This company is a scam. They say they are going to give you a service with support but all you get is links that don't connect and a bot that says sorry it can't assist you. They say it's a 7 day refund but won't refund your purchase. They are unhelpful, scamming people our if money and pretending to provide a service. I am very happy that I found Bisecthosting where it was super simple to get started and have amazing support who know what they're doing! Don't waste your energy with Scalacube it's a SCAM
I set up a server with Scalacube, provisioned it with more than enough respurced to handle my requirements. The server was laggy and essentially unusable, so I moved onto a different hosting solution on the same day. They refuse to give a refund, even though their product did not perform as advertised and I requested a refund the same day. They said me selecting a different hosting option because of their poor performance "was not a valid reason for a refund". Seriously, I do not recommend, there are plent of other great hosting sites out there, use one of those.
Rented a server for online gaming and found it never functioned. The customer service only helped in delaying my case until they claimed a refund was no longer an option despite faulty service. This company is no more than a scam. It would be wise to find a more reputable company to suit your needs.
I made a mistake and had to cancel. Even though it was completely my own fault, support gave me a refund without any hassle. Great customer service!
"False advertising and poor customer service"
Definitely the title of a review, if it needed a title. I'm not usually one to leave reviews online, but the way ScalaCube treated me as a customer was unacceptable. First, the "false advertising": the ONLY reason I purchased a server through ScalaCube was because they promoted cross platform playability, it was only after I had purchased a subscription to the server was I told that it is not actually cross platform (which is literally an option in the server settings!).
Second, the "poor customer service": about the only thing positive about the company is their quick responses to any help tickets. I had sent two help tickets, and neither of them helped my situation nor did they inquire any further information to help me with my problems.
Finally, I believe I had seen somewhere on the website that refunds could be issued within a certain time frame (maybe I am wrong), but it doesn't matter…because after continuously trying to get assistance from their customer service, and having the server for only 3 days even though it hasn't been used, they refuse to issue me a refund.
Thanks for reading to the end, and I hope this review helps you save your time, money, and the frustration of having to deal with this company.
