Horrible service

I had trouble with the contract but their customer service was totally worthless. They give you false words to get away with you, and your complaint is never dealt properly. Zero customer friendly, tries to steal your money as much as possible.

Salt used to provide a very good service but not anymore. I used to have the replay option included in my home subscription. Now salt has disabled this after many years and are asking for extra money per month to have this restored. I believe the customers should be allowed to have refunds when Salt fail to deliver the promised network speed for example. Lost all respect for this company.

Never again! The worst company by far. I used multiple telecommunication companies in multiple EU countries in the last 10 years, including a few in Switzerland. And this one is in a category of its own how bad they are. Literally. They rebranded from "Orange" a while ago because they had a bad reputation, and I unfortunately decided to try it thinking they improved. Worst decision ever! Few days after signing a contract problems started.They promise the world when you're signing, but actually they provide the worst service. From geo blocking in border cities, bad coverage even in the big cities, hidden and ridiculous fees, unlimited data meaning 5GB for them, having companies within the one company so that when you try to cancel its a real undertaking having to call or email multiple times (its like navigating a labyrinth), and much, much more. They lure you in by too good to be true offers just to find yourself in prison for the next 2 years, and soon you realize it was all a scam. It seems that they know everyone will leave after the contract runs out so they try to get as much money as they can in those two years. While signing I explicitly said I do not want paper bills. They still sent it. Since I pay bills online I would just put them to recycle. Only for me to later find out I was paying every month a fee for a paper bill. Ridiculous and disgusting. When I moved, and they could not provide me a service in a new location, they canceled the contract claiming I am canceling and they charged me 100 or even 200 CHF, cant remember now. And claiming that every other telecommunication company does the same. I checked. Surprise surprise, they don't. Only Salt. If this is not a legal scam company I don't know what is. Its even hard to believe that something so bad is even allowed in Switzerland. I just wonder when they rebrand again, what will be a new name... So if you want to avoid problems for the next 2 years of your life don't get fooled by too good to be true offers and NEVER sign with them.

De vergüenza me hicieron un contraato por dos años con el mismo abonamento pero con teléfono y resulta que pago 5 francos más al mes... Me siento estafada luego llamo y son antipáticos. Si no les gusta este trabajo que cambien. Por favor no caigan en la trampa como hice yo.

They view their customers as cows to milk them out of money with various methods as much as they can. There must be new and strict laws to control to how they treat their customers. I wouldnt reccomend this to any one who are tight on budget. Buy subscriptions from lyca or sunrise for that metter.

My abo expired and I decided to order a new Abo from Salt. I went to my account online and I chose an Abo (Europe XXL) with a 10 CHF discount for not ordering a Phone.
After I closed the order I did receive the documents by e-mail but I trusted that everything was as I ordered and didn't double check all the details. I know, my mistake!
I actually got the papers for another Abo (Swiss Max) which I didn't notice until several days later.
From this, things go from bad to worse:
1) It is absolutely almost impossible to get in touch with customer support
2) When I finally got in touch with them they played telephone ping-pong with me for an hour, transferring me from Contracts to Tech to Sales and back to Contracts again. After an hour I simply gave up.
All I wanted was an upgrade from Swiss Max (69CHF) to Europe XXL (79 CHF). I even said I will waive the discount and pay more, because I am prepared to pay for my mistake of not double-checking their order process and documentation.
It is simply not possible to Upgrade an Abo with Salt several days after closing a new contract. It is simply NOT possible.
For this reason, I will wait until this contract expires and I will never buy anything from salt again.
In the meanwhile I will contact an attorney to see how to cancel this contract before its end date.
Also, the fact that Salt does not close close contracts for less than 12 months even without a phone should be a massive red flag... this is considered abuse is most of the civilized countries, but unfortunately not in Switzerland

I was offered a SALT contract through the company I work for and fell for the low price.
Have been trying to get out of the contract for two months. Several emails, phone calls, filled out and sent documents, ID copies and used up nerves later and nothing happened.
They default blocked all service when going abroad (everything, not just roaming) and are also not able to unblock 'premium calls' for me. When I asked about how I should then contact my new provider's hotline to help me get out of this mess, they suggest "using a different phone", which I don't have. So I have been borrowing friends' phones.
They deny my cancellation requests because I didn't fill the forms out right yet no one can tell me what I did wrong because "another department handles this" but they won't redirect me to the "other department" because that's somehow not possible.
Can't wait to not be a customer anymore. No low price is worth this headache.

