Awful
May 6, 2017

I was having trouble with my samsung gears2. I called ATT, I was then sent to samsung. Samsung sent me to best buy. Best Buy informed me that they could do anything to fix my gear. I was then routed back to Samsung. I was put on the phone with someone I could barely understand. Their attitude was as if they did not care that I had purchased this item and just wanted them to replace it. I informed them that I would be writing a review and would write until the end of time about the service I received. The person on the other end of the phone stated, "ok', I have the gear and have been with Samsung for the past 4 years. This will be the last item that I will purchase from them. They are quick to sell you something, but don't want to have anything to do with you when you are having a problem. Samsung sucks.!.

We have not even hooked up our SUHD Samsung 55" TV yet, but spending all day today trying to get any customer service makes me think the best thing to do is put it back in the box and take it back to Costco while we still can. 90 minutes on hold till I hung up the phone. Website is complete trash. No help anywhere, not even from Costco. Might be a good TV but we will never know... suggest you never buy anything from Samsung unless you screwing up your whole day trying to get answers

Just Lousy Appliances
April 26, 2017

A little over four years ago I bought a Samsung refrigerator, stove and dishwasher from H. H. Gregg. The dishwasher didn't last three years, and the cheap plastic knobs on the front of the stove all broke requiring me to spend $174.30 to replace them. Lastly the ice maker in the frig broke about six months ago. After four service visits and almost $700.00, the service company tells me they can't fix it. I'm waiting on Samsung to make what they call an "accommodation" whatever that ends up being. In summary, I don't recommend buying Samsung products.

I have had many Samsung phones and just pre ordered and received the new Samsung Galaxy S 8 and was suppose to receive the Samsung Gear VR setup free.
Well they have decided to deny my claim twice because they can't read the receipt I downloaded that the picture was taken with their own state of the art camera. They have plenty of records showing that I bought their $800 phone. All I want is the promotion that was promised or this will be my last Samsung purchase of any type.

The submit button wasn't working for the Samsung Galaxy s8 Virtual Reality package ($99 for the ear phones and sd card). After it was fixed, they are doing nothing for those who lost out while it was still in stock. They are talking about it internally but have not taken names or email addresses to notify people when this will be made right. I had a problem with Dyson last Nov. They were absolutely great and made it right. Would buy from them anytime. For all of the problems Samsung has had lately, this should also be made right.

I brought a Samsung tablet for my grandson for Christmas from argos, the screen went completely black one day whilst he was using it, my grandson suffers from autism and was distraught when it broke, i called the Samsung support team as it was barely 5 months old and i had the receipt and box. I was very annoyed when i spoke to a member of the support team a female named Jay and she was completely unhelpful, i asked to speak to a manager and she told me there wasn't one! She kept repeating herself like an idiot saying the same thing over and over 'your device needs sending away!' I explained my statutory rights and that it was a child involved that didn't understand! Anyway to cut a long story short i took the tablet back to argos and they exchanged it no problem, no question and gave me the rights as a customer i deserve, i would NEVER recommended Samsung after care nor there team.

I was a loyal Samsung owner; stove, microwave, washing machine and refrigerator UNTIL the poor performance of the refrigerator (the ice maker never worked well, and broke after 2 1/2 years) and the way Samsung handled, or should I say mishandled, the washing machine recall.

When I called, I was told that delivery and installation would be covered for the recall. When I received my check, neither was paid. When I called again I was told delivery and new hoses (which any reputable dealer will require when installing a new washing machine) would not be covered, and all my requests for call backs from the company have never been answered.

I will NEVER purchase another samsung product and recommend that others do the same.

Tablets stink
April 17, 2017

I have owned three Samsung tablets in three years and they are crap. First one would get hot, flicker and shut down. Replaced screen and processor -same thing. Second one stopped charging - went dead. Third one plugged in charger - stop working. No power at all. The CEO web site is a joke. I'm sorry we don't know you and can't help. Great service. Would have gotten attention if my battery had burnt up. No more Samsungs ever.

I purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator, Model No. RF23HTEDBSR/AA on November 16,2016. In late March 2017 the refrigerator started making a lot of noise. Conveniently, the 1 year warranty had already expired. Because of that, we contacted Best Buy where we purchased the refrigerator. They came out and told us we needed new parts. They changed the evap cover assembly. Also removed the ice build-up at the drain hole (picture attached) and above the evaporator assembly and... now it is working fine. For how long I don't know. I contacted Samsung and was told:
"It is recommended to get the dryer repaired by authorized technician. We do not have information about the repairs done by third party service centers. Samsung offers 12 months of standard warranty from date of purchase. As of now there is no option available to reimburse the service cost. Hope you understand." It cost us $316.88 to get the refrigerator repaired. Aren't Samsung products supposed to be "exceptional?" And shouldn't Samsung stand behind their products? These refrigerators are very expensive and we thought we were purchasing a product that would last, at least for a few years before needing service. I will NEVER buy or recommend a Samsung product again! FYI, I was a Samsung fan until this, I own a Samsung Galaxy, washer/dryer and TV. Now I regret every one of those purchases. Previously I purchased Kenmore products and those products lasted ten years or more without ever needing any service. I regret ever buying Samsung!

First we booked an appointment, Nobody had the decency to call us and say SORRY we have to cancel, so we waited in
Even there customer complaints department does not respond as promised or their CEO does not reply
The lack of politeness shows they do not care about there customers
All this on a product less than 3 months old.

Again this morning on contacting them the lack of politeness on two phone calls and no sorry to say we got it wrong

Samsung s7
April 11, 2017

Ever since the newest software update with my samsung s7, my phone doesn't hold a charge. What so ever. I am left charging my phone 3 to 4 times a day. Where's it's still dead throughout the day. I can barely use it my phone because of this. I am seriously thinking about going to an IPhone. But I'm stuck with this phone till September. I am about to buy an iPhone offline and use until I am able to update.

I have a Samsung front load washer that smells moldy. I have tried to resolve the issue but haven't had any luck doing so on my own, so I'm reaching out to warn others.
I bought the washer at HH Gregg and I purchased their premium service plan warranty. HH Gregg has a phase on the front of their brochure that states "Enhanced coverage that goes above and beyond the manufacturer's limited warranty." Which I believe leaves me to say that I am battling Samsung and HH Gregg. Samsung has recalled several other models for this reason, but not the one that I currently own. I was so excited to own a front load washer and enjoyed it at first then the washer started to have an odor.
I make sure that I keep it clean, leave the door open, and it is only my husband and I that I use the washer for. These actions are things that you wouldn't even need to do with a normal top load washer. The odor transfers to the clothes which makes it hard to have clean smelling clothing. Samsung states that the problem is with HH Gregg's warranty plan and HH Gregg keeps finding loopholes to get out of doing anything.
I have completed all suggestions from both companies like, running bleach, Tang, and the cleaners that they sell through the wash cycles. I have replace the hose on the back of the washer that HH Gregg says is not covered under their plan. Cycles don't run correctly yet the repairman that HH Gregg sent says he cannot find anything wrong mechanically. After two years of battling this issue, I feel that I am running in circles.
I believe that Samsung is washing their stinky hands of the issue and HH Gregg is being slight handed about their warranty. My suggestion is not to buy either from either company.

Not sure
April 3, 2017

Not sure if the modern devices from them are worth the money they ask. I abandoned the idea about buying their new flagship phone as the price went way too high. However the old one and the monitor by Samsung are still working good and cause me no problems, so 4\5.

Worst customer service experience we ever had. We purchased a brand new home in Dec 2016. Moved into that home in January 2017. Turns out Samsung dishwasher from day 1 never worked. It was a brand new unit, never before used. I called their technical support a series of times for over 2 months. They considered the product out of one year warranty zone because the builder's purchase date exceeded a year. Learned from local appliance service techs that this particular model has a water level sensor issue and Samsung never did a product recall. Twice, Samsung issued me authorization codes for service repair. BE CAREFUL with those! They did that on my expense. Bottom line, they never took responsibility for the defect. They wore me out and I just went to purchase a new dishwasher NOT a Samsung. Their customer support telephone staff are very POLITE - but they give you the Chinese grin (or should I say Korean grin). They say yes, we help you... but as it unfolds, they mean NO, we won't pay one penny - you are on your own.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PHONES. They send you new updates with Virus into it. Your phone is effected exactly one month after the warranty is finished. When I called them to fix it they said warranty is done. And the mother board needs to be replaces which costs $450. This is how they are cheating all of us.
