Scent Matchers

Hello ScentMatchers - I recently ordered an old favorite fragrance and am absolutely thrilled with it. It's beautiful first applied, and even nicer as it wears. It's better than I remember and I love that your products are far less toxic than the perfumes I once wore. Thank you!

I wanted them to make a scent Bath and Body works used to sell years ago called Rare Mimosa by Henri Bendel. The first order reeked of Rose scent! I went on Ebay and spent $30 on the tiniest bottle (a little larger than a free sample) and sent them an actual sample of the parfum. What a joke! It was not much different than the first batch. Their website says they will try up to 2 more times at no additional cost, but absolutely no refunds! Well, I wasted my hard earned money on their mediocre attempt at matching the product. I even asked my teenager what he thought of the fragrance and he said, "you should give it to grandma because it smells like old lady"! Don't waste your time, money, or energy!

Initially, had an issue with delivery. On the day it was to arrive via 2-day FedEx, I received a message from Scentmatchers confirming delivery. I had to inform them that I had not received it. They agreed it was a FedEx issue. Instead of sending the replacement order 2-day delivery (which would have been reasonable customer service), they chose UPS which took an entire week. I ordered Jan 11, it finally arrived today - Feb 7. After waiting almost a month, I am beyond disappointed to find that what I have received is definitely NOT a match to the Victoria's Secret Rapture that I had requested. Total fail all the way around. Would not recommend.

I've been searching for Guerlain My Insolence for years now, as it is my favorite perfume but also discontinued. I have one bottle with maybe 15-20 uses that I was using for special occasions only and dreading the markup on resale sites (believe me, I've looked). I saw the ad for ScentMatchers on Facebook, clicked on it, and, with fingers crossed, looked to see if my perfume was there. It was! Also, at an amazing price! I placed my order and waited for its arrival. Less than 10 days later, my perfume arrived. I opened the box and was blown away. This is an exact replica! I am so amazed at this, even now as I type up this review. I am now using up the remainder of my original bottle. ScentMatchers has my business for life! Thank you so much!

Swayed by super-positive reviews on Facebook, I ordered a copy of what used to be my favorite (and only perfume) for over 10 years before the company discontinued it (Eaux Fantasque by Fragonard). What I received was nothing, absolutely nothing like the original scent. There is no refund policy. They offer to try again, but I don't trust them since the original was so far off (and even unpleasant, though, obviously, taste in smells is highly personal), but what they sent is just... really bad. Anyway, I was naive, should have checked online for more reviews before ordering. Just have to swallow the lost money, and I'll know better next time.

I ordered a reproduction of the original 1933 Jungle Gardenia by Tuvache (Natalie Wood's favorite parfum) no longer available. When my wife opened the bottle and tried it out, she was ecstatic, said she just loved it and it was such a spectacular birthday present, that I would get lucky that night! Just for fun, I sprayed it on my arm and was able to smell it's wonderful fragrance all day long at work. Very concentrated. When we discovered a small leak in the spray bottle, Scentmatchers offered to replace it immediately free of charge. What more can I say... a 5 star rating... highly recommended. Dr. Steve

I purchased a scent from Scentmatchers. It did not smell right. I sent it back within the time frame of the return policy. The customer service agent Jennifer Monroe wrote back and refunded but basically emailed back with a sarcastic, snarky, unprofessional response. While she has a tough job dealing with an undoubtedly endless flow of unsatisfied customers and a crappy product, It is obvious from other reviews that Ms Monroe would probably be better off and happier in a different job. Please do not purchase from this company. You will likely find yourself sending the scent back and having to correspond with her. I wish I had looked up reviews prior to handing money over. It is a testament to how strongly I feel about the poor customer service that I joined this website to write about it.
