has a very unnoticeable innappropiate thing. I am lucky that I have never been banned, but I have heard stories of scratchers being banned for stupid reasons.
If you create an account to go around a ban, Scratch will track your IP address so that you can't create another Scratch account from your network. I once created a secret account called gy4tt just for fun. However, when I discovered that the Scratch Team can track your IP address, I immediately deleted the gy4tt account, which I created a few days before, because it had a slightly inappropriate name and I feared that the Scratch Team would ban my main account.
Overall, I kinda recommend Scratch, but be very careful.

Never break the community guidelines or even go around them, the Scratch Team have already found out that there are many way to break their guidelines and terrorize innocent kids from learning how to do coding, the website is made for kids and will always be made for kids, be careful on their website as you could get banned or even blocked like me, so don't do it. Scratch is very unfair and not comfortable to use now that the moderation has been completely broken, thanks Scratch Team for blocking me.

I am PaperMarioFan2022 from Scratch leaving a review for you all, I love Paper Mario and a fan of Nintendo, I wanted to use Scratch for coding, and improving my social skills, and I wanted to make new friends too.

Scratch is a great way to start your coding career if you want to start fresh from the beginning, and for fun, but just be careful when you comment, and make sure that projects aren't breaking the guidelines and you'll be fine!:)

An appeal that I've sent through my alt after contacting ceebee, a member of the Scratch Team about lifting my block.

It failed because I accidentally told them in the appeal form that I was "hacked".
I literally was muted for talking about the contact us forum page.
Blocked for saying, "fellow nazi" which I DIDN'T MEAN TO POST! SO DUMB!

They banned me for putting an emoji when it is appropiate and it's a number, how dare they have this moderation, AND they even IP banned me so I cannot login to scratch.

Here is a picture of me getting IP banned...