Terrible company. Try to cancel your #SaltFiber because you moved. Can't do it online. Spend 30min on their robot hotline. Pay several hundred CHF just to get out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

Even 1 star is too much to describe my experience at SALT. The most awful telecom service I have ever had, all this company cares about is money and they will find a way to get them from you, including misinformation over the phone, hanging up on you when you are talking to the client service, rude behavior, absolue irresponsiveness over the email etc.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

If I could give Salt a negative star review I would. Avoid this company if at all possible. We called 2 business days ago regarding crappy internet and the technical person did a remote hard reset of our device. The result was they destroyed it. After making us do ridiculous things (go get a new fibre optic cable etc) they finally acknowledged that we need a new box. Supposed to be here today or tomorrow. We get a shipping notification today - it will now be here Monday because of course they won't spend the money to have it delivered on a Saturday. So for two days we've had to use our Salt mobile hotspot to work at home, now they're throttling speed. What an absolutely useless company. Avoid at all costs

Bad quality network

The connection 4G is very poor and the technical department takes more than 2.5 months to either fix it or cancel my contract. Customer service is bad, no solutions are offered except "wait" after 2.5 months of waiting and no possibility to contact a director/manager to somehow speed up the process.

The most incompetent people are working for this company. Because of the mistakes of two of their people I must to pay now a lot of money. They have highly incompetent people in their Shops.
Never happened for me in the whole Switzerland, that I should pay for the mistakes of the company's people.
I regret to choose this company. Definitely, I don'‚ recommend it.

Salt: Poor service quality

Despite announcement by a Salt Techie with name Adel Liratni that the service will be restored after 6 days of no reception, nothing has changed, now 7 days without Salt mobile. Takes a long time to reach helpdesk and they terminate their surveys long before the job is completed. Conclusion: Salt is woefully understaffed, their service quality is very poor and they most probably are lacking the know-how to build their own network.

The iPhone I ordered at a SALT store was to be sent to me by SALT me via Swiss Post. I followed up when the promised 3 business days delivery had past and I still did not receive the phone after 2 weeks! I also went back to the SALT store and the guy who sold the contract and phone to me was useless. He just told me to call Swiss Post myself!. I called customer service of SALT and customer service Swiss Post and upon investigation, SALT confirmed loss of the phone by Swiss Post. But the worst part is that SALT bills me monthly without rendering the service (since no phone) and even to bill you to pay the iPhone that never reached you! It is a terrible experience and it does not seem an isolated case. I read a review in TrustPilot of a SALT customer named Melissa Enterich who was also billed for a phone she did NOT receive! Ridiculous and totally unbelievable especially in a place like Switzerland! But it is happening unfortunately. These fraudulent cases should be reported to the government customer protection services! Adding insult to injury, the SALT Customer service is the worst ever waste of time - frustrating and so useless. So many bad reviews of SALT mobile everywhere but too late for me. I had to experience this charade to learn a very painful lesson.

Simply a joke - pure catastrophe. An absolute cheek.

Two weeks ago I moved into a new appartment and still have no network! Can happen to all providers - fair enough. The customer service is just the worst $#*! I have ever seen!. Have contacted SALT 7 times already and they keep saying I should have network. NO! They don't take you seriously as a person, and only when you start threatening them, things start to roll a bit. However, the problem is still not solved. Apparently, you can't set a termination date immediately - are you actually trying to make a complete fool of me? Not my problem if you can't guarantee the service you paid for!

TIP: Should def. Have listened to the feedback from friends!

Really bad internet connection, really bad customer service, very rude people, especially if you are working from home just stay away, they are unreliable.
