We needed cell service for one week for a hunting trip. I explained this to the sales person but somehow we ended up with a 12 month commitment.
With the early termination fee I paid over $400 for a service that didn't even work.

Couldn't have been More helpful in answering questions about my needs and more easy to deal with. Product arrived sooner than I expected, however a shipping notification would have been the cherry on top so I could assure I was onsite for UPS delivery. It happened that I was so all was good, but wasn't aware of its arrival until UPS drove up. I am out in mountainous region so to have my new 9575 as a no fail way to keep in touch was just what my kids wanted out of me!

Very easy to order on the website. I was contacted by customer service just to make sure I had ordered everything I needed. They were very helpful in pointing out a number of options that I hadn't thought of that really enhanced the first time buying experience. Everything worked perfectly and arrived very quickly. It couldn't have been easier.
Shopping was super easy - I got a quote from Tyler via the live chat box in seconds. Quote had a quick link to make my purchase fast and easy. I got an email with the order agreement in an hour. Shipping was quick and instructions are easy to follow.
Spent $660 for a Sat-Fi2 and service agreement. My Android phone would not connect, so I sent both the Sat-Fi2 and my phone to tech support. They couldn't get it to work either and recommended I either upgrade my phone (especially to an iPhone) or upgrade my satellite device. I chose instead to return (ask them to keep) the device. They still charged a restocking fee so that I only received $505 back. Choose a different re-seller.
I had all my questions answered by Tyler Johnson. The only suggestion I could make is I wish someone had let me know my credit card was declined. When I called Satellite Phone to get my tracking number I was told my card was declined. When I called AmEx an old card that had been compromised was pulled up by mistake. My new card should have been used and AmEx approved the charge.
Rented Iridium go for long sail home on open water, did a 3 week rental and was charged up front for rental. Unit arrived in small pelican box but would not transmit any outbound calls or messages. Contacted support and was told it was a sim card problem that could be fixed with their provider and would be fixed in a day. Fast forward 8 days later and still not working, spent hour on phone with new support person when we found out it was still set for previous renter. As we sailed out for trip unit was reset and new accounts created and worked. Two weeks later we reached destination and repacked unit as we had received it in pelican box and put in fedex to return.
After checking on bill (I had a credit for a service they had charged for but was not provided of needed), I was told the unit had been submerged in water and damaged! I knew this was not true even more so the unit is a ruggedize unit that should not have a problem even it dropped in water. I asked how did they know that and was told because there were descant pouches in box so I must have been trying to dry it out. I pointed out they were in box when it came I just left them there. After 10 min call I was put on hold and call dropped. When I got my credit card bill they had charged and additional $779 dollars with not explanation.
Further call got no return calls. Protested thru credit card we will see what happens. Only thing I can say is find another vendor.
Ordering was easy. The only glitch was that the Bivy App was not installed. Tech support helped me down load the app and now I have a dedicated device for the Bivy Stick.

I was impressed with the compact useful packaging, I may have over bought service for a backup device, time will tell, though. I've not delved into use, yet.
Just like everyone else, they say what needs to be said to sell, then when it comes time to honor the agreement, they don't. Get everything in writing.
ORDERED PHONE, COULD NOT GET TO WORK. THEN THEY TELL ME WON'T WORK IN MY AREA. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THAT WHEN I ORDERED IT? HAD TO BUY MORE EXPENSIVE ONE. SO WHILE i AM ORDERING NEW ONE TO WORK IN MY AREA, I GET CHARGED FOR THE OLD ONE AND THE NEW ONE MONTHLY FEES! POOR SERVICE, UNETHICAL PEOPLE. I HAD ALSO ORDERED A DOCKING STATION. WOULD NOT WORK IN MY AREA, NEW IN BOX, RETURNED AND THEY SAID IT WAS ALL SCRATCHED UP, DEDUCTED OVER $100 FROM REFUND. THE ITEM HAD NEVER BEEN OUT OF THE BOX, SO IF IT WAS SCRATCHED UP THEY DID IT. DO NOT LISTEN THE GUYS PROMOTING THIS, THESE PEOPLE ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS!
I got the $109/mo plan (usa number, 150 minutes, rollover) and never used the phone as planned. At the end of 10 months, I elected to return the phone because I had never used it. The rep, Tyler, and billings, said return "the phone" and I would be able to cancel the contract without a newly revealed early termination penalty. Strike one. So I returned the phone, as well as the accessories with the phone (charger, cable, usb drive, etc in the original box) not thinking I was obligated to return them as neither Tyler nor the billing dept ever said anything. The billing department used terminology like "the unit," which was undefined. Strike two. After returning the phone and those accessories, I was told by Tyler I would continue to be charged unless I returned the SIM card. First I ever heard that I have to return the SIM card. Tyler was also very rude and unprofessional. Strike three. I returned the SIM card after digging in the trash and looking everywhere for it. This is by far the worst experience I have had with any vendor. I paid over $850 in monthly fees for the "free phone," and was spat at when miscommunicated to. I will avoid this vendor, this sales rep, and satellite phones in general in the future. What an incredible waste of money. Here's the SIM card, you jerks!
Received phone fast. Customer service was great. The instructions to use the phone was very simple and the phone arrived activated.
