Salt used to provide a very good service but not anymore. I used to have the replay option included in my home subscription. Now salt has disabled this after many years and are asking for extra money per month to have this restored. I believe the customers should be allowed to have refunds when Salt fail to deliver the promised network speed for example. Lost all respect for this company.
If I could give Salt a negative star review I would. Avoid this company if at all possible. We called 2 business days ago regarding crappy internet and the technical person did a remote hard reset of our device. The result was they destroyed it. After making us do ridiculous things (go get a new fibre optic cable etc) they finally acknowledged that we need a new box. Supposed to be here today or tomorrow. We get a shipping notification today - it will now be here Monday because of course they won't spend the money to have it delivered on a Saturday. So for two days we've had to use our Salt mobile hotspot to work at home, now they're throttling speed. What an absolutely useless company. Avoid at all costs
I was offered a SALT contract through the company I work for and fell for the low price.
Have been trying to get out of the contract for two months. Several emails, phone calls, filled out and sent documents, ID copies and used up nerves later and nothing happened.
They default blocked all service when going abroad (everything, not just roaming) and are also not able to unblock 'premium calls' for me. When I asked about how I should then contact my new provider's hotline to help me get out of this mess, they suggest "using a different phone", which I don't have. So I have been borrowing friends' phones.
They deny my cancellation requests because I didn't fill the forms out right yet no one can tell me what I did wrong because "another department handles this" but they won't redirect me to the "other department" because that's somehow not possible.
Can't wait to not be a customer anymore. No low price is worth this headache.
The connection 4G is very poor and the technical department takes more than 2.5 months to either fix it or cancel my contract. Customer service is bad, no solutions are offered except "wait" after 2.5 months of waiting and no possibility to contact a director/manager to somehow speed up the process.

Two weeks ago I moved into a new appartment and still have no network! Can happen to all providers - fair enough. The customer service is just the worst $#*! I have ever seen!. Have contacted SALT 7 times already and they keep saying I should have network. NO! They don't take you seriously as a person, and only when you start threatening them, things start to roll a bit. However, the problem is still not solved. Apparently, you can't set a termination date immediately - are you actually trying to make a complete fool of me? Not my problem if you can't guarantee the service you paid for!

Terrible company. Try to cancel your #SaltFiber because you moved. Can't do it online. Spend 30min on their robot hotline. Pay several hundred CHF just to get out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.
Despite announcement by a Salt Techie with name Adel Liratni that the service will be restored after 6 days of no reception, nothing has changed, now 7 days without Salt mobile. Takes a long time to reach helpdesk and they terminate their surveys long before the job is completed. Conclusion: Salt is woefully understaffed, their service quality is very poor and they most probably are lacking the know-how to build their own network.
The most incompetent people are working for this company. Because of the mistakes of two of their people I must to pay now a lot of money. They have highly incompetent people in their Shops.

Honestly, I don't understand how could this company still exist. I called to complain about the slow connection once and I got a very rude response. I hardly can open anything with this connection. And I pay around 69 CHF per month. I don't recommend it.

The most awful telecom service I have ever had, all this company cares about is money and they will find a way to get them from you, including misinformation over the phone, hanging up on you when you are talking to the client service, rude behavior, absolue irresponsiveness over the email etc.
They view their customers as cows to milk them out of money with various methods as much as they can. There must be new and strict laws to control to how they treat their customers. I wouldnt reccomend this to any one who are tight on budget. Buy subscriptions from lyca or sunrise for that metter.
Leaving Switzerland I resigned my internet contract. Salt requested me to pay for it until the end (even if in the contract it is mentioned that in case you leave the country, you can resign without extra fees). 4 registered letters, many emails and phone calls: they say they never received the internet box back (which is not true but thank god I sent it by registered letter) and said I have to pay. I spoke to my legal insurance and I was told not to pay the bill as what they are trying to do is not legal. I will never be their client again!
Don't ever do business with Salt. I terminated my contract and left the country. After 3 months back home, I get emails about bills with Salt. They did NOT terminate my contract and charged me for 3 months in addition to reminder fees on top of that. Their customer service sucks and they really don't give a $#*! about you. Also, their cellular phone also sucks and it's not worth it. Half of the time I felt that I had not cellular service at all.
The worst provider ever. I wish I could rate less than 1. They always charge you with additional unclear charges. The internet is so poor and on top the customer service is unprofessional and useless.

We are a group of eight having trip to Switzerland from HongKkng. Having landed at Zurich airport on 25/8, we received great service from the two Salt expert staff at 08:00. They used about 15 minutes to complete the sale including installation of the data cards for us. Apart from efficiency, they are helpful and nice too.
The 10CHF pre-paid data cards are found to be in very good 4G internet function within ten days' trip.
We really appreciated the Salt service which is highly recommended for tourist travels.

I had a contract formed with Salt in November 2019. Being from outside Europe, I had no idea how to pay the bills online. I could not login to the online platform to try to pay online or to ask a question. I emailed them a question about how to officially pay, which no one had responded to. I finally figured it out the next month, but at that point Salt had decided to cancel my contract. I was visiting home for the holidays, and then once I got back I could not visit the store because of the Covid-19. I cannot call because I no longer have service.
I then received a cancelation bill for around 900 chf. My phone payments for the two year contract were supposed to be around 800 chf for the whole two years. This is totally out of my budget and I have not been able to talk to anyone through any official means. I have officially paid for the cancelation at this point, but this whole thing was a huge waste of money and time. I no longer have a working phone at this point.
The so called 4G speed can give to download speed in KBPS and customer support will not be able to provide any help. I am stuck in a contract and now I have to pay and get worst service and no way to quit because of the contract.
